George J. Wile established the Local Initiative for Excellence (L.I.F.E.) Foundation in 2014 with a mission to support research to achieve better health outcomes for patients with brain and neurodegenerative disease. This will be accomplished by providing research grants to support innovative research, to sustain productive research teams and to encourage and support investigators in the early part of their career.
