Elizabeth "Liz" Batista is originally from Guadalajara, Mexico. She is married to Alejandro Batista, a veteran of the United States Navy. Liz is a senior paralegal with the Law Office of Karen Winston where she has developed experience working on a variety of immigration cases including provisional waivers, I-130 petitions, adjustment of status applications, cases involving consular processing, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival (DACA) applications and renewals, U-visas for victims of crime, and T-visas for victims of trafficking. Liz brings smarts, attention to detail, sensitivity, and passion to her work. At the Law Office of Karen Winston, Liz is a paralegal who gives her all to each and every case because of her amazing work ethic and genuine care and concern for our clients.
Florencia "Flor" is originally from Argentina. Flor migrated to the United States when she was just seven years old. Being an immigrant herself, Flor truly understands what it is like to go through the immigration process and she relates to the challenges faced by immigrants. Flor's favorite part of the job is seeing the look on our clients' faces when they receive good news about their cases, knowing that she has helped make a difference in someone's life. Flor enjoys cooking, travelling, and spending time with her fur babies.
Iris Benitez is originally from San Miguel, El Salvador. As a child, Iris immigrated to the United States with her parents. Having experienced the immigration process herself, Iris personally understands the struggles many immigrants face. As a paralegal with the Law Office of Karen Winston, Iris takes great pride in her work, pays close attention to detail, and enjoys assisting clients who are taking their first step towards a better future in America. When Iris is not at the office, she enjoys watersports and exploring the endless Florida beaches.
