I'm Ann and I advise a variety of clients on various aspects of direct taxes. I started my career as an auditor and qualified as an accountant over 20 years ago. However, I felt that my real vocation was in tax as I believe helping clients save tax would be more rewarding whilst challenging as tax is forever changing. I enjoy the different complexities of clients' affairs and navigating the tax legislation to achieve the most tax-efficient outcome. Providing a range of tax services for companies, individuals, and entrepreneurs, understanding that tax planning is not just about one tax but ensuring the relationship between all of the taxes for companies that might affect entrepreneurs and vice versa. It is important that I build lasting relationships and my focus on service delivery reflects this.

I'm Caroline, and I head up the firm, along with Maria. The two of us work hard to make sure that Beever and Struthers stays close to its roots. Providing our clients with a service that's friendly, no-nonsense - and definitely not short on expertise.
What this means is that I help our clients develop their businesses through a wide range of audit, accounting and tax compliance issues - advising on best practice and being a "level head" when it comes to business strategy, structuring or governance.
I'm Catherine and I provide cyber, data and project audit and advisory services. Our team makes sure that our clients observe strong disciplines in securing their systems and data and apply a structured approach to deliver projects on time and within budget.
I'm Chris and I am an Internal Audit Manager within the Risk Assurance and Advisory Team (RAA), where my role is to ensure that our clients receive excellent Risk Assurance and Advisory Services. I work exclusively with not-for-profit organisations which includes, charities, multi academy trusts and housing providers.

Hi, I am Emma, a Senior Manager within our external audit team. Since joining the firm in 2015, I have built up a portfolio of clients primarily looking after those within the not-for-profit sector, including charities and social housing providers.

I'm Fran and I am Head of the Corporate Recovery and Insolvency team. With over 30 years of experience, I am well placed to advise distressed businesses on their options and to undertake all types of formal insolvency work, providing bespoke solutions. In 2014 I became a North West region committee member of R3 Association of Business Recovery Professionals and was later appointed as its Chair in 2022.
I'm George and I'm a director with a national portfolio of clients. My role at the firm generally covers all things audit (both external and internal), as well as service charge examinations, special investigations, and consultancy work. This means that on Monday I might be signing off accounts and on Wednesday leading a specialist rent investigation, there is never a dull week. I work largely with housing providers from the smallest co-operatives to some of the largest groups with listed debt. I enjoy helping my clients in any way I can.

I'm Helen, and I'm a Partner in our Risk, Assurance and Advisory team (previously known as internal audit!). I'm the Head of Department, working closely with my fellow Partners, Lee, Narinder and Michael and Director Helen, to ensure we work to one methodology across all our offices and consistently provide our national portfolio of clients with a friendly and high-quality service.
My approach is that internal audit should be one of your team and is an essential support for executive and non-executive directors in understanding how well the business is running ‘on the ground'. ‘Critical friend' might sound like a cheesy phrase, but that very much is how I like to work. And not always critical. Sometimes positive assurance is just as valuable.
