Established in 2015, as a Science Foundation Ireland research centre, CÚRAM is now a world-leading Irish medical device research centre based out of University of Galway. We aim to be the 'go-to' Centre for undertaking medical device research. Our research focuses on understanding and treating global chronic diseases... We partner with local small-an-medium enterprises (SMEs), and multinational medical devices and pharmaceutical companies to increase employment in Ireland. The successful collaborative partnerships established through our industry research programme indicate the signficant value generate for industry through collaboration with CÚRAM. Our researchers focus on bioengineering approaches for repair and remodelling, improved drug delivery solutions, and superior medical implant designs to treat chronic diseases...
