Environmental Wood Solutions, EWS, was started in 2000. EWS is a full-service waste wood recycler and one of the largest land clearing contractors in Michigan. EWS collects the majority of our raw materials from our clearing work in the form of trees and stumps. EWS recycles these products to produce a high quality landscape mulch in both hardwoods and dyed materials. EWS also provides a convenient disposal operation for contractors and homeowners at our facilities in Orion and Whitmore Lake, Michigan... EWS provides intrastate trucking for multiple types of products, including lowboy moves, walking floor freight, and gravel train freight... We believe recycling is the answer and we do our best to keep compostable/recyclable material out of the landfills by accepting leaves, brush, stumps, logs, pallets, wood crates and construction material for disposal.
