The founder of I.C.E. Ltd, Neil is a focussed, capable, and driven individual, with a proven record of developing and deploying technology into demanding applications such as military, Formula One and the steel industry.
Neil Curry is a focussed, capable, and driven individual, with a proven record of developing and deploying technology into demanding applications such as military, Formula One and the steel industry.
On leaving University, Neil was sponsored by a venture capital backed, University spin-out company; he was awarded a PhD for his work on the business core technology.
Neil worked with the spin-out company for a further eight years and saw the company transition and grow significantly. During this time, he was a key member of staff and the leading Engineer.
In 2014 Neil founded I.C.E. Ltd in the pursuit of providing high-tech innovative engineering solutions for industry.
Neil's career has centred around embedded electronics, sensors, sensor data and supporting infrastructure.
He has worked across many industry sectors, including motorsport, automotive, defence, steel, down well and rail sectors. During which time he has worked on many applications including, explosion metrology, piston telemetry and field deployed condition based monitoring.
Neil is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and a member of The Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET).
Emily joined the team in March 2021 as Office Administrator. She has a varied background working in marketing and administration for professional and agency services in both the public and private sectors. As Office Administrator, Emily handles supply chain enquiries and shipments, as well as day-to-day office enquiries. She very much enjoys the variety of the role and being a hands-on part of the team.
Originally, from Glossop in the Peak District, Emily moved to Yorkshire to attend the University of Leeds where she obtained a bachelor's degree in Creative Writing and Philosophy, which she puts to use writing our marketing content. In 2017, she won an award for social media activity in the law industry, and has certificates in several key digital marketing tools.
In her spare time, when she's not busy painting, Emily enjoys the arts, geocaching, pro-wrestling, and talking true crime.
