Born in the heart of Veneto region, land of ancient manufacturing traditions in glass, ceramics, wood, marble and textile fields, after achieving a technical education, he began his professional path precisely in the textile sector, as a leather and fabrics production plants tester in Europe and China, during the second half of the ‘80s... Then he entered glass and ceramics fields, with SAFF s.r.l., by testing kilns for firing handmade products in Italy, France and former Yugoslavia... Thanks to this experience, he will start his long collaboration with Johnson Matthey Ltd - a British multinational company that deals with sustainable technologies - where, in charge at the Speciality Coatings division, he will first work as Sales Executive and then Sales Manager for Southern Europe.
