DR. PETER KAY - Key Persons
Our newest addition to the Perfection Team, Casey Kay, recently returned to his hometown after living and working in China for the past five years. The younger son of Melinda and Dr. Kay, Casey graduated from Trinity University in 2011 with a double-bachelor's degree in International Business and Mandarin Chinese. During his years in China, he spent time with two large multi-national companies, designed & founded an English language school and also established his own international business and brand management consulting firm. Casey's passionate personality and strong leadership skills make him a perfect fit for the Perfection Team. He is a loving husband and son and also the proud father of two daughters, Kennedy 19-months and Lucy 12-years old.

The shoes I'm trying to fill are so large because my mom touched the lives of every patient and every employee in the Practice. My hope is to continue to carry on Melinda's vision for the future of our Practice, while also growing and pursuing perfection at every step along the way."

Cheryl is a ray of sunshine and is wildly enthusiastic in her role as a Skin Care Specialist. An Arizona native and graduate of the University of Arizona College of Nursing, she joined the Perfection staff 10 years ago following a 20-year career as a Neonatal ICU nurse. Cheryl loves coaching her patients in the treatment and management of their skin. She finds the cohesive integration of surgical and non-surgical aspects gives her the best set of tools for efficiently achieving noticeable results. Cheryl also has advanced training in sclerotherapy and laser for the treatment of veins. When she is not illuminating our office with her smile, Cheryl can be found burning up the tennis court, and spending time traveling with her husband and three adult children.

Eberi originally came to Perfection as an intern from the San Miguel High School Corporate Internship Program during the 2009-2010 school year. When a position recently became available at Perfection, we were fortunate that Eberi was able to re-join our team and seamlessly transition into a full-time role. This bright young talent manages her work with us while simultaneously finishing her undergraduate studies at Pima College and at the University of Arizona majoring in Nursing with a minor in Communications. Outside of the office you can find her wherever there is sunshine and a cold beverage, spending time with her boyfriend, family, friends, and adorable dog, Marley.
An Arizona native, Edlin graduated from Tucson College, as a Pharmacy Technician. Her past work experiences as an office manager and with an international investigation company, have given Edlin a sense of passion, purpose, and commitment, all of which help make her an outstanding member of the Perfection family.
She is devoted to her husband and her family, and loves being outdoors and traveling in her spare time.
When exploring the option of surgery in our office, Karen, Dr. Kay's surgical assistant of over 20 years, is an invaluable resource. During your primary consultation, she will facilitate finishing discussions, review the fee quotation with you, and explore scheduling options. On the day of surgery it is Karen's reassuring touch that will guide you from start to finish, providing you with a great sense of comfort. Working alongside Dr. Kay for over two decades, Karen is able to anticipate his every move-she is an integral part of the surgical team. This translates into safety and security for each and every patient.

With a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Colorado, Kathy was a member of the Wound Care Team at TMC, before joining the Perfection team in 1996. In 2006, Kathy was asked by Dr. Kay to take over Collagen injections. Since then, she has developed her department to include Botox and dermal fillers, adding to the wide selection of treatment options. Over the years, Kathy's expertise and excellent reputation have led to her selection as an advisor to the Allergan Corporation as well as an ACE instructor for Allergan injectables.
In her second role, Kathy is a surgical Patient Care Coordinator. She serves as an advisor and educator to our patients before and after surgery. After hours and on weekends, Kathy can be found driving the golf ball great distances in the links around Tucson. Her creativity can be witnessed in her beautiful basket weaving and knitting.
lisa has been a member of the Perfection family for 10 years. With over 35 years of experience in the medical field, her expertise optimizes efficiency in the front office and with the coordination of medical records. lisa's caring demeanor combined with her creative talents in makeup artistry are a catalyst for office camaraderie.
Outside of the office, lisa serves as a Contemporary Worship Leader and has been blessed with an amazing voice - singing at weddings and events. She has also served as a Volunteer Director for musicals at the Academy of Tucson Middle School for the past 20 years.
In her free time, lisa loves spending time with her amazing husband, her two sons and their beautiful girls.
Melinda and her husband Dr. Peter Kay worked together to build Perfection Plastic Surgery & Skin Care since its inception in 1991. Melinda earned a Bachelor's degree from Marquette University and her Master's from Kent State University. Prior to moving to Tucson, she worked as a speech pathologist at the Cleveland Clinic, where she met Dr. Kay. A St. Louis native, Melinda felt a tight bond with the Tucson community where she raised her two boys, Cameron and Casey, and managed the ‘family business' for well over 20 years.
As Practice Manager, Melinda saw it as her responsibility to consistently keep up with the industry's technology, sorting out the good from the bad and the ugly. This is a multi-faceted process where science, efficacy, safety, and cost for the patient must be taken into consideration. Working collaboratively with Dr. Kay and rest of the Perfection team, a comprehensive, result-oriented, and safe ‘tool box' was developed. Aside from the machines themselves, Melinda placed an immense amount of trust in the technical skill of both the surgical team and skin care team. She considered herself lucky to work alongside family, and a staff that feels like family, every day.
When not consumed by everything Perfection Plastic Surgery & Skin Care, Melinda was an avid sports fan and chef. She loved traveling to lands both near and far, making memories with friends and visiting family.
Words cannot express how much Melinda will be missed by her friends, family and everyone who knew her. Her professionalism and kindness are greatly missed, but the work she did in building an exceptional team that truly is a family will live on.
A breath of fresh air, Michelle's extensive experience in aesthetics has made her transition to our Skin Care Team a flawless one. Although originally from Massachusetts, Michelle grew up in Tucson and considers herself a native. After raising her two boys, which she would tell you has been her most fulfilling job, Michelle became a licensed aesthetician and certified laser technician. Even after a decade, Michelle continues to find joy in her work, educating her patients, and offering a holistic approach beyond visible results, to help transform their emotions as well. She is able to make skin care "fun" and manageable for her patients, making sure the right tools are available for achieving their goals. On her days off, Michelle enjoys reading, gardening, and home decorating. She's also up for the challenge of completing any type of puzzle. "In our field, technology is ever changing. There are constantly new developments in treatment and product technology-plus, the consumer's access is exponentially increasing. In light of this, patients need to have a go-to person who genuinely has their best interests in mind and stays knowledgeable about current advances in skin care." - Michelle

Dr. Peter Kay has been practicing cosmetic surgery in Tucson, AZ for more than 25 years. He is a Board-Certified plastic surgeon as well as a member of the American College of Surgeons. Additionally, he is a former consultant at the Mayo Clinic.
Along with the team at Perfection Plastic Surgery, Dr. Peter Kay provides an individualized approach to patient care. He believes there is no single approach that is right for every patient. Furthermore, Dr. Kay may recommend a local colleague or another surgeon located outside of Arizona, if he does not feel he can achieve the desired results of your surgery.

When exploring the option of surgery in our office, Regina will likely be the first person you meet. On the day of surgery, she will be the first face you see as you awaken from anesthesia in the recovery room. Time and time again, our patients rave that Regina's well-tailored education, support, and appropriate sense of humor throughout the surgery journey makes the process of recovery and healing much easier. Regina's efficiency and expertise readily translate to her other roles as Coordinator of Laser Certification, OSHA standards, and certification by the American Association of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities. These jobs entail extreme organization and diligence to remain in compliance with an ever-growing set of rules and regulations. Regina spends weekends enjoying theater, reading the newspaper from her hometown in Germany, caring for her family and cultivating her main passion: orchid gardening.

RoseMarie's background is as a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse. After receiving her R.N. in 1989 at Pima Community College in Tucson, RoseMarie became a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse where she worked in neonatal units, developed staff liaison positions, taught parent education classes and managed a 70 member staff. For the past 10 years at Perfection, RoseMarie has provided the full complement of non-surgical services, including Botox injections and dermal fillers. It is likely that her experience in working on the tiny veins of prematurely born infants has afforded RoseMarie her reputable "soft touch" with her patients at Perfection. She is also a Trainer for the aesthetic laser division of the Lumenis Corporation. RoseMarie's off-hours pleasures involve visiting her daughter overseas (Italy, Germany, then Japan) whenever possible, watching her teenage son play basketball, listening to books on tape, and playing cards.
