Scott is a Zerobit1 Security Planning Consultant subject matter expert. Scott's hands on security industry advisory service experience spans across multiple verticals which include manufacturing, critical infrastructure and property management sector.
Scott has previously worked as a network design specialist with Intercon Security Limited. During Scott's time at Intercon Security he was responsible for IP security solution design services for major projects in the banking sector, federal and provincial government, Canada Border Services Agency, Public Works Government Services, Rogers, Telus, Ontario Power Generation, Toronto Hydro, Hydro One Networks and Bruce Power. Scott has achieved multiple industry certifications from Microsoft, Linux, Mac OS, Cisco, HP and DELL.
Throughout Scott's career, he has served as a sales engineer and technical sales representative with Indigo Vision, Sony, iView Systems Compliance and Reporting Software and G4S Secure Solutions Canada. Scott has achieved multiple vendor technical certifications across the Access Control, Intrusion Detection, IP Video Surveillance industry.
Continual education are key components of Scott's professional growth as Scott continually seeks educational opportunities from vendors on emerging technologies and is pursuing an ASIS Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification.
Scott's security industry experience, coupled with a solution centric consultative process allows him to develop and manage security solution implementations that meet and exceed organizational standards while operating within defined budgets. Scott is a prominent private security and investigations professional noted for his experience in the areas of threat-risk assessment, mitigation, organizational and training needs assessment and corporate security reviews. He is a dual-licensed Investigator in Ontario.
He holds certificates in both Adult Education and Investigative Sciences and Police Studies, through Seneca College, achieved with High Honours as well as certification in Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED). Scott is dedicated to advising clients and helping them create best in class security programs.

Terence is a Zerobit1 Security Planning Consultant subject matter expert. Terence has over twenty-five years of industry experience in the design, management and deployment of large scale, integrated security systems combined with a solid understanding of evolving IP based security technology.
Terence holds a postgraduate diploma in Electronics, and is currently working towards achieving his ASIS Physical Security Professional (PSP) designation and upgrading his Microsoft Certifications. Terence possess numerous industry manufacturer certifications in the Access Control and IP Video Surveillance industry combined with being fully versed in a variety of design software platforms including AutoCAD, Visio, Sketchup and Revit.
Terence spent his early career with Intercon Security Limited. When Intercon was purchased by ADT and became ADT Advanced Integration he was one of a select few employees who were designated as critical to the on-going success of ISL and ADT and was tasked with the development of the National Pre-Sales Support team, which he managed for Canada, a role that continued when the company reorganized into Tyco Integrated Security. Throughout his career he has led the design efforts on some of the largest security systems in Canada. Projects include, but are not limited to, Toronto Hydro, Hydro One Networks, Royal Bank of Canada Retail, Royal Bank of Canada Cash Operations, Shell Canada - Albian Sands, Shell Canada - Scotchford Refinery, Vancouver Skytrain/Canada Line, Rogers Communications, Telus, OpenText - Windsor, Equinix, and Canada Post.
Terence was also responsible for developing and delivering Tyco Integrated technical training on a national level along with the development and implementation of National Product and Installation standards for internal and external use.
Terence's broad knowledge and experience allows him to look objectively at a set of client requirements and apply the right mix of technology, policy, and manpower to ensure an efficient and effective solution is developed that will satisfy a client's objectives, both short and long term.
Terry Hoffman, CPP, CBCP is a long-standing and widely respected figure in Canada's security management scene.
The founder and former head of Hoffman & Company Security Management Consultants Inc., Terry spent 15 years as lead consultant on some of the most demanding, complex security issues faced by federal, provincial, and territorial governments, energy companies, educational institutions, corporations, retail, and Global 2000 organizations.
Combining his years of experience with a passion for ongoing training and development, Terry is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and internationally recognized Certified Business Continuity Professional (C.B.C.P.). He holds a postgraduate diploma from Georgian College, with honours, in Cyberspace Security. He is also certified in Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED) by the Peel Regional Police and is a licensed Security Consultant in the Provinces of British Columbia and Quebec.
