Doug is a seasoned RA/QA leader with over 35 years of experience and leadership in the healthcare and medical device industry. Prior to joining Innova, Doug most recently served as Head of Quality and Regulatory at Leica Biosystems, where he was responsible for implementing quality, regulatory, and clinical processes and systems for IVDs and medical products. Before that, he held leadership positions in quality, regulatory, and clinical affairs at Sciex Corporation, Philips and LightLab Imaging, a St. Jude Company. Doug earned his M.S. and B.S. degrees in engineering from Washington State University.
Eric Grubel - Chief Commercial Officer
Eric pairs innovation with decades of senior leadership experience at technology-driven firms, including Alcatel-Lucent. He served as CEO and president for Asoka USA Corporation. His key roles at Pasaca Capital and Innova Medical Group, Inc. tap into his proven success of driving growth and profitability by structuring critical partnerships and securing new business with leading global corporations.
Eric earned his Master of Philosophy and International Business and Finance from New York University's School of Business after graduating with Honors with a Bachelor of Science, Computer and Information Sciences, from Queen's University in Canada. Eric also served as an adjunct faculty member at NYU, teaching International Financial Management and International Trade Theory and Commercial Policy.
Guzel brings years of financial and leadership experience in growing and scaling businesses in key financial leadership roles. Prior to joining Innova, Guzel oversaw all finance functions and successfully led finance transformations from start-up stage to multi-billion-dollar IPOs at fast growing technology companies including Procore and Mindbody. Guzel started her career in finance at Deloitte, working on IPOs and M&A transactions in technology, manufacturing, and semi-conductor space. Guzel holds a California CPA license and a B.S. from California State University, Northridge. She also serves on the Advisory Board of Gappify, Inc.
Lourdes leads human resources and people strategy for Innova. She brings over three decades of HR experience in different industries ranging from food, consumer products to private investment firms. Prior to joining Innova, Lourdes served key HR leadership roles such as Chief People Officer and VP, Human Resources in private and public traded companies including ADC Holdings, Mezzetta, Pulmuone Foods USA, Arbonne International. Lourdes earned her B.A. in political science from UC Berkeley. She also serves on the board of Make-A-Wish Orange County and Inland Empire.

Marc has championed successful agile, digital and cloud transformations and has led teams that developed widely used web and mobile Internet of Things (IOT) apps as well as APIs that sit at the heart of some the largest and best-known internet brands. Marc's teams have also earned 2019 and 2020 ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management certifications. Marc joined Innova from Generali Global Assistance, where he served as their CIO. Before that he held IT leadership positions at Ford Motor Company, Science Application International Corporation and Hunter Industries. Marc earned his MBA and B.S. degrees from Indiana University's Kelly School of Business. He also serves on the board of the Boys to Men Youth Mentoring Network.
Mike brings extensive experience in operating businesses as well as in leading digital and strategic transformations of both B2C and B2B companies with leadership positions in various functions. His experience extends across multiple industries with both public and private companies, including emerging start-ups and the U.S. military. Prior to Innova, Mike served in multiple leadership roles at Experian since 2006. Mike holds a master's in public administration from Princeton University and B.A. in international relations from the University of Notre Dame.

- Director of Clinical Programs
Dr. Xu serves as Director of Clinical Programs and is responsible for managing clinical projects that improve global health. Dr. Xu also serves as a bioscience advisor to the Innova leadership team. Earning his Ph.D. at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Dr. Xu focused his research on identifying metalloprotease genes, neuralization, and Wnt signaling pathways.
The Wnt pathway offers clinical importance by studying mutations that lead to various diseases including breast, brain and prostate cancer, and Type 2 diabetes. Robbin has published many papers supporting his earlier research in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. Besides his impressive bioscience research, Dr. Xu has served as a scientific analyst, specializing in biotech investments, for American Compass, Inc. prior to joining Innova.
As a licensed attorney in California and Texas, Robert has played a critical role in private and public start-ups, as well as mergers and acquisitions for both domestic and international clients. Robert's career includes serving as Managing Officer of a multi-national battery manufacturer as well as serving as an officer and/or director of several US-based operating companies. Robert is an experienced executive in regulatory compliance, product commercialization and quality assurance for complex and technical products globally. Robert received his bachelor's degree in Political Science from CSUSB and attended law school at the University of La Verne, College of Law.
Sean joined Innova Medical Group in February of 2021 from Citigroup, where he was most recently the Global Head of Technology Strategy and Solutions. In this role, Rogers created partnerships between established companies and promising startups, and shepherded many high-profile technology companies through capital formation, as well as mergers and acquisitions. As diagnostic medicine moves toward incorporating artificial intelligence and machine learning, Rogers' experience in the field will assure that Innova continues to deliver sophisticated and equitable diagnostic tests. Prior to his career in Investment Banking, Sean was in Sports Marketing and Brand Management at a Leading Consumer Packaged Goods Company. He sits on the Board of Visitors for Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management.
Dr. Malan has built a long record of scientific and medical innovation, both in his most recent role as the Senior Vice President of clinical research at Quantum Material Corporation and through his specialized research in stem cell therapy and regenerative medicine.
He previously served as Chief Medical Officer for iQuantum Labs, founded the investigational research for adipose derived cell therapies at the Center for Regenerative Cell Medicine, and served as Medical Director for adipose tissues services at Celebration Stem Cell Labs in Arizona. He holds board certifications from the American Board of Regenerative Medicine, the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. He earned his medical degree from University of Arizona College of Medicine.
Xavier leads the EMEA market for Innova Medical Group. With a chemical engineering and organic chemistry background, Xavier's accomplishment spans an array of diversified industries including chemicals, pharmaceuticals, environment and energy for Fortune 500 companies as well as startups.
His different tenures in Europe and in the USA have defined him as a thoughtful leader with unique capabilities to manage complex projects through purposeful thinking. Xavier earned his M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Université de Technologie de Compiègne and an M.S. in Organic and Mineral Chemistry from Ecole supérieure de Chimie organique et minérale, Paris.
