FARMWOOD - Key Persons
Originally from Portland, Brian founded Aero Teardrops alongside Janice in 2015. After beginning to build the very first prototype, their own teardrop trailer, the idea for Aero Teardrops flowed naturally. His passion for the business lies in his motto, "We are genuinely building more than a physical product-we're building happiness." On his days off you can find Brian tinkering on his race car, racing autocross, or spending time camping and doing outdoor activities in the mountains, his happy place. He is a huge fan of Star Wars and baking, as well as building, racing, and playing with scale RC model rock crawlers, trail trucks and off-road buggies. Brian's favorite part of Aero is seeing the excited looks on customer's faces when they pick up their trailers and later hearing stories about their many trailer-related adventures.
Originally from Texas and New Mexico, Cody spent his younger years in New Mexico before relocating to Texas for 20 years. He came to Portland for a visit and fell in love with the city on the last day of his trip after finding a strawberry growing near the sidewalk. A father to two kids, ages eight and five, Cody spends his free time doing "the usual Potland thing" hiking in nature, as well as gardening. Most people don't know that Cody is a "music nut" and played for a punk band in Austin. Cody knows more about music than anything else, curating an impressive collection of vinyl records. His most recent obsession is Zambian rock from the 70's. Having been at Aero since the Spring of 2021, Cody loves the family oriented environment at Aero Teardrops, as well as the flexibility to be creative and spend his time doing what he loves to do, building things and problem solving.
Born and raised in Tigard, Oregon, Dan has moved all over between Oregon and Washington. Aero's newest crew member as of 2022, Dan enjoys working alongside what he calls a "solid" crew, where everyone is supportive and ready to drop everything to help each other out. On days off Dan likes to hang out with family, get out and camp, ride dirt bikes and barbecue.
Dominic was born and raised in McMinnville, Oregon. He moved around a lot to gain experience from different types of jobs to become a Jack of all trades. He bow and rifle hunts every year and can't get enough! During the summer time, Dominic also participates in street racing and mud drags. He would like to travel to different parts of the world and make friends within different cultures. Dominic has a a great strength and interest in trailer manufacturing.
Born and raised in Portland, Jake went to school for mechanical engineering technology. Having seen Aero Teardrops exhibited at various car shows and expos in the Portland area, Jake knew he wanted to work for Aero and became a part of the team in October, 2021. He enjoys building things with his hands, seeing the work he's doing at Aero making our customers happy. On the weekends and holidays you can find Jake spending time outdoors hiking and camping, as well as restoring antique radios from the 1930's.
Also a Portland native, Jake has been a part of the Aero Teardrops team for the past year and a half. He enjoys the process of taking something from its base form and transforming it into something complete. An avid reader, Jake spends his free time in the winter parked indoors reading non-fiction. During the summer, you can find him outdoors fishing and camping.
Typeform wiz and excel sheet master, Janice is the brains behind Aero Teardrops. She was born in Roseburg, Oregon but grew up in Wisconsin before moving back to Oregon. Janice hails from a tech background and has channeled her passion for gender equity into her 10+ years of CEO experience, previously founding and running ChickTech, a national nonprofit for women and girls in tech. Janice has two children, aged 21 and 14. She's currently based in Paris, France where she relocated two years ago to pursue her masters in international development. In her spare time, you can find her whipping up delicious gluten-free meals for friends and family.
An Australian shepherd gifted to Tyler as a puppy, Layla is Tyler's plus one and assists in overseeing all manufacturing activities. Habitual napper. On most weekdays you can find Layla barking after the manufacturing team, keeping them in line. Easily swayed by cuddles and petting.
Nathan was born in Wisconsin. He joined the Marine Corps in 2018. Nathan enjoys going to the gym, reading, and playing video games.
Seth grew up between Minnesota and Oregon. After graduating high school in 2013, Seth gained his introduction to professional woodworking while working for his uncle's cabinetry business. Aero's longest standing employee enjoys the satisfaction that comes with watching a teardrop come together from rough lumber to a finished quality product, and the fact that Aero Teardrops is always innovating, which "keeps the job fresh". His days off are spent going camping and making home improvements with his girlfriend and 1 year old son.
Born and raised in Beavercreek, Oregon. Steven has spent his whole life in the great PNW. When he isn't exploring out in nature you will find him writing and producing music. His first love may be music, but his passion is people. He got his degree in Sociology from Portland State University so he could better understand how to help others and his community. Being a part of a company that puts its customers first is why he couldn't pass up the opportunity to join the Aero Teardrops family.
Born and raised in Oregon, Tony has a love for the great outdoors and telling stories. His love for visual storytelling led him into the field of marketing. A Portland State University graduate, dedicated father, and adventurist. He has provided marketing and branding services to dozens of businesses and has found a home at Aero Teardrops. On his days off he likes to film at car shows and restaurants, go hiking with his two sons, and explore the Pacific NW.

Originally from Portland, Tyler moved around a bit before resettling in the area and joining Aero Teardrops. As the shop lead, Tyler supervises and oversees all trailer manufacturing, from start to finish. On winter weekends you can find him in the mountains snowboarding, and during the summers he can be spotted with Brian racing auto-cross, their shared hobby. If you spot Tyler, chances are Layla isn't lurking very far- the two are a package deal.
