We also work closely with our Federal partners in the Department of Health and Human Services: Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC), and Administration for Community Living (ACL), as well as key legislative offices and committees on Capitol Hill. AMDA is an active member of the National Quality Forum, and of a number of important coalitions in aging, including Advancing Excellence, the Leadership Council on Aging Organizations, the Eldercare Workforce Alliance, the Dementia Action Alliance, and others...
