Adam Helm joined DK Arndt P.C. in 2012 when DK Arndt acquired TSB Bank's tax practice in Titonka. Adam worked as a tax preparer for TSB since 2007 specializing in individual farm tax returns. In 2006, Adam graduated with B.A. in Finance from Waldorf College. Outside of tax season, Adam and his wife Trista farm in the Woden and Crystal Lake areas along with their children: Hailey, Reagyn and Toby.
Amanda joined the D.K. Arndt team in January of 2022. She is a CPA having earned her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Northern Iowa before successfully passing the exams. Amanda has been working in public accounting since 2011 and brings a vast amount of experience in tax preparation, tax planning, bookkeeping, and payroll services. She enjoys working with business owners, farmers, truckers, and individuals to offer the best solutions for their specific needs. Amanda lives near Goldfield with her husband, Jeff. They have two active daughters, Amelia and Eliza, that keep Amanda and Jeff on their toes. Besides playing with their girls, Amanda enjoys a good cup of coffee with a book, camping, and hobby photography.

Betty has been a member of the DK Arndt team since October 2010. She is a CPA and shareholder in the firm. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the American Institute of Business, Des Moines but also holds an Associate Degree in Computer Programming. Betty brings a vast amount of experience in working with farmers, small businesses, employer payroll taxes, and individual tax returns. She is an active member of the Belmond community, a financial advisor on the New Lyric Theatre Board, and lector at St. Francis Xavier Parish. She loves to spend time with her family. Some of her hobbies include kayaking, biking, and reading. She and her husband, Todd, have two grown sons and are adjusting to life as empty nesters!
Chad joined D.K. Arndt, P.C. in October 2009 after working for the City of Forest City. Chad enjoys sports and attending his children's sporting events. Chad lives in Forest City with his wife, Stacy. They have 3 children: Tyler, Hannah and Emma.
Dave has been a CPA since 1982 and has been involved with financial services since 1989. Dave specializes primarily in business tax consulting. Dave lives in Greene with his wife, Molly. He enjoys golfing, biking and attending his grandchildren's activities.
David has been a certified public accountant since 1984. He began his career in Minneapolis, MN where he became the manager of a regional certified public accounting firm. He moved to Forest City in 1992 and he acquired the CPA firm in 1994 and incorporated the firm under the name D.K. Arndt, P.C. in 1996. He is the managing shareholder of D.K. Arndt, P.C. He is a believer that opportunity comes from the work you put forth and he strives to provide high quality accounting and income tax services to our clients.
David volunteers his services to several local organizations and causes. He is the treasurer of Forest City Education Foundation, the local movie theatre, and he is a board member of the Forest City Economic Development. He was a past president of Rotary International Club in Forest City. In 2016 he received the John K. and Louise V. Hanson Lifetime Achievement Award for his years of service to the community.
Deena has worked for D.K. Arndt, P.C. since 1998. She is responsible for client bookkeeping and payroll processing services. Deena lives in Forest City with her husband Jeff. They have 3 children and 4 grandsons. Zach lives in Washington with his wife Shanie and 3 sons . Alec is in the Air Force and lives in Montana with his wife Nicole. Molly lives in Forest City with her husband Jake and their son Colson. Deena and Jeff enjoy traveling and spending time with their children and grandchildren.
Doug joined D.K. Arndt, P.C. in November 2006. Prior to becoming a staff member with the company, Doug owned and operated Midwest Tax and Accounting in Lake Mills. Doug also possesses many years of accounting experience in private industry. Doug has two grown sons and lives in Lake Mills with his wife Shannon.
Gus joined D.K. Arndt P.C. in 1999 and passed his CPA exam in February 2000. Gus works with a number of individual and corporate clients. In January 2004, he became a minority shareholder in the company. Gus has served on several boards of non-profit organizations and donates his time to the community of Garner. Gus lives in Garner and spends much of his time with his three children. Clay works with Winnebago Industries, Kailyn and Camren both attend Garner Hayfield Ventura Community School District. In his free time, Gus enjoys golf and spending time with his children.
Lori has been with D.K. Arndt, P.C. since 1998. She is responsible for client bookkeeping and payroll processing services. Lori lives on an acreage outside of Forest City with her husband Jeff. She enjoys spending her time with her family and enjoys farm and country life: campfires, Ranger rides, gardening and farm animals.
Miranda is originally from southern Minnesota and moved to Iowa in 2018. She worked in the banking industry until coming to DK Arndt in Belmond in 2021. She thoroughly enjoys working with clients, assisting them with their bookkeeping and payroll solutions. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and will then sit for the CPA exams. She admits: "Yes, I am living and breathing Accounting!" In her "spare time" she likes to travel to Minnesota as much as possible to see her five younger siblings and two Godchildren. She has three dogs, a yellow lab, a terrier/Pitbull mix, and a German shorthair pointer, that keep her busy and she loves spending time with friends and family. She explains: "I am slowly but surely improving my cooking skills by trying new recipes. I also like to spend my time on the lake either swimming, fishing, or camping, and have recently been introduced to deer and turkey hunting thanks to my husband."
Nicole joined the D.K Arndt, P.C. team as Executive Administrator in 2021. Her expertise covers a wide range of duties including scheduling, bookkeeping, payroll, expenses, and assisting with the management of the firm. In her spare time Nicole enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her little family includes her husband, Nicolas, and their three kids: MacKenzie, Brantley and Asher. As a family they like to be outdoors hiking, camping and sitting by the fire. When they aren't spending time outside, they are enjoying movies or playing games. If Nicole isn't watching her kids' activities, you can find her with a good book or baking. Nicole also keeps busy with her church teaching Promiseland and most recently has become a board member of BrickStreet Theatre.
Ray has been working in the field of public accounting for the past 40 years with a primary emphasis in individual and business income taxes. He joined DK Arndt, PC in 2005.
Sam graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a bachelor's degree in Accounting and a minor in Ethics and obtained her CPA license in 2009. She joined D.K Arndt, P.C. in 2021 and brought experience in bookkeeping, payroll services, tax preparation, and tax planning for a variety of clients. She truly enjoys the relationships formed with clients and being able to help them focus their efforts on what they do best. Over the years Sam has been involved in several organizations in the community and is currently a member of the Winnebago County Fair Board. Sam resides on a small farm near Thompson, where she specializes in raising heritage pigs. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially her son and bonus-daughter, working with her animals, reading, and eating delicious meals prepared by her husband.
