Daniel Page

Job Titles:
  • SALEROOM MANAGER and PHOTOGRAPHER
Daniel has over a decade's experience working within the auction industry. He has worked at Bishop & Miller from its inception, and prior to this, gained knowledge working at a number of auction houses including Bonham's. Daniel has a keen eye for photography, having honed his talents during his time spent in the auction industry. Daniel is responsible for all Bishop & Miller photography.

Jeanette Innes

Job Titles:
  • ADMINISTRATION & RECEPTION at GLANDFORD
Jeanette is the other half of our administration and reception team at Glandford. Working alongside Lynne, Jeanette will be the first person you will meet when you visit us at Manor Farm and she will also be the first person you speak to when you call us to speak about your objects. Jeanette will assist with all things administration from our Norfolk auction gallery.

Jess Ames

Job Titles:
  • OFFICE MANAGER
Jessica is our Office Manager and is responsible for keeping the day to day management of the office running smoothly. Relatively new to the business, starting in 2019, Jessica has swiftly picked up the reigns of running our busy office and learning all the ways of the auctions. If you have contacted the office, then you have more than likely spoken to Jessica, she arranges all payments from all auctions, keeps on top of the valuers busy diaries (which is a feat in itself!), managing correspondence around all auctions whether its condition reports or consignments and generally manages the team around her. Jessica's favourite auction is the Jewellery & Watches as she says "there are so many beautiful items and it is always interesting to see people's tastes and opinions in what they look at when they come and view". As part of our 'meet the team' we asked all the team for a fun fact about themselves, and Jessica's was......i'm an avid yoga fiend, love travelling the world and I also love running, it helps me to unwind after a busy day at work!

Kate Bollinger

Job Titles:
  • ADMINISTRATION CO - ORDINATOR & RECEPTIONIST
Kate is new to the team and joins us as our front of house and administrator, covering Zoe's maternity leave. Kate will be the first person you speak to when you call us and she will greet you at the front desk at our Stowmarket saleroom.

Kevin Lines

Job Titles:
  • PAINTINGS SPECIALIST ( NORFOLK BASED )
Kevin joins us as Paintings Specialist, primarily based in Glandford Norfolk however will cover the whole East Angian Region. He has been closely involved in the world of auctions from a very young age, his father, John Lines, was a driving force behind Norfolk's Keys auction house for some 53 years. Kevin has spent 27 years in the worlds of Auctions and joins us at an exciting time with our new Norfolk base. He comes with a strong knowledge of East Anglian Art including the Norwich School and twentieth century artists like Campbell Mellon and John Arnesby Brown.

Lynne Chamberlain

Job Titles:
  • ADMINISTRATION & RECEPTION at GLANDFORD
Lynne is one half of our administration and reception team. Working alongside Jeanette, Lynne will be the first person you will meet when you visit us at Manor Farm, Glandford she will also be the first person you speak to when you call us at Glandford. Lynne will assist with all things administration from our Norfolk auction gallery.

Michael Higginson

Job Titles:
  • AUCTION SALEROOM ASSISTANT
Michael joined the team with an important role, being in charge of all the postage and packaging for all our auctions - which is a big task considering we hold over 100 auctions across the year! With a keen interest in Music (having previously worked at the John Peel Centre), Michael has taken on the role of cataloguing our Online Timed Music auctions.

Oliver Miller

Job Titles:
  • MANAGING DIRECTOR, AUCTIONEER and VALUER
Oliver has extensive experience spanning over 20 years within the Art and Auction world. He spent time in his early career learning furniture restoration. Oliver continued crafting his knowledge and love of antiques at Bonham's auctioneers as a Porter, Saleroom Manager and then a Valuer. In 2015 Oliver decided the time was right to create his own auction house in Suffolk, opening Bishop & Miller Auctioneers and Valuers in Stowmarket. Oliver has particular interests in Furniture, Wristwatches and historically significant objects.

Paul Walsham

Job Titles:
  • MILITARY & MILITARIA SPECIALIST
Paul is our Military & Militaria specialist. He works on all our Military auctions from taking items in for advice and valuation but also spending a lot of his time researching the items to reflect its historic worth. Previously, Paul served in the Royal Marines for 11 years and then worked for the metropolitan police for 22 years until he retired in 2015. Paul has a keen interest in history and antiques in particular militaria which he has collected for many years.

Rachel Rabett

Job Titles:
  • VALUATION DAY ADMINISTRATOR
Rachel assists with the administration of the Bishop & Miller valuation events across the region. She also works as a viewing assistant for the specialist sales and lots for the Jewellery sales. Rachel is an experienced administrator and has a particular interest in jewellery.

Russell Cole

Job Titles:
  • Staff Member
Russell has over 13 years experience working within the auction industry starting out as a porter during school holidays. Having obtained a degree in Fine Art Valuation in Southampton Russell joined Neals Auctioneers in Woodbridge. Russell Joined Bishop & Miller in March 2018 and has a particular interest in silver and watches.

Russell Osbourne

Job Titles:
  • MUSIC SPECIALIST
Russell is our Music specialist. Having been with Bishop & Miller from concept, working as a porter and cataloguer he now looks after our music auctions. With a specialism in vinyl, Russell has a keen eye for all genres of music but his favourite genre is Jazz. Russell also has a keen interest in Art, and has a BA Honors degree in Fine Art from Norwich University of the Arts.

Steve Stockton

Job Titles:
  • HEAD of BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ( NORFOLK )
Steven has over twenty years experience as an all-round valuer and auctioneer, working across England for some of the biggest names in the industry. He began his career in 2000, with saleroom roles at Phillips and Sothebys in West London, before returning to his adopted home county of Norfolk and an auctioneering role in Diss. This was followed by a highly successful ten years with Bonhams, firstly working on the Athenaeum sales in Bury St Edmunds, then as senior valuer & office manager of the Guildford, Surrey branch. He was then tempted North by the large family firm, Tennants of Yorkshire, where he was manager of the illustrious Harrogate office for five years, before again returning to East Anglia.

Tom Harmer

Job Titles:
  • Cataloguer
Tom started with us as an Apprentice although having been bought up in the industry he already knew so much when he joined us. Starting with us as Auction Room assistant throughout his time here he has moved onto cataloguing our Selected Antiques auction and also assists with the photography. You will also find Tom up on the rostrum where he takes many of our regular monthly auctions.

Zoe Clarke

Job Titles:
  • ADMINISTRATION CO - ORDINATOR & RECEPTIONIST
Zoe is the first face and voice you will hear when you contact the Bishop & Miller team. She assists with everything in the office and looks after people as they come through our doors - she is also the spreadsheet guru of the office! Zoe is however currently on Maternity Leave but we look forward to welcoming her back in 2023!
