Vincent Maccaro is a Certified Piano Technician of the Piano Technicians Guild. Vincent began as a piano performance major at Shenandoah Conservatory of Music in Virginia. He was introduced to the piano technology department and decided to change his pursuit to the tuning, repair and maintenance of acoustic pianos. Vincent graduated with a degree in Piano Technology in 1981. His expertise includes all aspects of piano servicing. He tunes by ear alone, which allows the nuances of the piano to be felt and heard. With 46 years of piano tuning experience, Vincent is well versed in piano design and construction and has worked on thousands of pianos including Steinway, Yamaha, Kawai, Boston, Baldwin, Bösendorfer, Schimmel, Bechstein, Bluthner, Petrof, Ibach, Grotrian, Mason & Hamlin and others. Vincent's customers include performing artists, pianists, recording artists, performance venues, theaters, concert halls, recording studios, schools, churches, and houses of worship, as well as many individuals who have Vincent tune their pianos on a regular basis. Vincent Maccaro is bonded and insured. He is a Registered Piano Technician and a Member of the Piano Technicians Guild.
