Clara Jackson

Clara is a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. She has worked in the Financial Services sector for almost 20 years, initially in support functions within busy practices, before qualifying to become an adviser in 2006. Since then, roles have encompassed both advisory and technical support. Her advisory roles prior to joining Campbell Thomson have encompassed many different aspects of both Personal and Business Financial Planning. She has a wide breadth of knowledge in both areas. Ultimately, Clara's passion is helping people to identify their objectives and support their achievement, personally or within their business. She does this through actively listening to her clients, to understand as much as she can about them and what they hope to achieve by speaking with an adviser. Outside of work, Clara has a partner and a young son. Together they enjoy travelling to new destinations when time permits, along with frequent beach trips and walks in the local parks.

Emma Murray

Emma joined the team in 2022 and has brought with her 5+ years' experience working within financial services, including legal, banking, and wealth management sectors. Emma is currently working towards achieving her Diploma in Financial Services and has big aspirations for the future. She enjoys the fast-paced energy of the industry and applies herself in everything she does. Outside of the office, Emma enjoys travelling abroad and soaking up the sunshine!

Euan Bottomley

Job Titles:

Euan has over 30 years of experience in the life insurance and pensions industry working with Campbell Thomson since 1999 and while he is a general practitioner, he has particular expertise in the retirement planning for both individual and corporate clients. Away from the office Euan is a keen and fairly handy golfer. In addition to golf he leads a pretty healthy lifestyle including power-kiting and holding an accredited teaching qualification in skiing. Garreth Rooney

Job Titles:
  • Product & Research Analyst
Garreth began his career in financial services in 2007 and has experience in personal finance, stockbroking and latterly, financial planning. He joined our Investment Team in 2019 as an Investment Research Analyst. Garreth is a ‘numbers guy' with a penchant for statistical and technical data. He is currently working towards a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning via the Chartered Insurance Institute, having thus far attained R02 (Investment Principles & Risk), R03 (Personal Taxation) and R04 (Pensions and Retirement Planning). Away from the office, Garreth enjoys playing 5-a-side, going camping with his wife and their dog, and learning to play the piano.

Heather Darrah

Heather joined our investment team in August 2015 as a Product & Research Analyst, joining from Ignis Asset Management where she was a member of the RFP and Data Management Team for 10 years. Prior to this Heather held various roles at Abbey National Asset Managers (now Santander Asset Management) laterally as an Institutional Data Analyst within their Investment Marketing Team. Kenny Beattie

Kenny has been in the financial services industry since 1990 and has worked in Advisory roles with 3 major UK Banks prior to joining Campbell Thomson. His previous advisory roles encompassed many different aspects of both Personal and Corporate Financial Planning and he has a wide level of knowledge and experience in both areas. Kenny enjoys working with clients to create tax efficient plans for their future and takes great pleasure in seeing these plans evolve and come to fruition over future years. Outside of work, Kenny enjoys spending time keeping fit and active enjoying a variety of sports, outdoor activities and socialising with family and friends.

Kerry Gardiner

Kerry rejoined Campbell Thomson in 2022 after 8 years away working as a registered Childminder. Before leaving, she had been with the company for 17 years and when the opportunity to come back arose, Kerry had no hesitation in accepting. Away from the office Kerry enjoys long walks with her dog and spending time with friends and family.

Laura Templeton

Laura graduated from Glasgow University with a BSc Honours degree in Geography. She then moved to Aberdeen to pursue a career in fashion where she worked as a Product Manager for one of the UK's leading high street retailers. In this role she helped open and run one of their flagship stores. She decided to relocate back home to the west coast where she made a move into financial services. The flexible skills required in her degree have allowed her to adapt quickly to working with Campbell Thomson and becoming a valued member of the team. Away from the office Laura is still interested in fashion although now enjoys this as a hobby. She also enjoys holidaying in the sunshine and spending time with her friends and family. Rebecca Quenby

Sandra Carrie

Job Titles:
  • Group Business Administrator
Sandra's role in Campbell Thomson is as Employee Benefits Administrator for all the Group Schemes within Campbell Thomson. This incorporates Group Pension Plans (GPPs), together with Group Risk products: Group Life, Group Private Medical Insurance, Group Income Protection and involves the setting up and on-going maintenance of the schemes, whilst providing support to the scheme members on transfers and vesting of their pensions. Sandra entered the financial services industry in 1979 and successfully held positions in Sun Life of Canada and Towry Law before joining Campbell Thomson in 2005. Qualifications Include

Sharon Skinner

Sharon has worked within financial services since 1991 and has built up an extensive wealth of knowledge over this time. Her main role comprises the overall running of the office as well as assisting both Directors and the Compliance Officer in their day to day work. Stewart Thomson

Unbelievably, for someone who looks so young, Stewart has been in the financial services industry for over 30 years and while he is an extremely experienced all round financial adviser, has particular expertise in investment, retirement and protection planning. Stewart is a keen golfer (and part-time golf coach). His other love is skiing, which he shares with the rest of his family, and holds an accredited teaching qualification in skiing.
