I've worked at large and small companies including Expedia, InfoSpace, Comcast, eNom, and more, mostly doing product management and marketing management. I've also been a part of a few startups over the years including CoachPlace.com. I've been blessed to work with some amazing product teams which have delivered some solid wins that I'm proud of. I've also learned a few hard-earned lessons that I bring to every challenge... When I describe product management to my mom, I explain that a product manager is there to help us take the resources we have and build the right things for the right audience at the right time. I'm also there to do whatever it takes to make sure everyone feels connected and informed while avoiding any disasters... I love product management because I get to work with people across the whole organization to move us forward. At the same time, I am able to get out in the field and see the impact of what we do for customers and partners.
