Jennifer expanded her business in 2018 and developed a sister company, designTEN1 Construction, LLC. DT1 Construction is a bonded, licensed and insured construction company that takes all the great work and keeps it under one roof making it very easy for our clients. DT1 Construction started after Jennifer's many years of experience and collaboration with trade professionals on her projects. If we can make it simple and easy for our clients, our clients will have a better experience during the construction phase... designTEN1, LLC (DT1) started as an interior design company in 2010 by Jennifer Akerman. Jennifer brought a style of mixing classic, timeless accessories with current modern lines and colors to create a fresh, elegant style; a style she coined "Modassic".
