Ali Massey qualified as a Registered General Nurse at St Mary's Hospital London in 1992 and went on to specialise in cardiac nursing at St Thomas' Hospital London. She then worked as a Cardiac Liaison Nurse at The East Surrey Hospital in Redhill for six years. With a young family at home, Ali spent thirteen years at Reigate Grammar School where she worked for nine years as their Foundation & Alumni Secretary, and four years as the Events Coordinator in the Marketing, Admissions & Events team. From 2017 to 2022, she worked for IAFL, managing their European Chapter and organising meetings and conferences for IAFL and the European Chapter. In 2022, Ali joined the JLICS team supporting them with conference management and administration.

Annie Dunster graduated from King's College London with an Honours degree in French and spent the next two years in the sales administration team of a major French aluminium conglomerate. In 1994, after spending a year travelling solo across the globe, Annie joined the International Bar Association where she rose through the ranks to be appointed IBA Deputy Executive Director, a position she held for 5 years. Her role required providing direction and guidance to many of the senior principal leaders of the Association.

Dawn's career started in the conference department of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Two years later in 1981, she joined the International Bar Association as a Conference Administrator, personally responsible for her own annual events list. Dawn has genuinely spent all her working life in conference and event management and has experience in every element, in many countries, and is well-aware of the subtleties of the ‘global market'. Dawn's know-how enables clients to benefit from the extra touches that make events stand out from their competitors. Dawn worked with Judy for many years at the IBA and then joined JLC in 1999, where her chief responsibilities are for the working programmes, venue and speaker liaison.

Esther Meneses

Esther Meneses graduated in Tourism Management & Marketing in Barcelona and her first job was as the Medal Ceremonies Coordinator at the 1992 Olympics. Thereafter, she joined the sales team at the Ritz Carlton, Barcelona where she gained a valuable insight into venue management, capacities, delegate rates and hotel practices. Esther has worked in almost every aspect of international congress management, organizing and supporting events all around the world. After a long relationship with JLC, Esther also joined the team in January 2010.

Marc Pursals studied law in his hometown Barcelona but was later drawn towards the new conference and events industry that developed after the Olympics in 1992. Working for leading Spanish agencies Viajes Iberia Congresos and Ultramar Event Management, Marc has organised and promoted events for the medical, pharmaceutical and scientific sectors. In 1995, he first worked with JLC as the local DMC in Spain and has collaborated with us extensively since then. Marc has a considerable range of experience in the operational/logistical aspects of conference management and, essentially, having managed client accounts as well, is able to work within tight budgets and meet client expectations. Marc joined JLC officially in January 2010.

Michele Williams

Michele has spent her working life in a financial background starting at Eagle Star Insurance as a Credit Controller in 1988 and later as Debt Recovery Manager at Direct legal & Collections from 1999, where she gained a distinction grade at that the CSA (Credit Services Association) diploma, Michele joined JL ICS in 2009. It is said that Michele is at her happiest crunching numbers on multiple excel spreadsheets and now handles much of the statistical reporting, invoicing and collections for our conference clients. Michele does turn her hand to things other than numbers, usually systems related (scanner and ACC CRM) and onsite registration desk running and setup.
