Andrew Turnbull

Andrew Turnbull is the Business Development & Partnerships Director for PeoplePlus, and has been with the business since 2016. Andrew has over 15 years' experience of leading business development teams, developing growth strategies and managing large scale complex bids in a range of sectors, including justice, welfare to work, skills, financial and legal advice, and health and social care

Claire Nicholls

I have worked for PeoplePlus for over 12 years and have operational experience through employability contracts and for the last 7 years have worked within the Partnerships team, supporting with national and local bids within the Justice, Employability and Health and Social Care sectors. As Head of Bid Partnerships, I am passionate about supporting the team to build strong partner and stakeholder relationships.

Clare Boston

Clare Boston oversees the Community Services Division; including Independent Living Services and Carer Services. Clare has over 20 years experience in management of outsourced services, across a number of sectors. She has managed significant services commissioned by DWP, MoJ, DCMS, NHSE and a large number of local authorities. She has a wealth of experience in transformation, change and contract implementation.

Emma Yorke

Emma has worked in senior roles in the education and training sector for over 20 years and has a particular passion for supporting adult learners who are looking for a "second chance" into learning. Emma has a proven track record in driving the quality of curriculum and its delivery, challenging new and innovative ways of learning and development at every opportunity. Engaging with commissioners as a trusted partner to achieve the strategic ambition and intent of our contract portfolio is a primary focus for Emma in her current role alongside ongoing research into critical challenges including literacy and digital skills.

Heather Waterhouse

Heather is a Fellow of the CIPD and a qualified executive coach and mediator. She has joined PeoplePlus this year, having previously led an HR team at GEOAmey who sit within the justice sector. During her extensive HR career Heather has worked across many sectors including professional services, financial services, heavy manufacturing and engineering. Heather loves to learn and embraces change and challenge in equal measure.

James Clark-Allan

As Strategy, Solutions and Partnerships Director, I'm passionate about making sure we work collaboratively with partners, sharing ideas, best practice and opportunities to help change the lives of every customer that we work with every day. I have over 20 years' industry experience supporting partnerships and stakeholder management both in operational roles and latterly in Business Development functions, for Prime organisations across the UK and Ireland. I am also an ERSA board director, so have a wide knowledge of our sector through working for and with the 300+ ERSA members which span the private, public and voluntary sectors, from multi-national businesses to charities and community enterprises.

An experienced operator in outsourced public services, Kenny joined PeoplePlus as Chief Operating Officer in 2018 from Capita, where he was the Managing Director of the highly successful Automatic Enrolment (AE) Contract with The Pensions Regulator/DWP.

She is an Executive Lead on the Social Recruitment Advocacy Group, which complements her role as Business Development Director on our Social Impact Service for employers.

Louise Lake

I am a Bid Partnerships Manager covering the UK , providing a local focus on the North East , Yorkshire and Humberside. I joined PeoplePlus in 2021, my role is to build and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders, developing partnership solutions to support bids across our employability, justice, enterprise and communities' services. Prior to my current role I worked for thirteen years building and maintaining both local and national partnership relationships within the public and private sector.

Sally Bond

Sally joined the Welfare to Work sector in 2007. From there she has many roles at PeoplePlus including Projects Director, Divisional Director for Health & Social Care and leading our other departments in Skills and Employability. On return from maternity leave Sally became Operations Director for the Restart Contract and subsequently Divisional Managing Director for Employability. Sally holds a number of Change qualifications including PRINCE2, Agile, MPS and most recently a Six Sigma Black Belt. She has a wealth of experience in running new contracts and managing change across the business.

Steven has extensive experience of working with commissioners and regulators, and has designed and oversees our control environment management systems across the businesses to ensure that all statutory, regulatory, and contractual compliance requirements are adhered to.
