She has been instrumental in preparing several different type of MEP documents with our team.

Edgar Garcia

Edgar Garcia was born and raised in Tamaulipas, México. While pursuing a degree in architecture from the Tecnológico Nacional de México - Nuevo Laredo, he also worked for Grupo Acetre SA de CV, an urban planning and construction company in México. His career in architecture started with an independent architect designing residential projects before joining a MEP firm in Houston in 2008. Edgar focused on plumbing design and development in commercial buildings, school and healthcare facilities and high-rise condominiums. Over a 10-year period, Edgar worked in the design and development of complex electrical systems for an independent electrical engineer. He joined A&G Engineering in 2019 and is currently the Lead MEP Designer. Like all staff members, Edgar supports our founding principle that while the client relationship may start with the engineering design process, it extends beyond it.

Lorena Madrigal

Lorena Madrigal was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley. Lorena's introduction into the field of engineering started in education, first teaching and then administration. Before joining A & G, she was a STEM educator and department team leader responsible for promoting interest in hands-on activities for students. Upon receiving her masters degree, Lorena pursued a leadership role in education influencing teaching and learning on a much wider scale. Before joining A&G, she was the principal of a STEM school and was instrumental in creating pathways for students enriched with an engineering curriculum to obtain industry based certifications. His first position in the field was with the Aero-Derivative Power Generation Division of the General Electric corporation. As Luis worked with industrial gas turbines, he learned the principles behind fluid dynamics, cooling load/transfer analysis, and high voltage load calculations. Upon qualifying as a licensed professional engineer, Luis started A&G Engineering. Our MEP design projects range from small 800 sq ft structure remodels, medium 40,000 sq ft shopping plazas, to large 400,000 sq ft aerospace production facilities. The company incorporates his own personal belief that while the client relationship may start with the engineering design process, it extends beyond it. He is one of forty engineers in the nation to be a part of the NCEES ME Committee tasked with creating FE exam questions required for PE licensing and one of sixteen engineers in the nation to be part of the NCEES Architectural Engineering Committee tasked with creating the PE exam.
