FX PRIME - Key Persons

The dual Swiss/Swedish citizen was born and raised in Malmö of Sweden‘s south. Already in his young age he left his home country and studied as well as worked in various countries such as France, Denmark and England. For over 15 years he has successfully worked in the financial sector and brings along a strong leadership experience from prior positions. As a co-founder of FX Prime he lives with his wife and his two kids in Küsnacht near Zurich.

The Swiss born is originally from the regional capital Bern. After his business school he started his career at Credit Suisse and was working in Zurich, Geneva and New York before moving to a new position at Citibank. From early on, he has specialized on foreign exchange, in particular on foreign exchange options, and has been taking care of institutional clients as well as ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNW) throughout his career. Finally he joined an independent asset manager after which he founded FX PRIME together with his partners. Today, Patrick lives in the canton of Schwyz.

Thomas Walcher was raised in South Tyrol, Italy. He started his career in Denmark after having finished his master degree at Copenhagen Business School. His passion has always been the foreign exchange market and excellent customer service. After his long-term experience at Saxo Bank, he moved to Zurich to start working at Citibank and an independent asset manager in the foreign exchange market before co-founding FX Prime together with his two partners. Thomas currently lives and works in Wollerau near Zurich.
