Abigail Barnes

Dr. Barnes is a licensed optometrist and member of the Illinois Optometric Association, the West Suburban Optometric Association and American Optometric Association. After completing her undergraduate degree in Biology at North Central College in Naperville, IL she went to optometry school at the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry. As a student, Dr. Barnes was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. She was also a recipient of the William Feinbloom Award for Low Vision Excellence, the Alcon Case Study Award, and the UMSL College of Optometry Student Ambassador Award. In addition to practicing primary care optometry, Dr. Barnes interests include ocular disease and complex refractive management. She has been practicing in the western suburbs since 2007. In addition to practicing optometry, Dr. Barnes stays busy with her husband and 3 children and frequently volunteers at the Hesed House in Aurora.

Caroline Barajas

Dr. Barajas joined Colorado Eye Center in February 2019. She attended the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and received her Bachelor of Science in Biology as well as her Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She received clinical honors during her externships and continues to be an active member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Society.

Charles Curry

Following five years of private practice in Indiana, and years of Rehoboth Beach family vacations, Dr. Curry joined the Delaware Eye Institute in January 2007. Since that time he has established himself as a caring and skilled practitioner. His practice ranges from the surgical treatment of cataracts, to the medical treatment of such ailments as glaucoma and diabetic eye disease to ongoing and preventive care through routine eye exams. Dr. Curry trained in ophthalmology at Wake Forest School of Medicine in North Carolina. "Wake was a hands-on program that allowed us to care for our own patients while we were there. It also gave us great access to the faculty." Following residency, Dr. Curry became certified with the American Board of Ophthalmology in 2003. During his career, Dr. Curry has witnessed great improvements in the technology of eye care. "I believe that ophthalmology has benefited more than most other specialties when it comes to surgical and diagnostic technology." Dr. Curry utilizes modern technologies such as Optical Coherence Tomography for diagnosis and White Star Phacoemulsification for cataract surgery.

David Robinson

Dr. Robinson is the founder and Medical Director of the Delaware Eye Institute. He is a board-certified ophthalmologist providing comprehensive eye care services, specializing in no-stitch cataract surgery, glaucoma and laser surgery. He received his undergraduate and medical degree from Duke University. After a one year medical/surgical internship, he then completed three additional years of subspecialty training in eye surgery at the Duke Eye Center. He has performed over 20,000 eye surgical procedures, published numerous articles on the management of eye diseases, developed innovative new designs for microsurgical instrumentation, and lectures internationally on no-stitch cataract surgery.

Dr. Ahmed Abdelsalam

Dr. Ahmed Abdelsalam, our friend, our colleague, and EyeCare Services Partners CMO passed suddenly and unexpectedly in late September. He was a wealth of knowledge and wisdom to all who knew him. He made us all smarter, wiser, and kinder. He can never be replaced, and will always be missed. Please join us in prayers and thoughts for his wife of 30 years and two children. They lost a husband, a father and a great family man.

Dr. Amy Zimmerman

A third generation ophthalmologist, Dr. Amy Zimmerman brings more than 23 years of eye-care experience to the practice. Dr. Zimmerman spent her undergraduate years at Johns Hopkins University, and graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and completed an internship in internal medicine at Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC). She then went on to complete her ophthalmology residency at the University of Maryland Medical System and Shock Trauma, where she served as Chief Resident from 1993 to 1994. Dr. Zimmerman currently heads the ophthalmology rotation for the Franklin Square Family Medicine Residents and serves as ophthalmology consultant to Medstar Franklin Square Hospital Center. She currently serves on the Ophthalmology Council for Medstar. She also consults at Genesis Eldercare Franklin Woods Nursing Home. Each year, Dr. Zimmerman gives the ophthalmology lectures to the first-year Physician Assistant students at Community College Baltimore County, Essex, and has both PA students and PA's from the hospital shadowing her in the office to learn physical exam skills. Throughout the years, Dr. Zimmerman's work has appeared in the American Journal of Ophthalmology. A Baltimore magazine Top Doc (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016) in ophthalmology, Dr. Zimmerman resides in Crownsville, Maryland, just outside Annapolis with her husband and two young boys.

Dr. Barratt L. Phillips

Dr. Barratt L. Phillips is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been practicing since 1995 and joined Inland Eye Specialists in 1999. He treats medical and surgical diseases of the eye and specializes in cataract surgery and refractive surgery. Dr. Phillips completed his medical degree at The University of Utah and his Ophthalmology training at Loma Linda University. He received the Utah Medical Association's Outstanding Student Scholarship and scored in the top 10 percentile in the American Academy of Ophthalmology examination. Dr. Phillips is a member of the American Association of Ophthalmology, California Association of Ophthalmology, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He has given many presentations nationally and internationally and has had scientific papers published in such prestigious journals as Ophthalmic Surgery and Lasers, Ophthalmology, and the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.

Dr. Brett Katzen

Preparing to follow in his father's footsteps, Dr. Brett Katzen obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware, graduating magna cum laude in 1984. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in 1988 and completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Brett officially joined the Katzen Eye Group in 1992, although he was a familiar sight at the practice long before then. Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology since 1993, Dr. Katzen serves as a Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and is specialty board certified in cataract surgery by The American Board of Eye Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. In addition, he has successfully completed The Wharton School, Executive Management Program, in 1996 and 2000. Dr. Katzen is a leading force in laser vision correction. As a dedicated surgeon, he is devoted to the treatment of nearsightedness and farsightedness. He has been acknowledged for achievements in developing a specialized surgical instrument called the "Katzen Flap Unzipper," commonly used with LASIK procedures throughout the United States. In addition, he has donated his surgical expertise by teaching and performing cataract surgery in Guyana, South America, Cuba, Israel, the United States, and Europe. Dr. Katzen is recognized by his patients and colleagues as a leader and innovator in cataract and implant surgery. He is at the forefront of the latest technological advances, including multifocal intraocular lenses (IOLs), which frequently permit one to see near, far, and in between, without dependence upon glasses after cataract surgery. Dr. Katzen is nationally recognized for his expertise in correcting astigmatism (a condition in which one's eyes are not perfectly spherical or round, resulting in less than adequate vision). With his use of lasers, special high-tech IOLs, and innovative techniques, Dr. Katzen frequently corrects patients' vision to better than they have ever seen - without glasses.

Dr. Caroline Lee

Dr. Caroline Lee is an optometrist at Eye Doctors of Washington, where she provides vision care for patients in Metro D.C., Northern Virginia, and Maryland. Dr. Lee graduated from Xavier University, where she graduated with honors and received the University Community Engagement Fellowship for leadership and community service. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the State University of New York College of Optometry and went on to complete a Residency in Ocular Disease at SALUS University with the Veterans Affairs Maryland Health Care System. Dr. Lee utilizes her clinical experience to provide compassionate care that is focused on improving vision and maintaining eye health. She has authored several publications and presentations on various topics in optometry. A native of Bethesda, Dr. Lee's family has a long history of providing medical care in the D.C. community. When she is not helping patients, Dr. Lee enjoys hiking, exercising, and traveling - especially to visit her extended family in the Philadelphia area.

Dr. Hadley Saitowitz

Dr. Hadley Saitowitz is a board-certified optometrist who provides contact lens fitting and low vision services. He practices full-scope optometry, including the management and treatment of ocular disease. Dr. Saitowitz joined Delray Eye Associates, P.A. in 1996. He previously served as Chief of Optometry and held the rank of Assistant Clinical Professor at Nova Southeastern University, College of Optometry. Dr. Saitowitz obtained his Optometry degree at Witwatersrand University School of Optometry in Johannesburg, South Africa. He subsequently spent two years at the H.F. Verwoerd Hospital Ophthalmology Department in Pretoria, South Africa, under Professor Hendrik Meyer. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree magna cum laude from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Saitowitz has authored several scientific articles and has lectured extensively on numerous topics related to contact lenses and the management and treatment of ocular disease. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association Contact Lens Society, the Palm Beach County Optometric Society and the Florida Optometric Association. He served several years as a senior examiner for the National Boards of Optometry. Dr. Saitowitz was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. He immigrated to the USA in 1994. He is married with three children. In his spare time he enjoys running and has completed several marathons.

Dr. Matthew Johnson

Dr. Matthew Johnson is a board-certified ophthalmologist. He attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance. He received his Doctor of Medicine from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. While attending Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, he was inducted as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Johnson completed a one-year preliminary internal medicine internship at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Afterward, he stayed in Winston-Salem to complete his ophthalmology residency at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. After completing his residency, Dr. Johnson moved back to his home state of Illinois and practiced in Central Illinois prior to joining the Hauser-Ross Eye Institute. He has been practicing at Hauser-Ross Eye Institute since 2015. Dr. Johnson practices comprehensive ophthalmology with a focus on cataract, glaucoma and cornea care. He specializes in refractive cataract surgery utilizing the LenSx® femtosecond laser as well as traditional cataract surgery. He has expertise not only with standard monofocal lenses but also with advanced technology intraocular lenses that are designed to increase one's independence from glasses. He is up to date on the latest anterior segment surgical techniques and technologies. He also specializes in microinvasive glaucoma surgery as well as LASIK and PRK using the latest topography guided Wavelight® technology. Dr. Ronald S. Weiss

Dr. Ronald S. Weiss is a board-certified ophthalmologist and founder of Chicago Eye Consultants. He is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who specializes in cataracts, diabetic eye care, glaucoma, and other medical and surgical eye disorders. His expertise is cataract surgery. As one of the busiest cataract surgeons in the Chicagoland area, Dr. Weiss performs complicated cataract surgeries, often referred by other ophthalmologists, and incorporates the latest technology and premium implants on qualified candidates. Dr. Weiss received his undergraduate degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and his medical degree from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Steven Rosenfeld

Dr. Steven Rosenfeld is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist who specializes in medical and surgical treatments of corneal conditions, infectious and inflammatory eye diseases, and all forms of laser vision correction. He performs corneal transplant surgery, including the new suture-less DSAEK operation, cataract surgery with premium lens implants and laser-guided vision correction procedures, including LASIK and PRK. Dr. Rosenfeld has been in private practice with Delray Eye Associates, PA since 1985. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and an Associate Examiner for the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Rosenfeld currently serves as a Voluntary Professor on the clinical faculty at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, University of Miami School of Medicine, where he previously held a fulltime faculty position. Dr. Rosenfeld has authored dozens of textbook chapters and scientific articles on the topics of cataract surgery, PRK and LASIK surgery, corneal transplant surgery, and ocular infections. He has co-authored two recent textbooks - one on lens and cataract surgery and one on refractive surgery - under the auspices of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Thomas E. Clinch

Dr. Thomas E. Clinch is the managing partner of Eye Doctors of Washington. Having practiced for 30 years, he has performed over 30,000 LASIK and 10,000 cataract procedures. Dr. Clinch is dedicated to research and has served as an investigator in numerous clinical studies pertaining to LASIK, PRK, phakic and multifocal IOLs, the intraoperative miniature telescope for macular degeneration, collagen crosslinking and intacs for treatment of keratoconus, dry eyes, and infectious corneal diseases. Dr. Clinch has authored over 40 scientific articles and 100 professional presentations. At the beginning of his career, Dr. Clinch served in the U.S. Navy as the head of the Department of Ophthalmology, Naval Hospital, Camp Lejeune. Afterward, he became an Associate Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Utah, where he was the Director of the Cornea and Refractive Surgery Services. He moved to Washington DC in 1999 to be closer to family and friends. Dr. Clinch and his wife enjoy boating, cooking, and fitness. He is a member of the International Wine and Food Society. George Neal - CEO

George recently served as the CEO of Access Dental with locations in California, Texas & Alabama. AD was a wholly owned subsidiary of Guardian Life Insurance Company of America. In this role he was responsible for leading and managing the day to day business operations and departments for Access Dental while leading key strategic initiatives to rapidly grow Guardian's dental business in the US. George joined Guardian in March 2016 and led the rapid expansion of Access Dental as they acquired locations outside the California market. George lead the successful exit of the business in late 2018 when the company was acquired by Western Dental, one of the largest DSO's in the country. George has over 30 years of experience in healthcare leading both medical device and provider service companies specifically in ophthalmology prior to joining AD. He was CEO of TLC Laser Vision Centers and successfully led the organization through a period of significant growth in the North American LASIK industry which had experienced double-digit declines. This lead to the successful sale of the company to private equity ownership which was the goal of the Board of Directors of TLC. George also was Division VP of Global Sales & Marketing for Abbott Medical Optics located in Irvine, Ca. prior to joining TLC. In this role, he led all commercial operations for AMO globally for the cataract/refractive surgical businesses and contact lens and vision care product portfolios. Prior to Abbott George was a senior executive at Alcon. George received his BS from Arizona State University, was a member of the National Political Science Honor Society, and attended Harvard's Executive PMD program.

Jacquelyn Daubert

James served as Vice President, Data Center Manager of American National Bank of Texas in 2018 and 2019 prior to joining EyeCare Services Partners. Additionally as IT Manager STX Healthcare Management Inc. dba All Smiles Dental Centers, Lumby coordinated the efforts of internal/external teams. His experience in infrastructure was solidified with iControl ESI, INC. in Addison Texas. Mr. Lumby served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps. Additionally undergraduate work on his Bachelors of Science was at Texas A & M, Commerce and Western Governors, University Salt Lake City.

Janna S. Mullaney

Janna S. Mullaney serves as a Senior Vice President of Operations and Revenue Cycle Management for Eyecare Services Partners. Ms. Mullaney started her career at Katzen Eye Group in Maryland in 1985, and subsequently served in multiple positions throughout her tenure. As a Past President of the American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators, Ms. Mullaney has served the last 5 years as a contributing board member, has chaired the annual meeting programming committee, served on the ASOAnalytics Task Force and presented at national meetings on topics such as EHR selection, EHR implementation, Clinical Practice Workflow, Developing Staff Model Metrics, Incorporating Aesthetics into an Ophthalmic Practice, Using Analytics in Medical Practice and the Impact of Private Equity on the Practice Administrator. Additionally, she has been featured and authored several articles in Administrative Eyecare and various other industry publications. From 2004-2014, Mrs. Mullaney has served as an EHR and Practice Consultant for over 35 group practices across the country, including the Nova Southeastern Optometry School. In her capacity as practice consultant, she has helped practices select, implement and develop their practice management and electronic health records and contributed to their ongoing practice success. She also served as a resource for NextGen Healthcare Information Systems as an ophthalmic consultant for many of their large practice implementations. In 2015, Janna was selected as the COO of the year by SmartCEO in Baltimore, Maryland. In 2018, Ms. Mullaney was selected to take part in the "2018 Merit-based Incentive Payment System - Improvement Activities Technical Experts Panel (TEP)" and has represented ophthalmology for the last several years at the Alliance of Specialty Medicine, Legislative Fly-In.

Jeffrey Baumann

After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida with High Honors, Dr. Baumann received his medical degree from the University of Miami. He completed his medical internship and served his residency in Ophthalmology at the Ochsner Clinic and Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital in New Orleans and a Fellowship in Corneal Transplants and Anterior Segment Surgery at Tulane Medical Center. He is a clinical instructor for Illinois College of Optometry. He specializes in cataracts and implants and has performed more than 50,000 cases. Dr. Baumann has also served as principal investigator for multiple national research studies, including studies for new and advanced IOL implants. Dr. Baumann is past president of the Lake County Medical Society and has served on the board of directors of The Florida Society of Ambulatory Surgery Centers and the Physician Advisory Board for Amsurg Corporation. He was the co-founder of Advanced Recovery Centers, a national group of alcohol and drug rehab and eating disorders centers. He is also proud to be a volunteer for Eye Care of America for over thirty years providing free care for indigent people. Jodi Luchs

Dr. Luchs graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1987 and received his M.D. in 1991 from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He completed an internship at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, and his Ophthalmology residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He was a fellow in Cornea/External Disease at Wills Eye Hospital. Dr. Luchs is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American College of Surgeons. He is also a member of the Castroviejo Corneal Society, and a founding member of both the American-European Congress of Ophthalmic Surgery (AECOS) and the Society of Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgeons (CEDARS). He has numerous publications on cornea, external diseases, and refractive surgery to his credit, including 2 books, and has lectured nationally, and internationally. Mark S. Dorfman

Mark S. Dorfman, M.D. is a board-certified pediatric ophthalmologist. He specializes in the surgical correction of strabismus (misalignment of the eyes) and blocked tear ducts. In addition, he has extensive experience in treating premature infants (retinopathy of prematurity), amblyopia, eyelid pathology, genetic malformations of the visual system, and in providing comprehensive pediatric ophthalmic examinations. A native of Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Dorfman joined Eye Surgery Associates in 1994. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Cum Laude from Albany Medical College in 1989. He completed his medical internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center and Ophthalmology Residency at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Dorfman then went on to do a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at Northwestern University in Chicago. Dr. Dorfman has been involved in numerous local and statewide programs, to help to protect our children's visual development. In Broward County, he participated in the Vision Steering Committee of the Broward County School Board, and he is a current board member of the Broward County Pediatric Society. One year after coming to Florida, he participated in the Child and Adolescent Health Care Committee of the Broward County Medical Association. Dr. Dorfman was Chief of Surgery at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital for six years and is now the senior pediatric ophthalmologist at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital. In 2002, he was the President of the Florida Society of Ophthalmology and led the public awareness poster campaign for the early diagnosis of retinoblastoma, the most common intraocular tumor in childhood. In this same year, the Society produced a PSA, documenting the dangers of BB gun-related eye injuries. Since his presidency, Dr. Dorfman has remained on the board of the state society and is actively involved in legislative bills that affect visual development. Dr. Dorfman has lectured extensively throughout the country, and he has been listed year after year in several magazines, as one of our top doctors in South Florida. He has written articles that have been published in both pediatric and ophthalmology journals. He has been a member of the following societies: American Medical Association, Alpha Omega Alpha Society, American Academy of Ophthalmology, Florida Society of Ophthalmology, Broward County Medical Association, Florida Medical Association, Broward County Ophthalmology Society, Miami Ophthalmology Society, American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, American College of Surgeons, American Academy of Pediatrics, Broward County Pediatric Society, and the Greater Miami Pediatric Society. In 2005, Dr. Dorfman became the managing partner at Eye Surgery Associates. He is married to Alisa Dorfman. If he is not working at the office, Dr. Dorfman can be found at the ball fields in Weston, where he coaches his three sons in baseball, football and basketball. Dr. Dorfman currently accepts new patients at all three of our locations Pembroke Pines, Weston, and Hollywood.

Quentin Allen

Dr. Allen is a board-certified ophthalmologist who holds a Doctor of Medicine from Duke University in Durham, NC. He completed his clinical internship at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL, and his ophthalmology residency at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH. Dr. Allen has been practicing ophthalmology for more than 14 years and has performed more than 10,000 cataract and refractive procedures. He also has extensive experience in medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma.

Robert C. Sorenson

Robert C. Sorenson, M.D., Ph.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist. He received his medical degree and Ph.D. from the University of Michigan where he graduated Cum Laude. He completed his ophthalmology residency training at the Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Sorenson was a Fellow of the Medical Scientist Training Program, while at the University of Michigan. Dr. Sorenson is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, California Medical Association, California Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Tri-County Eye Society. He has published numerous scientific papers in several prestigious journals and received many academic awards. Dr. Sorenson performs cataract surgery with the "no stitch, no shot" technique. He is a VISX-certified LASIK surgeon. Dr. Sorenson also provides treatment for diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and other diseases of the eye. Dr. Sorenson has participated in missionary services in Argentina and Mexico. He is bilingual, fluent in Spanish as his second language. Dr. Sorenson and his wife are the proud parents of seven children and three grandchildren. He keeps busy with his church callings and enjoys playing his guitars with the little free time he has left.

Robert Pearlman

Dr. Pearlman is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Chicago Ophthalmological Society, the Illinois Association of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists. He is also an active member of the medical staffs of a variety of local hospitals. Dr. Pearlman is a graduate of the Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed his internship at Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia and did his Ophthalmology residency at Temple University. He completed his fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery at Northwestern University and Medical Center under the direction of Dr. Lee Jampol and has since been appointed to the staff as a clinical instructor and researcher. Dr. Pearlman is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology (through December 31, 2024). Dr. Pearlman is Chicagoland Retinal Consultants Medical Director. He is fluent in Hebrew and Spanish and is an avid student of Arabic.

Prior to joining the organization, Susan served as EVP of Refac Optical Group, a top ten national optical retailer representing 7 brands, with over 700 locations of optical and optometric services. Before joining Refac, Susan was with Luxottica Retail in the southeast, directing regional operations and training. She worked previously for the Jack Eckerd Visionworks division as general manager and regional trainer. Susan began her career in private practice ophthalmology associated optical. Susan has an MBA in Sales and Operations from Cambridge International University with an undergraduate degree in Business Marketing. She is a licensed Optician through the North Carolina State Board of Opticians.

Theresa A. Bissonnette - Chief Compliance Officer

Theresa was previously the Director of Quality at North Texas Specialty Physicians, an Independent Physician Association (IPA) based in Fort Worth, Texas where she oversaw the Quality and Risk Adjustment Departments for both the IPA and their Medicare Advantage Plans in Texas and North Carolina. A Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, she has extensive experience in health care quality and leading project management and coding teams to improve the quality of care delivered to patients. Before North Texas Specialty Physicians, Theresa was the Senior Manager of Corporate Programs for Physicians United Plan, a Medicare Advantage Plan in Orlando, Florida. Theresa has also worked in several positions within the long-term care industry including Director of Social Services and Consultant for skilled nursing facilities and Quality Monitor for Community Care, Inc., a long-term care organization aimed at helping aged and disabled Wisconsin residents live as independently as possible. Theresa graduated from Indiana University with a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Medical Sociology and completed her M.B.A. at the University of Phoenix in Orlando, Florida. Theresa joined ESP in October of 2017 as the Director of Quality and assumed the role of Vice President of Compliance and Quality in September of 2019.

Vikrant Donthamsetti

Vikrant Donthamsetti, DO, a board-certified ophthalmologist, received his undergraduate degree in Economics and a minor in Art from Washington University in St. Louis. He graduated from Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He participated in clinical glaucoma medical research while studying in school. He continued to Far Rockaway, New York where he completed two years of a General Surgical residency before finishing his residency in Ophthalmology. During his time in New York, he had the opportunity to work at The Agarwal Eye Hospital and offer cataract surgery to people who could not otherwise afford it. Dr. Donthamsetti continued to an Anterior Segment Fellowship with Dr. Paul Koch, a pioneer in phacoemulsification cataract surgery in Warwick, Rhode Island. After completing thousands of refractive procedures including laser-assisted cataract surgery, traditional cataract surgery, and PRK at Rhode Island, he was ready to offer his help back home in the Midwest. He is driven and dedicated to healing sight and loves what he does. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Association and the American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology. Dr. Donthamsetti loves to draw, read graphic novels, run, swim, and skateboard. His dream is to illustrate his own graphic novel one day.
