At Douglas Orchard & Farm, our mission is to supply the community access to the freshest, naturally grown produce and local products. Our main focus is on sustainability, permaculture, diversity, renewable energy and recycling. Our standard practice is not to use synthetic chemical pesticides, herbicides, synthetic fertilizers, antibiotics or hormones. Remember, BUY LOCAL!... Your picking experience will be lots of fun for the openminded. During apple picking season we offer our own unpasteurized apple cider, apple cider donuts made fresh and farm animals to see. In September and October we will have mums and pumpkins for sale... Apple and blueberry orchard. Growing vegetables, mushrooms and herbs using permaculture practices, natural fertilizers and NO SPRAY. Bee hives supply us with raw honey. Farm raised pork, chicken, lamb and rabbit. Locally grown and farm fresh is what we offer to the community. Come experience Agri-Tourism in Douglas right here at our farm.
