During his diverse career in urban design, master planning and landscape architecture, Bruno Carvalho has been engaged in a wide variety of projects throughout the United States and abroad including the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area, Chicago, Atlanta, West Virginia, California, South Florida, and the Caribbean. As a registered landscape architect in Maryland and Virginia, as well as an AICP certified planner, Bruno is well versed in a broad range of professional design and project management experience including large, multi-disciplinary projects. Prior to founding CGLA in 2009, Bruno led an urban design and landscape architecture group based out of Northern Virginia with a nationally recognized multi-disciplinary firm. His success as a design professional stems from emphasizing a collaborative approach to projects, building long-lasting relationships with clients, and a passion for great design. His career in Architecture started at Stephenson+Good, where he had the opportunity to work alongside Robert Good, his mentor and friend. Mr. Carvalho's work strives to reach the optimum solution for each unique project, with the idea that no two design solutions are alike.
