FIRLAND - Key Persons
Christopher joined Firland in 2016 and comes with an extensive (25+ years) background in working in Boeing Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement for the aerospace industry. He is in charge of all CAPA projects and investigates all component failures and reports on all Quality Metrics.
Chris is our new product's planning manager and works on new product requirements and releases for all CMP and POP parts. He also plans all Work Orders for repeat CMP Work orders. Chris joined Firland in 2010.

is a Pulmonary and Critical Care physician. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Washington, completed Internal Medicine residency at the University of Chicago, and Pulmonary/Critical Care fellowship at the University of Washington. In addition to his clinical work at Northwest Hospital and Medical Center, he serves as a Clinical Instructor in the University of Washington Department of Medicine. He specializes in treating all forms of lung disease, but has a special interest in tuberculosis (TB). He developed his initial interest in TB while working internationally in Haiti prior to Pulmonary/Critical Care fellowship. Currently, as a staff physician in the TB Control Program for Seattle and King County, he cares for patients with active and latent TB, and conducts epidemiologic research related to TB.

is a pulmonologist who focuses on improving outcomes for cancer patients who have respiratory failure and lung complications related to their cancer treatments. She is developing new ways to prevent lung damage and improve lung function in these patients. Dr. Cheng's main interest is bronchiolitis obliterans syndrome, a serious complication of blood stem cell transplantation. She also studies the role of respiratory viruses and other infectious pathogens in lung disease in patients with compromised immune

Elic took over the Master scheduling role in early 2017 and supports the on-time delivery commitments for all Jobs moving thru the Firland Workshop. He daily provides updates to Boeing and all other customers along with setting the priorities for all shop departments.

Matt assumed the role of CEO effective Oct, 2017. He has served as the COO for the past several years and has been instrumental in driving process and systems improvement across Firland. He is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the metals industry ranging from fabrication to primary steel making and large open die forge operations serving aerospace, commercial, oil and gas, nuclear and marine markets. He is a proven leader with a strong cross functional business education and work experience including Business Planning, Sales, Operations Planning, Capital Planning, Project Management, Asset Management and ERP Information Systems Planning including Finesse and Oracle Applications implementation, upgrades and ongoing enhancements
Mike Lee joined Firland in 2013 and has taken over the implementation of our MRP upgrade project and Materials Management. Mike comes with some 20 years experience in related Materials Management activities.

currently serves as the Vice President of the Board of Directors. Tim is currently a Senior Vice President/Relationship Manager with a local commercial bank - Puget Sound Bank located in Bellevue. Mr. Baer has been in the banking business since 1987. Prior to Puget Sound Bank, Tim was a Senior Vice President at Foundation Bank. Tim started his banking career with Rainer Bank in 1987 completing the bank's year-long comprehensive commercial lending training program. After that, he moved into Rainer's National Banking Group. Soon thereafter with Rainer Bank being purchased by Bank of America, Tim moved into middle market lending at Bank of America and to National Bank of Alaska gaining experience and a solid knowledge base in a wide range of industries including seafood, contractors, and distribution. Before Foundation Bank, Tim was with Banner Bank as a Senior Vice President and Team Leader of its Corporate Banking Group. Tim has a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Washington and an MBA from the University of Washington. He grew up in Tacoma and lives in Issaquah and is married with four children.

is a Firland Board returnee, having originally joined in 2002, but interrupted by a two year change in location at Cleveland while he was employed with Phillips Healthcare Operations. He rejoins as chair of the Operations committee and Secretary of the board. In his day job, Tim is employed at Virginia Mason as the Director of Supply Chain Operations. He lives with his wife and two children in Seattle.
