After graduating magna cum laude with a degree in physics from Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Dr. Sheppard went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Alabama (UAB) in Birmingham... During his education and training, Dr. Sheppard served as a teaching assistant both in the physics department at Georgia Tech and the anatomy department at UAB.
