Curiocity is a Kochi based design company, which uses art and design to promote local culture and celebrate the sense of a place. Curiocity is an ongoing quest for whatever makes a place unique, distinctive and cherished; the culture, history, the narratives of writers and artists, those cherished in folktales and festivals but dismissed in everyday sightings. We craft the invisible weave of intangible identities of a place into objects and experiences which people can carry along as memories. We are constantly striving to nudge people into starting conversations in a new language of visual culture and seek to preserve the genius loci-the spirit of spaces... Curiocity is a design expression which aims to bring out the identity of a place in attractive terms without being mawkish or cliched.This is a result of a creative wanderlust that seeks beauty in the everyday,humdrum life and turns it around to create objects with value and aesthetics.
