J. Glynn Tubb

J. Glynn Tubb, an EysterKey partner for more than 40 years, and he has practiced in several areas of civil litigation during his tenure with the firm. Mr. Tubb has litigated a variety of cases in all trial courts across the Tennessee Valley. His practice has concentrated in personal injury for both plaintiffs and defendants. He has represented many different insurance carriers over the years, and also represented a large number of self-insured companies such as General Motors, Goodyear, and International Paper. Mr. Tubb presently represents the Alabama Workers' Compensation Self-Insurers Guaranty Association. Glynn Tubb also maintains a very active mediation practice. He has been registered by the State of Alabama to mediate civil disputes for in excess of ten years. He has mediated over 700 cases during this time and is one of a very few mediators in North Alabama who have been nominated and become members of the Alabama Association of Mediator Attorneys. He is also one of 26 mediators in Alabama to be member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals. He is also a member of the American College of Civil Trial Mediators. Mr. Tubb was inducted in the Fellows of the Alabama Bar Association in 2014 which is limited to one percent of the Alabama Bar. Mr. Tubb is past President of the Morgan County Bar Association, former Vice President of Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, and the Decatur area representative of the Defense Trial Attorneys Association. He has been an "AV" rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell for more than 30 years. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Decatur Utilities for nine years, and is presently a member of the Calhoun College Foundation, Hospice of the Valley Board of Directors, and is also a member of the University of Alabama President's Cabinet.

Jimmy Adams is a partner with EysterKey. A native of Decatur, he received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama in 1983. He graduated from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 1986. He was admitted to the Alabama State Bar and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama in 1986. In his over 30 years of practicing law in North Alabama, and over 100 cases tried, Mr. Adams has obtained a reputation as one of the premier civil defense trial lawyers in North Alabama. Mr. Adams' practice focuses primarily on insurance defense litigation and workers' compensation law, but he has experience in a wide variety of areas of the law. Mr. Adams has lectured on the subjects of ethics and insurance law, and is frequently called upon by his peers to represent attorneys accused of legal malpractice. Mr. Adams is also a registered mediator. Mr. Adams is the past President of the Board of Directors of Hospice of the Valley.

William L. Middleton, III

Billy Middleton has over 30 years of litigation experience during which he has tried over 200 cases to verdict. Recognized by his peers who awarded him for over 15 years the highest possible rating among attorneys, Mr. Middleton's practice focuses primarily in workers' compensation, personal injury, social security law and insurance law. He is also a registered mediator. Mr. Middleton has participated in trials in both State and Federal Court and engaged in Appellate practice before the Supreme Court of Alabama, Alabama Court of Civil Appeals and Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals. He is a member of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, Alabama Bar Association, and Defense Research Institute. He is frequently asked to lecture at seminars and continuing education programs on workers' compensation issues. He was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 1984 after graduating cum laude from the University of Alabama in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Commerce Business Administration and a Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1984. He is also admitted to practice before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, U. S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama, and U. S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama. Originally from Montgomery, Alabama Mr. Middleton is a life-long Alabama resident. He moved to Decatur in 1984, and has been active in the community and in civil organizations including Kiwanis. He is a sports enthusiast, including college athletics, golf and hunting.
