George Clark - Managing Director

George started at Quantum in May 1989, approximately 1 year after the company was launched. His main areas of specialty are catastrophic claims, personal injury, product liability, pharmaceutical cases, breach of contract, professional negligence and medical negligence. George has worked extensively on a wide range of landmark cases over the years and had involvement in the Piper Alpha disaster, Ocean Odyssey, Lockerbie and continues to be involved in many significant incidents up to and including most recently Mesh implant litigation in Scotland. Away from work George is a keen sportsman still participating in golf and following semi professional football wherever he can.

Gerry Forbes

Job Titles:
  • Senior Claims Manager
Gerry has an insurance background and joined Quantum Claims in 1998. He has an interest in all personal injury matters, including medical negligence, industrial disease and fatal accident claims. Gerry also has an interest in gambling law and was recently successful in a claim against a Gibraltar based gaming company. Outside of work Gerry enjoys family life, most sports and is a keen poker player.

Janette Lefevre

Job Titles:
  • Personal Assistant
Janette Previously worked in the City of London and located to Aberdeen in 92/93. Janette was the office Manager at Nationwide Expert Witness Ltd (N.E.W.S Ltd) having assisted setting up and running the company. She joined Quantum Claims in 2017 as a PA to assist with case file administration. Out of work Janette enjoys spending time with her family, especially travelling and shopping, and also enjoys a good rom-com movie.

Jenny Cameron

Job Titles:
  • Financial Manager
Jenny joined Quantum Claims in January 2014 after 30 years working as an office and accounts manager in the stationary trade. Jenny is the Financial Manager and is responsible for the day to day operation of the company's accounting systems. Jenny also assists the Administration team. Away from work Jenny enjoys spending time with her family and walks with her cockapoo dog Oscar.

John Symon

Job Titles:
  • Director
John joined Quantum Claims in August 1991 and deals with all areas of personal injury and compensation claims, including those caused at work and by road traffic accident. He specialises in brain injury and fatal cases, as well as the categories of medical and professional negligence claims. He has been involved in cases and legal actions involving multiple claimants such as those involving the Braer oil pollution disaster and Ministry of Defence pregnancy dismissal claims, to more recently historic child abuse and vehicle emissions claims, also having been involved with decisions taken to the House of Lords/Supreme Court. Outside of work John enjoys travel, hill walking, playing golf and watching football.

Julie Lefevre

  • Office Manager
Julie commenced her employment with Quantum when it was launched in 1988. Prior to that she completed a Diploma in Art & Design and worked in this field until joining Quantum as a receptionist and P.A. to the directors of the company, which she combines with her duties as Office Manager. Outside of work Julie enjoys walks with her cocker spaniel Kiki, keeping fit, travelling and the arts.

Margaret Gribbon

Margaret is our Glasgow based employment Solicitor and has worked part time with Quantum since January 2010. Margaret has over 20 years experience litigating a wide range of employment disputes in the employment tribunal, EAT and civil courts and was involved in the Quantum backed Supreme Court case of Ravat v Halliburton Manufacturing and Services Limited[2012] UKSC 1 Margaret has a particular interest in sex discrimination and whistleblowing claims. Outside of work Margaret enjoys non-fiction reading, running, current affairs and spas!

Moira Greig

Job Titles:
  • Personal Assistant
Moira was born and bred in Stonehaven and previously worked with the Police force in Administration, before joining Quantum in 2017. As well as working on reception, Moira also works as a PA with the administration team. Out with work she enjoys spending time with the family, going out for meals and listening to music.

Paul Lefevre

  • Director
Paul worked in the City of London before joining Quantum Claims in Septembe r 1992. Paul's areas of interest are employment law, medical negligence, and pharmaceutical litigation. Paul has been involved in several House of Lords/Supreme Court cases including Spencer-Frank v Kellog Brown and Root Limited & Others, Ravat v Halliburton Manufacturing & Services Limited, Hewage v Grampian Health Board and Grant v International Insurance Company of Hanover Limited. Outside work Paul enjoys travel and spending time with his family.

Tracey Lefevre

Tracey joined Quantum in 2000 from a business background. Her area of expertise is Personal Injury, including Fatality and Medical Negligence cases.
