PRAIRIESUN ORGANIC POULTRY

We are so happy you stopped by. Prairiesun Organics is a small scale family farm located in SE South Dakota certified organic by MOSA. We raise Dexter cows for milk and meat, row crops, vegetables, laying hens for eggs, and broiler chickens for meat. Our chickens are processed in our on-farm processing facility certified organic to the NOP by MOSA. Processed birds are sold as whole frozen, packaged, and labeled... We raise our poultry on legume enriched pasture supplemented with certified organic grains. Our birds are vegetarian-fed and provided a happy shady place to rest, eat, and play with just the right amount of sunshine. Whole Chicken is $3.80/lb. Nutrition Label... We process our meat birds in a brand new on-farm certified organic processing plant using Featherman Pro equipment. Birds are humanely slaughtered on farm under clean, controlled conditions for food safety and high meat quality. Our plant undergoes annual inspection by MOSA.
