Janis Raye

Janis leads the operations of Raphel Marketing projects, including website development, publishing, and direct marketing programs. Janis is co-author of four books on marketing and business, including The Complete Idiot's Guide to a Successful Family Business (2009) and Business Success in Tough Times (2009). Janis has an MBA from Columbia University and a BA from Wellesley College.

Neil Raphel

Neil is one of the founders of Raphel Marketing, with a 30-year background in direct marketing. He started several divisions of the company, including Brigantine Media (publishing division) and Supermarket College (annual marketing conference for the supermarket industry). Neil has co-authored seven books, including Business Success in Tough Times (2009), The Complete Idiot's Guide to a Successful Family Business (2009), and Up the Loyalty Ladder (1995). Neil has a background in finance and law, and was president of a trading firm in New York City. He is a graduate of Swarthmore College and the University of Texas Law School.
