Ash started with us as Accounts Manager whilst completing her Diploma in Construction (Quantity Surveying). After some time in the Quantity Surveyor seat Ash has taken on the role of our Head of Delivery where she provides leadership and direction to the Construction & QS teams ensuring that jobs are financially and operationally managed throughout the process.Ash's favourite part of the role is being able to contribute in a big way to the completion of beautiful family homes and the responsibility that comes with it.Outside of work Ash likes reading, gardening, going for bike rides and walks with the kids and her husband Daniel.

Sentinel Homes in the Manawatu is a family business. Nigel's oldest son Reuben is a qualified LBP builder of 9 years and oversees the construction of all our homes. He's detail oriented, and everything is built to an extremely high standard. Nigels cousin Barry brings a lifetime of sales experience, and helps make the whole build process as enjoyable and transparent as possible for our clients.

Belinda supports our construction team and keeps the cogs of the office moving smoothly every day. She is our office Mum and takes care of everyone walking through the door every day. Belinda recently joined our growing team and is loving the variety that comes with the construction industry as there is always something to learn.
After hours Belinda is a busy Granny to her three beautiful grandchildren. She loves spending time with family and friends and doing crafts in her spare time.

Ben has a passion for building and designing and his family has been involved in property development and construction. Ben grew up working on building sites as a teenager and his family is still involved in Construction projects overseas. After acquiring a property renovation franchise, Ben gained a Level 3 Carpentry and Construction Certificate, and brings a unique perspective on designing and building and can talk to the process of a build from the ground up.
In his spare time Ben is always working on a small online stockmarket investment app and enjoys a round of golf but his real passion lies in property and new builds.
Brock works across all of our site projects supporting the Project Managers and oversees our ever important maintenance program. He skills on the tools sees him as our ‘jack of all trades' and is our go to for any last minute jobs that may come up. Brock enjoys supporting the team to achieve efficient quality results and loves the variety he encounters every day.
Outside of work Brock loves spending time outdoors and hanging out with his family and friends.

Christie joined Sentinel Homes in 2016 and has a passion for making things simple and easy.

Christie's key skills include planning, strategic decision making, implementation of process improvement programs along with knowledge of fiscal management, HR management, and residential construction regulations and health and safety. Damian has worked with Sentinel Homes for 12 years now and looks after all the accounts, ensuring our trade partners and staff are all paid on time. He loves to balance and tally the figures and has a keen eye to make sure we are staying on track and keeping a close eye on our project budgets.

Dave grew up in Paeroa and went to Thames High. He completed an apprenticeship in joinery before working as a team leader, building transportable homes for 5 years. He met his wife, Melissa, in a pub in Queenstown and moved to Germany with her where he worked as a plumber for 2 years before moving back to New Zealand together.His favourite part of the job is working closely with people to design, build, and deliver their dream home. Outside of work, Dave enjoys spending time with the family - which includes his two gorgeous kids, Lucas and baby Ivy - and friends, hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.

Dennis project manages our Design and Build portfolio and has been in the industry for 25 years. As the son of a builder he was pretty much born with a hammer in his hand and dragged along to construction sites as a kid. Dennis holds a wealth of experience across the industry from building architectural homes, high rises and bridges, rebuilding damaged homes for insurance companies, and has spent the last 9 years in project management. Dennis loves working with clients on a home they have designed and seeing their excitement through the different stages of the build.
After hours you can find Dennis with his dog at the beach, surfing, fishing and enjoys a spot of karaoke after dark.

Don has been with Sentinel for over 10 years and has been in the construction industry for even longer, after some time driving big trucks around the North Island. Don's construction knowledge is vast and he has worked on many projects in the industry. From residential homes, retirement villages, along with Kainga Ora and ACC renovation projects. Don juggles all things construction to ensure all our wonderful projects are getting ticked off in the right places and getting CCC issued on all our builds. Don's favourite part of the job is working closely with all of our trades to achieve a fantastic finished result.
Don is a dedicated family man and spends his spare time road tripping with his wife, daughter and dog and likes to collect a thing or two. From hats through to rugby books and other memorabilia.

Fraser grew up in Cambridge and has 20 years of experience in the building industry under his belt. He started as a hammer hand in the UK for 3 years before returning to NZ to become qualified. Fraser has taken on multiple roles in the building industry, from carpenter, to foreman, and now project management. His favourite parts of the job are seeing the build take shape and clients' excitement throughout the process - especially around frames going up, and of course completion. Out of work, Fraser loves to hunt, fish, play golf, dive, chill at the beach and just spend time with his partner and two boys - especially on family holidays.

Haley looks after our accounts department to ensure that all of our build partners are paid on time as well as looking after the financial wellbeing of the business.Haley loves the flexibility of her role (especially having two young kids) and that we support her and give her every opportunity to grow. Heather has recently joined our team after working as an Account Manager at Placemakers. She has been in the Construction Industry for 19 years, and loves being amongst it on site seeing the day to day. Heather is thrilled to have joined the team at Sentinel and can't wait to learn the ropes and hand over the keys to her first project.
When Heather isn't spending all her spare time supporting her children in their sporting commitments, she enjoys watching the V8's, a good cold beer and will never pass up an opportunity to head out on the water for a spot of fishing.

Jack has recently joined the family business as a Sales Cadet. He is keen to learn the ropes of the business whilst completing his BBS and Massey Uni. After qualifying for the Y12 business trip to both New York & London, he then was involved with the Young Enterprise Foundation (YES), where he & his team created an online service platform. These skills have created a solid platform for Jack to enter the world of business and expand his knowledge.

Jordan is one of our Junior Project Manager's learning the ropes on our multi-unit developments. Jordan has spent 7 years in the construction industry gaining various skills and most recently plastering and installing Gib cove. He is thrilled to join the Sentinel family and enjoys learning new things on site and meeting new people.
Outside of work Jordan enjoys many hobbies including cooking, going to the gym, travelling, trading and investing.
Jordon Alley have built and renovated their own homes and this is big factor that contributes to their belief - that well designed and built spaces enhance the lives of families. This is what they find really exciting every time they get to build new homes for their clients.
Jordon is a primary school teacher at a local school and loves working with children and seeing them flourish. Prior to this she had a career in sport, where she played over 30 games for the Black Ferns 7s team and travelled all over the globe on the World Sevens Circuit. Jordy has a real interest in interior design and Nate loves how she can make a house feel like a home.

Maree has been in the new property industry in Auckland for over 14 years. She's used her marketing and communication skills to build a team of experienced staff and trade partners who operate across both Design & Build and Subdivisional work
Her team have been winning GOLD at the House of the Year Awards since 2011 and are known for thoughtful design, superb workmanship and transparency of communication. Their referral base speaks volumes to the success they have enjoyed in building this family run company.

Having moved to New Zealand from China over 20 years ago, Mei has made a home for herself here with her husband and three children. Since living here, Mei has dabbled in all things design and draughting. Her favourite part of the job is using her technical expertise to help more Kiwis build their dream homes. Outside of work, Mei enjoys finding new recipes to try out, watching Netflix (mainly comedies), and playing table tennis - but only non-competitively!
Monique is the friendly face that welcomes everyone to our office. She looks after general administration in our office and provides support to every department. Monique loves to be creative which compliments the marketing side of the business, helping with the advertising and social media content. Monique studied teaching then lived in London and travelled for two years. Her favourite part of the job is helping people out and being part of such a driven, positive team who help push and challenge you to be the best version of yourself. Nate - owner and general manager, Nate is tasked with "steering the ship", He's a builder by trade, who still loves to get on the tools and is currently President of the Waikato branch of Registered Master Builders.Nate has worked in almost every role within the business which helps him lead the team and work with each department to ultimately deliver on the vision which is to create thriving environments for our people, our clients, and our community. Nate believes that by focusing on the development of the team, the team will be equipped to look after our customers and build partners, meaning that we can all do what we say we will do. Nates favourite parts of what he does are seeing our people grow and learn, and handover days are a real highlight. Nick spent two year studying full time in Wellington where he graduated with a Diploma in Construction (Quantity Surveying). He grew up in Raglan so he moved to Hamilton to be closer to home, friends and family, and to also buy a house and start a family. Before joining Sentinel, Nick worked for 7 months as a Junior QS for a subcontractor. His favourite part of the job is seeing a project go from plan to being built, and the collaboration of the team making it happen.Nick loves to play golf, go fishing, camping, and spending time with his fiancé when he's not at work.

With a builder for a Dad, Nick practically grew up on a building site! It was only logical that he would end up in the industry. Nick has been working as a New Home Consultant with us since 2018 and has recently stepped up to fill the role of sales manager. His passion for design and sound practical knowledge helps his clients create unique and special outcomes for their new homes.
When not helping clients build houses, he keeps himself busy training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu National champions!

Olly is our Construction Manager and wears many hats both in the office and out on site supporting his staff and our trade partners. Olly is a professional problem solver and is responsible for everything in Construction. From training and managing our Project Management team, through to product and supplier procurement. He has worked in the Construction industry for 7 years and his favourite thing about working at Sentinel Homes is being part of a strong solutions focused team who work together to achieve great outcomes for our clients.

Rhys is our enthusiastic, friendly sales consultant. With 12 years of experience in sales within FMCG, Rhys’ latest role was regional sales manager for the Apple Press, however his love for the construction industry has not been a recent discovery. Before Rhys got into FMCG, he completed a pre-trade certificate in carpentry at EIT in Hawkes Bay, so he's now done a full circle and joined us! Sandie has been in the building industry for 30+ years and joins our team as our operations Manager. Sandie has worked in the commercial and residential sectors and has built in the UK and Japan. Over the last 10 years Sandie has been an integral part of teams who have built close to 500 homes in the BOP.
Sandie sits as Chair on the Doing good Foundation Board, formerly known as Habitat for Humanity BOP. A not-for-profit charity which provides a hand up into a modest and affordable home for families in genuine need. Sandie has been chairing the board for 2 years seeing many families achieve home ownership.
Outside of work and doing good for the community, Sandie enjoys hitting the lake with the family and enjoying time spent well.
The multi-award winning team in the Bay of Plenty, led by Sandie McNeil will help you enjoy your house building journey. The team can take care of re-builds, subdivisions and will guide you through the design process.
Sandie McNeil with over 30 years in the building industry, leads the team in Sentinel Homes Rotorua, helping clients realise their first or forever home. The team can take care of re-builds, subdivisions and will guide you through the design process.
Sandra is our go to girl for accounts and ensures all payments are made as agreed. Sandra enjoys being part of the team in Tauranga. Outside of work she enjoys walking, reading and spending time with family and friends.

For years Shane has had an interest in design and how the things we surround ourselves effect the way we live. Which is why Shane takes the trust in helping his clients build their special home very seriously.

Outside of work Shane likes to collect art works and loves finding unusual objects to go in his already crowded home. Travel has taken Shane to many interesting places and be able to meet so many different people and hope one day soon that will happen again.

Prior to joining Sentinel Homes over 4 years ago, Steph spent most of her career in Human Resources, working in both corporate and consulting roles. Her passion for people, combined with her ‘obsession' with residential architecture and design, is what motivated her to join Sentinel. Steph loves meeting new people and working with them to understand their motivations for building a new home. Steph's role is to guide clients through the design, specification and pricing process and her clients appreciate her attention to detail and the time she invests to make sure they love their new home. Outside of work, Steph loves getting amongst nature, paddleboarding at the local beach or walking the Waitakere Ranges tracks. Her, and hubby Rod, love good food & wine and are avid animal lovers, with 2 adorable canine ‘babies'.

Teige handles all preconstruction for subdivision clients (both house build and civil works) and is currently studying Quantity Surveying part time. Teige's communication and account management skills have proved invaluable with all the moving parts of subdivision work. Teige loves working with Sentinel as there is something new to learn every day and enjoys working with a dedicated and industrious team.
When not in the office or studying, Teige spends his time outdoors hiking or playing football and also enjoys a spot of gaming.
Tony has been in the residential building industry in the Bay of Plenty for over 30 years. He's built a team of experienced staff and subcontractors who really know their stuff.
With many Master Build House of the Year Awards, Tony's drive for quality and design is well proven.
Outside of work, Tony loves to spend time with family, and on the golf course.
Fresh out of school and only 16 years old, Tu is Sentinel Waikato's first apprentice builder. Although his family are originally from the south of the North Island, Tu was born and raised in Hamilton, attending Hamilton Boys High. He has 3 brothers and 1 sister, and likes to play rugby and go to the gym whenever he's not working. Tu's favourite part of being an apprentice for Sentinel is how much he's learnt and developed as a builder already. He also loves how welcoming and nice the team is and how they're always there to help when needed.

Will Batts has been privileged to work in various Architecture offices, on a wide variety of projects, leading teams in the delivery of prestigious commercial, residential and civic projects, from luxury high end homes to stadiums and housing developments.
Following a high paced career in architecture, Will had an opportunity to work with one of New Zealand's largest residential developers and led the design and delivery of several large scale housing developments in central Auckland. Working with some of the top people in the business gave Will some valuable insights into how a highly successful company can consistently deliver top quality homes year after year.
