Drama Teacher

Kerry is a freelance Drama Practitioner and Artist. This involves Acting work, teaching Physical Theatre, teaching Circus skills, leading Drama workshops, teaching Dance and performing with a Circus company. She works with a wide demographic of people; teaching children and adults, leading workshops with children and young people with learning difficulties, whilst working in a range of settings from schools (mainstream and SEND schools) to communities, to business events. Her Master's degree in Drama and Theatre Education has taught her a lot of skills in Drama and Performing Arts and how to use these skills for Theatre in Education, Forum Theatre, Physical Theatre, teaching Performance Skills such as character development, space and movement, themes, plot, staging. She has been able to use these skills along with tools learnt in her Primary Teaching degree to effectively teach children and adults in all aspects of Performing Arts. Kerry loves working in Drama and Performing Arts. She sees it not only as an enjoyable activity but believes Drama can encourage the acquisition of a number of useful skills; such as confidence, creativity, social skills and physical awareness; which are applicable to many avenues of life and work; not solely for those seeking a career in the Performing Arts.

Joshua Gibbons

Joshua has a passion for entertaining others and a gift for teaching and encouraging young people. Using comedy Joshua brings out the best in others and creates an environment in which young people thrive. This young man has an enthusiasm and gentleness which inspires young people to be their best. A talented actor, Joshua has played at a number of theatres including a lead role at Her Majesty's Theatre, London. Also he has worked in numerous filming projects such as The Quest for the Golden Pinecone produced by Pauline Quirke Academy Script to Screen and also featured in a music pop video produced by Victoria Knorring of Snoww Productions in London. A self taught ventriloquist since 2014, Joshua regularly entertains at his local church and other venues including residential homes for children and he was also a finalist in Lichfield's Got Talent in 2018. Using TikTok and YouTube as a means to showcase scripts and acting, Joshua currently has over seventeen thousand followers.

Kimberley King

Kimberley has had a passion for performing arts ever since she started classes from a young age. Specifically, her training is in musical theatre, but she has experience in a range of dance styles such as ballet, contemporary and jazz. She started singing lessons very early on and this is something she now excels in. She has performed in a number of amateur productions, such as Hairspray and Wicked. Currently, she is studying at the prestigious Arden School of Theatre, working towards her BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre. Kimberley chose to work in a primary school for her work experience during school and this is what sparked her interest in, and love for, teaching.

Molly Wright

Job Titles:
  • Dance Teacher
Molly trained at Trinity Laban graduating with an honours degree in Dance Theatre in 2008. Following graduation she has worked as a freelance artist across London and the rest of the UK. As an artist for Dante or Die Theatre Company, she led their outreach work in the community. Outside of London, she was the Choreographer for the production of "The Entertainer" by the Garrick Rep Company in Staffordshire and has led large scale site specific community projects for various Staffordshire Arts Festivals. Since 2011 she has worked as lead artist for East London Dance working in a variety of community dance settings. This has included working with the over 60s in conjunction with Natasha Gilmore, Director of Barrowland Ballet. A previous project included the involvement in the Glasgow Commonwealth Games. Molly also leads the over 60's dance group "Leap of Faith" as part of her role at ELD. This led to her forming her own Dance company, which recently made their debut performance at Sadler's Wells as part of the Elixir festival.

Sarah Jones

Sarah has been a professional singer since 1984 and a singing teacher since 1999. She has developed a passion for exploring the power of singing to enrich the lives, physically, mentally and emotionally of all ages. After having her own children, she has witnessed the effect music had upon their learning. Over the years of teaching singing and music, privately and in schools, many of her students now work professionally in the Music and Performance Industries. Sarah has worked in nurseries and through a variety of workshops for all ages, including those enriched with special needs. She is sensitive to the individual and strives to find the specific pathway to learning which each child requires whilst working towards a team performance. She discovered Music Theatre later on in life and believes in its power to bring singing to a new depth of understanding and connection with the audience, and themselves. Prior to teaching, Sarah recorded and performed in a professional duo all over the country for a wide variety of gigs; small local gigs to large festivals, working alongside the current ‘big names' but since teaching she thrills more on witnessing her students uncover their hidden creative talents than any standing ovation. As a singing teacher she knows she has ‘the best job eva!' and hopes never to retire!

Victoria Beard

Currently studying BA (Hons) in Dance at the university of Wolverhampton. Victoria has been training in a range of different styles from a young age and has been performing in shows since the age of seven. Some of her most recent shows include the curtain raiser for Swan Lake at the Birmingham Hippodrome and the local Christmas pantomime. Victoria has a passion and drive for teaching young people; she has been assisting and teaching since the age of fourteen. Victoria has competed in many dance competitions and has also facilitated opportunities for others to compete too. Victoria loves working with the children, allowing them to showcase their talent and grow into confident, talented performers.
