MANOR HOUSE GROUP - Key Persons
Amy has been part of the Manor House team since 2010. She has over 20 years' experience working in early years and holds a level 4 in children's care and education. Amy has a real passion for ensuring high quality childcare is provided within all our settings and the wellbeing of our children, staff and our families are paramount. Amy works closely with Jayne and Sean supporting the managers across the Manor House Group ensuring the best possible service for our community and maintaining our outstanding practice for children.
Jayne has numerous qualifications in childcare and in assessing childcare as well as a level 3 in Forest School. She is a qualified Safeguarding and Child Protection trainer and has over 20 years experience within the nursery and child minding industries. Described as the ‘heart and soul' of the Manor House Group, Jayne ensures high quality in both the nursery and forest school, by teaching staff to look after children as if they were their own. Jayne looks after the 80+ staff and all operational matters within the nursery and forest school. Jayne has a team of Managers to ensure each and every area of the nursery and forest school is led well by highly qualified and experienced professionals.
Louise joined the team at Manor House Kindergarten in January 2021, whilst finishing her master's degree. She joined the setting with seven years of childcare experience and took over as Kindergarten Manager in June 2021. Louise is passionate about the importance of early childhood education and care, and ensuring it is child-centred with ample opportunity for play and varied outdoor experiences. Louise works closely with the managers at Manor House Nursery School in Margate site to provide continuity of care for our children who access both nurseries.
Louise also manages our Forest School holiday club, she leads her team of staff and together they ensure a fantastic experience is had by 100's of children each year.
Rebekah deals with our brand marketing, business development and forest school bookings.
She found Manor House Nursery School when looking for a nursery for her first child. At the time, she was a Senior Sales Executive for Heart Radio and helped us grow the brand awareness of our nursery using a successful on-air and on-line campaign.
Sean runs the business side of the whole Manor House Group, including the nursery and forest school and Kindergarten, his background working initially in finance has proven invaluable. Following that, Sean worked as a Customs Officer for several years. He and Jayne converted their first nursery in 1999, and Sean has always been the ‘driver' of new ideas and projects that have ensured Manor House settings are as high quality as they can be. Sean manages the land and buildings, the health and safety and finances and forward progression of all Manor House business
Stuart has worked at Manor House since we opened our nursery doors in 2008. Working with Jayne and Sean, Stuart successfully implemented the Forest School programme into nursery for our pre-school children. We soon saw the amazing benefits to the forest school programme and Stuart spearheaded the expansion of Forest school. He plays a huge part in what we are able to deliver to our nursery and kindergarten children and older children around our community through working with schools.
Stuart has many qualifications that help him to provide such fantastic education to children and adults including a BA Hons in Early Years Leadership, Foundation Degree in Early Years education, Paediatric first aid and outdoor first aid. Stuart also has a level 4 in forest school training, delivering a variety of programmes to adults who can then take this wonderful practice to many more children.
