Dallis Howard-Crow is chief human resources officer for UCHealth, a nationally recognized, nonprofit health care system with operating revenue of $6 billion and a workforce of more than 28,000 people. UCHealth includes 12 Colorado hospitals with over 2,000 inpatient beds and more than 150 clinic locations in Colorado, southern Wyoming and western Nebraska.
Ms. Howard-Crow joined UCHealth in December 2014 and is responsible for all human resources functions across the system, including organizational development and learning, employee engagement, employee recognition, benefits, e-learning, shared services, compensation, talent acquisition, wellness, employment law and compliance, internal communications, performance management, onboarding, and service performance (employee and physician satisfaction).
Ms. Howard-Crow has extensive experience in the healthcare field. Prior to joining UCHealth, she was the chief administrative officer and chief human resources officer for Emory Healthcare, where she oversaw human resources for the health system, directed human resources programs and ensured the human resources systems and programs supported the mission and goals of the entire organization. Among her many responsibilities was providing strategic leadership in support of the organization's goal of being the employer of choice in Atlanta and the Southeast.
Previously, Ms. Howard-Crow served as senior vice president and chief administrative officer at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, Ill. Under her leadership, Methodist earned Magnet nursing designation in 2004, and was the first Illinois hospital in three years to be presented the Lincoln Gold Award for Quality in 2006 based on the criteria for performance excellence of the Baldrige National Quality Program. Prior to joining Methodist, Ms. Howard-Crow worked at Denver-based HCA-Health One, and gained valuable experience, including the opportunity to lead the human resources team during multiple changes in corporate ownership.
Ms. Howard-Crow holds a master's degree in health administration from the University of Colorado at Denver and a bachelor's in accounting from Arizona State University. She also completed the Managing Healthcare Delivery program at Harvard Business School.

Dan Rieber serves as chief financial officer of UCHealth, a nationally recognized, nonprofit health care system with operating revenue of $6 billion and a workforce of more than 28,000 people. Mr. Rieber was appointed chief financial officer in 2018.
Mr. Rieber joined UCHealth in 2007 as director of finance and controller at University of Colorado Hospital. He took on the role of UCHealth Memorial CFO in 2014, overseeing finances for Memorial Hospital Central, Memorial Hospital North and outpatient clinic locations in Colorado Springs. Rieber also managed the finances for several of UCHealth's community hospitals and expansion projects.

As the chief diversity officer, Mr. Mafe works closely with leaders at UCHealth and in the community to shape the organization's culture to be one that values diversity and inclusion, and lives out its values in the delivery of care. In his role as vice president, he provides strategic HR advice to the executive team and oversees all HR operations in the metro Denver region, which includes University of Colorado Hospital, Highlands Ranch Hospital, Longs Peak Hospital, Broomfield Hospital and clinic locations.
Prior to joining UCHealth in 2021, Mr. Mafe worked at Emory Healthcare (EHC), the most comprehensive health system in Georgia. He served as vice president for Human Resources at Emory University Hospital Midtown (EUHM) in Atlanta and was responsible for employee engagement and relations, patient experience, leader development, performance management, succession planning, compensation, talent acquisition, diversity, equity & inclusion, guest services, safety/emergency preparedness, immigration, and employee & patient parking.
Mr. Mafe is committed to diminishing inequities for patients, employees and providers. At EHC, he worked with his team to advance diversity, equity and inclusion while driving a cultural transformation. David was responsible for EHC's first financial wellness program designed to diminish inequities in financial literacy and 403B usage by minority and female employees. The program provided a 3% increase in 403B participation and match utilization within the first full year.
Mr. Mafe received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Arts at Hawaii Loa College, and his master's degree in HR Management from Hawaii Pacific University. He completed the Senior Professional Human Resource Certification (SPHR) and is a certified Just Culture Champion.
When not working, Mr. Mafe delights in spending time with his wife, Cari, and their 5 children. Dr. Gretchen Ahrendt is a Professor of Surgery and Director of the Diane O'Connor Thompson Breast Center at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. She is a board certified surgeon with specialty training in breast surgery. Her clinical practice is devoted to the care and management of patients with breast cancer as well as benign breast conditions.
Dr. Ahrendt graduated from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed her residency and fellowship training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Colorado in 2016, Dr. Ahrendt served as the Division Chief for the Breast Surgical Oncology Division at the University of Pittsburgh and was the co-Director of the comprehensive Breast Cancer Program at UPMC. During her tenure there, she led the expansion of the breast surgery program from one site to 4 sites with integration of breast surgery services with the UPMC Cancer Centers across western Pennsylvania. She developed an accredited Breast Surgery Fellowship Program that trained future leaders in breast surgery.
Throughout her career, Dr. Ahrendt has been invested in clinical research and has been involved in pivotal trails that define surgery of the axilla in breast cancer. She has contributed over 80 peer-reviewed publications and participates in several National Committees.
Dr. Ahrendt is married to Dr. Steven Ahrendt, a fellowship trained Surgical Oncologist. She is the mother of three daughters. Outside of work, Dr. Ahrendt loves time with her family hiking, skiing, running, cycling, and fine dining.
Dr. John Stathis specializes in invasive and interventional cardiology and has a long history of serving the medical needs of Longmont and the surrounding communities. Dr. Stathis is board certified in general cardiology, interventional cardiology and coronary stenting.
Dr. Stathis completed medical school at the University of Guadalajara in 1981, an internship at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine (New York) in 1983, his residency at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine (New York) in 1985, and his fellowship at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine (New York) in 1987.

Dr. Margaret Reidy is the chief medical officer of UCHealth, Colorado's Front Range health system comprised of leading community hospitals and the region's top academic medical center. She serves as the liaison between providers and system administration to ensure that the highest standards of quality clinical care and service for patients are maintained. She also leads efforts to develop innovative, high-quality and cost-effective treatments across the system.
Most recently, Dr. Reidy served as Chief Medical Officer, Revenue Cycle at UCHealth with oversight of Care Management, Social Work Services, Post-Acute Care, Physician Advising, Transfer Center and Medicaid strategies.
Prior to joining UCHealth, Dr. Reidy served as the Senior Vice President for Medical Affairs UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside Hospital and Senior Medical Director for Corporate Care Management for UPMC Health System. She also served as the President of UPMC Rehabilitation Network, Vice President for Medical Affairs at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Medical Director for Collaborative Care management at UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside Hospital, Vice President for Medical Affairs UPMC Passavant Hospital and as the Chief Medical Officer at UPMC Rehabilitation Hospital.
Dr. Reidy is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and her clinical practice specialized in rehabilitation of Traumatic Brain Injury, Neurosurgical and Transplant patients. Libby Chambers is a board director and advisor, with experience as a senior financial services executive, strategist, and marketing leader. Her experience spans global financial institutions and professional services organizations, based in both the US and the UK.
Background - In addition to the UCHA board, Libby currently serves on the boards of TSB Bank plc, Provident Financial, a FTSE 250 consumer finance provider, and Evelyn Partners, a large private bank providing wealth management, accounting, and tax advisory services. She is also an Operating Partner with Searchlight Capital, a global private equity firm, and serves on the advisory boards of fintech and software companies including Coadjute and ReachMobile/ReachNext. Previous directorships have included Hastings Group plc, Dollar Financial Group, hibu plc (the Yell Group), Home and Savings Bank, and the boards of Barclays' joint ventures with other global brands.
Libby's executive career included roles as EVP, Chief Strategy, Product and Marketing Officer of Western Union, the global payments company. She also sat on the board of Western Union's EU-regulated bank. Prior to Western Union, she held a range of senior marketing roles at Barclays, including serving as Chief Marketing Officer of retail and commercial banking and Barclaycard. She has also held C-level strategy, marketing and business development roles at Bank of America, the Reader's Digest Association, Bingham McCutchen and Freshfields.
Earlier in her career, Libby was a Partner in the Financial Institutions and Organization practices at McKinsey & Company. While at McKinsey, she co-authored the renowned "War for Talent" study.
A Harvard MBA, she is also a Stanford graduate and started her professional life with Morgan Stanley & Co. Libby is a Colorado native, and splits her time between London and Vail.

Greg Ludlow is a third-generation member of the northern Colorado agriculture and business community. Mr. Ludlow currently manages his family's Colorado farming operation, following his retirement as the Sr. Vice President of Guaranty Bank and Trust in Longmont, Colorado. He worked in the commercial banking industry in Greeley and Longmont for over 30 years.
Greg graduated from Colorado State University with a BSBA with a major in Finance. He went on to obtain his Master of Agriculture from Texas A&M University, and graduated from the University of Colorado Graduate School of Banking.
Greg is an active volunteer in the Longmont community. Volunteer efforts include TLC Learning Center, Colorado Livestock Association, Special Olympics and Twin Peaks Rotary. He is also an avid fly fisherman.

John Mentgen started his healthcare career in 1994 with CoxHealth in Springfield, Mo. He held progressive roles leading to the position of administrator of Cox Medical Center North and vice president of support services for CoxHealth. In 2004, he was recruited by one of the nation's largest healthcare systems in the country, Catholic Health Initiatives, as vice present of operations at the St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Mo.
In 2006, he was promoted to senior vice present and chief operating officer, a role he held until joining Franciscan St. Margaret in 2009, where he served as executive vice president and chief operating officer to Franciscan St. Margaret Health in Dyer and Hammond, Ind. Franciscan St. Margaret Health is part of the Franciscan Alliance, a non-profit Catholic healthcare system that operates 14 hospitals in Indiana and Chicago, Illinois.
Mentgen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Drury University in Springfield, Mo., and a Master of Healthcare Administration from Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis. He completed his administrative fellowship at CoxHealth in 1995 and is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
John Kilrow has more than 35 years of experience in the real estate business, including land development, vertical development, and sales and marketing.
John has been a member of the development team of several major commercial projects in Metro Denver. He has managed and coordinated the land sales activities for Shea assets. Notable vertical developments during John's tenure at Shea have included corporate offices for Visa, U.S.A., Northrup Grumman, Frontier Airlines, Shea Centers I & II, Maroon V, Village Center Station, CoBank Center, Charter Communications, Encana Energy, the Highlands Ranch Town Center and Central Park Retail, as well as eight grocery-anchored retail centers and 1,100 units of apartments.

John Reilly Jr., MD is the Dean of the University of Colorado School of Medicine and Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs for the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. He holds the Richard D. Krugman Endowed Chair and joined the University in April 2015.

Background - Prior to joining the University of Colorado, Dr. Reilly was at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine beginning in 2008. In 2011, he was appointed the Jack D. Myers Professor and Chair for the Department of Medicine. Dr. Reilly's education and training include an undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Dartmouth and his medical degree from Harvard, with postgraduate work at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston and at Intermountain Healthcare in Salt Lake City.
Dr. Reilly has overseen the grants administration enterprise for the Department of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh, providing a broad view of academic research there and enabling him to further shape his ideas for the elements of success in research. His personal research activities are focused on various pulmonary diseases, including emphysema, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and lung cancer.
In addition to his participation in multidisciplinary research, Dr. Reilly has extensive experience in creating and working in multidisciplinary clinical programs. He participated in the founding of the Lung Transplant program at Brigham and Women's Hospital in 1992, and since then he has worked in a comprehensive lung cancer program, a multidisciplinary critical care service running a surgical intensive care unit and two lung volume reduction surgery programs. In his role as department chair at the University of Pittsburgh, he reorganized the liver and renal transplant areas to a more integrated model where they can function as a unified team.
Faculty development and mentorship are important components of his leadership. Dr. Reilly has a long and consistent track record of both research and clinical mentorship of faculty and trainees. He strives to identify talented individuals, providing them with the strategic vision and the autonomy to carry out their work and then continuing to work with them to solve problems and remove barriers identified in the course of business. Dr. Reilly is keenly aware of the challenges facing academic medicine today, from the rapidly changing clinical landscape to funding pressures for research and education dollars. Karen Stuart is a former three-term Mayor of the City and County of Broomfield, Colorado, where she played a key role in the creation of the consolidated city and county in 2001. Stuart had leadership roles with the Denver Regional Council of Governments, the US36 Mayors and Commissioners Coalition, the Metro Mayors Caucus and the National League of Cities Transportation Advisory Committee. Stuart has served on numerous boards throughout her career, including the Front Range Community College Board of Directors, Adams County CASA Board of Directors and Broomfield Veterans' Memorial Museum Board of Directors.

The Women in Transportation Seminars (WTS) chose Karen Stuart as the Colorado Transportation Woman of the Year in 2020.

Lonnie R. "The majority of the time, however, we're typically around the emergency department. The ER brings its own unique characteristics. It's everything from upset family members and patients having a bad day, to patients experiencing a mental health crisis and just needing that extra set of ears and understanding to properly cope and move forward."

Michael Randle, MD was appointed chief executive officer of UCHealth Medical Group in July 2017. Dr. Randle has also served as the chief medical officer since 2012. Dr. Richard Zane is the chief innovation officer for UCHealth, a nationally recognized, nonprofit health care system with operating revenue of $6 billion, a workforce of more than 28,000 people and 12 hospitals including the state's only academic medical center.
Dr. Zane works closely with UCHealth's clinical and operational leadership team, partners from the University of Colorado School of Medicine and the University of Colorado to continuously innovate UCHealth's operations and care delivery processes, implement novel technology and develop new technology in partnership with external and internal innovators.
Dr. Zane is currently the George B. Boedecker, Jr. and Boedecker Foundation Professor and Chair of Emergency Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He is also professor of healthcare administration at the CU Denver Business School. Dr. Zane serves as UCHealth's executive director of emergency services and provides oversight for UCHealth's DocLine.
Prior to joining the University of Colorado School of Medicine and UCHealth in 2012, Dr. Zane served as associate professor and vice chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School and medical director for MDConnect, the Partners Healthcare patient access, transfer and transport system.
Dr. Zane attended Temple University School of Medicine and went on to specialty training in emergency medicine at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Dr. Zane and his wife, Siobhan Murphy-Zane, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at Children's Hospital Colorado, live in the metro Denver area with their three children.
Brothers Dick and Charlie Monfort have done extensive community outreach through their family-directed Monfort Family Foundation. In September 2004, the Monfort Family Foundation, gifted $10 million dollars to Children's Hospital Colorado for the construction of a new medical facility in Aurora, Colo. The oncology floor of the new hospital is named in memory of Rick Wilson, a cousin of the Monfort family. In addition, the family funded an artwork, photo and Rockies memorabilia display to enhance the seventh floor of the hospital. The foundation is a longtime provider of funding and endorsement for the Boys & Girls Clubs in Metro Denver and Weld County. In 2012, they matched dollar for dollar on fans' collected contributions for Coloradoans devastated by summer wildfires. Also active in higher education, the Monfort family supports the Monfort School of Business at the University of Northern Colorado and the Monfort Excellence Fund at Colorado State University; both impact students, faculty and the Northern Colorado community through scholarships for exceptional students and support of outstanding faculty. Other organizations that have benefited from the Monfort family's years of philanthropic work include CU Cancer Center, Craig Hospital, United Way, the Denver Art Museum and Habitat for Humanity.
In January 2012, the Monfort brothers headed an investment group that purchased the Casper Ghosts, the Rockies affiliate in the Pioneer League now located in Grand Junction, Colo. Individually, Monfort was the 2008 recipient of the United Way of Weld County Humanitarian of the Year Award-an award his father, Kenny Monfort, received twenty years earlier. Monfort is currently the Chairman of the University of Northern Colorado Board of Trustees, Chairman of the Board of Directors of UCHealth and Chairman of the Colorado Economic Development Commission.
Monfort spent 25 years in the cattle business, primarily with his family's company. He became president of Monfort of Colorado, Inc., in 1987 and joined ConAgra Red Meats in 1991 as the president & CEO. After retiring from ConAgra in 1995, he helped launch the Montera Cattle Co. in 1996. Currently, he owns the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, Calif.
A 1976 graduate of the University of Northern Colorado, Monfort has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management. In May 2012, Colorado State University President Tony Frank awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Humane Letters to Monfort in recognition of his significant contributions to Colorado industry and higher education. Also in May 2014, he was awarded an honorary Doctor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship by Johnson & Wales University.
Born April 27, 1954, Monfort makes his home in Greeley, Colo., and he has three children: daughter Lyndsey (and son-in-law Aaron Graber) and sons Walker and Sterling.

A journalist for 12 years, he joined UCHealth after reporting and editing at the Detroit Free Press. He is the author of Fading Ads of Detroit, a book exploring connections between classic Detroit brands - from Carhartt to Mac-O-Lac Paints to the Detroit Tigers - found on ghost signs and the personal histories of Detroit residents. He previously reported for the Fort Collins Coloradoan, Summit Daily News and Montrose Daily Press.
His outdoor adventures include scrambling summits, hunting powder stashes via snowboard and taking a three-week winter rafting trip down the Grand Canyon. The Oklahoma State University graduate lives in Fort Collins with his wife, Rachel, and their obstinate pug, Darla.

Steve Hess is the chief information officer for UCHealth, a nationally recognized, nonprofit health care system with operating revenue of $6 billion and a workforce of more than 28,000 people. In the past he led key IBM consulting practices including the company's global Retail and Consumer Products, global Smarter Commerce and the Growth Markets Application Innovation businesses.
Steve began his career in store management at Sears, Roebuck & Co. then entered consulting with Ernst & Young. He serves on the National Retail Federation and Retail Industry Leaders Association boards of directors and as an advisor to the World Retail Congress. Steve serves his local community as a member of the board of directors for UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital.
Susie Mouzakis works full-time, Monday through Friday, as a senior patient access representative at UCHealth Internal Medicine - Snow Mesa in Fort Collins. Some days are longer than others, as she makes time for chemotherapy to treat stage 4 cancer.
"She's one of the most kind-hearted people you'll ever meet," said her daughter-in-law, Guadalupe Mouzakis, pharmacy intern at UCHealth Greeley Hospital. "She's one of the strongest people I've ever met. It's unfortunate that she has to go through this."
Last year, after the cancer was found to have metastasized, Susie's colleagues welcomed her back to work in "Team Susie" T-shirts. They presented her a large basket of goodies with fuzzy blankets, socks, creams and aromatics. The following Monday, she returned the kindness with pastries, coffee, bowls of fruit and a little sign that read, "Good vibes only."

Theresa Peña has an extensive career in the public and private sector. She is currently working for Denver Public Schools as regional coordinator of outreach and engagement for the Food and Nutrition Services team. Prior to joining DPS Theresa worked with Hunger Free Colorado, the Colorado Children's Campaign and the City of Denver. Theresa was elected to the Denver Public School Board of Education as an at-large representative in November 2003 and was reelected in November 2007 for a second four-year term. Before serving on the DPS Board Theresa worked for IBM and US WEST where she had a successful career in marketing, human resources, operations and finance.
Theresa is a Denver native. She is a graduate of Pomona College where she received a BA in sociology and Cornell University where she received her MBA with a concentration in finance and marketing. Theresa has two children, both graduates of Denver Public Schools, and her husband is a veterinary ophthalmologist. Thomas M. Gronow, Ed.D., M.H.A., serves as president and chief executive officer of University of Colorado Hospital, one of 12 hospitals within UCHealth, a nationally recognized health care system with operating revenue of $6 billion and a workforce of more than 28,000 people.
Mr. Gronow joined UCHealth in 2014 as the chief operating officer for University of Colorado Hospital. In 2022, he was named president and CEO. Prior to joining University of Colorado Hospital, Mr. Gronow served as vice president of operations at UPMC Mercy in Pittsburgh, PA. Mr. Gronow started at UPMC as an administrative fellow in 2007.
Mr. Gronow's leadership expertise centers on complex adaptive systems and how constructs of leadership, learning, change, and culture are used to impact organizational performance. Mr. Gronow's passion is developing leaders and teams to perform and adapt in order to deliver safer, more efficient care to patients.
Mr. Gronow earned his Doctor of Education from the George Washington University, Master of Health Administration from University of South Florida, and Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Mr. Gronow also holds a certification as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt.

Todd Saliman was named president of the University of Colorado in June 2021. He will serve in the interim as the CU Board of Regents conducts a national search for a permanent president.
Background - Before serving as president, Saliman was CU's senior vice president for strategy, government relations and chief financial officer. He has 30 years of experience working on higher education and public policy in Colorado. He served in the Cabinet for two governors and is a former member of the Colorado General Assembly. While interim president, he will continue with some of his senior vice president duties.
From 2007-2010, Saliman was a member of Gov. Bill Ritter's Cabinet and senior staff. As director of the Governor's Office of State Planning and Budgeting, he represented the governor as he worked with the legislature to develop and implement the state's budget and other legislative and strategic initiatives. His team worked with every state department to build the governor's budget request - submitted annually to the Colorado legislature - and recommended and implemented plans to keep the budget balanced throughout the fiscal year. His office also prepared quarterly economic forecasts for the state. He guided the state budget during the great recession, which began in 2008.
When Gov. Hickenlooper was elected, Saliman continued on as a senior advisor during the Governor's first legislative session to provide guidance and support on state budget and policy issues.
Todd served eight years in the Colorado legislature (1995-2002), four of which were spent serving on the Joint Budget Committee. He also owned and operated a lobbying firm that represented some of the most prominent organizations and governmental entities in the state, including the University of Colorado.
Saliman was born and raised in Colorado and is an alumnus of the University of Colorado Boulder.
Dr. Whitsitt is a practicing general cardiologist. He is a member of the UCHealth Medical Group Board of Directors.
Dr. Whitsitt was born in Indiana as one of five boys and grew up in Georgia. He received his BA from Lagrange College and his MD from the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Whitsitt did his internal medicine residency at Eisenhower Army Medical Center and a cardiology fellowship at the former Fitzsimons Army Hospital. Dr. Whitsitt went into private practice in 1992.
