As the Agency Founder and Principal Investigator of Harrington Investigations, R. Shane Harrington, PhD, MBA, has become one of today's elite. While Investigator Harrington continues coordinating and conducting intelligence gathering, investigative, and mitigation services throughout the Pacific Northwest, he has worked fervently to narrow his focus.
Today, he specializes primarily in criminal defense investigation and mitigation consulting. Investigator Harrington is an analyst, field investigator, and mitigation researcher who has concentrated his post-doctoral studies, research efforts, and practical experience on optimizing strategies and improving techniques in the field of Forensic Interviewing.
In doing so, he utilizes a hybrid approach. This integrates principles of Investigative Psychology and Forensic Victimology, along with varying theories of why people report and perceivably commit certain types of crime. Investigator Harrington uses this to substantiate a more concise investigative strategy for the cases assigned. He also uses this approach to provide mitigation support when necessary to effectively communicate the applicable complexities of trauma to an intended audience.
