Camille Hildebrand is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area and has 10 years of combined personal and professional experience in the field of addiction treatment. Prior to creating Avery Lane, Camille worked in various roles within gender-specific substance abuse programs. She brings a wealth of knowledge into creating a program that encourages and supports women seeking long-term sobriety and recovery. Through her personal and professional experience with substance abuse and addiction, Camille has dedicated herself to helping every individual who is struggling and helping to show them the path to the life they want for themselves.
Camille graduated Summa Cum Laude from Dominican University with a degree in Psychology. She received 2 high honors awards and won the thesis award for her research on women's birthing experiences. Camille is committed to advancing her education and is currently pursuing a Master's degree. When Camille is not working at Avery Lane or on her education, she is seen volunteering in high schools in Marin County, sharing her story and helping build drug and alcohol awareness programs.

Dr. Smith is recognized as a national leader in addiction medicine, the psychopharmacology of drugs, new research strategies in the management of drug abuse problems, and the treatment of adolescent substance abuse. He is the founder of the Haight Ashbury Free Clinics of San Francisco and has been honored as one of the "Best Doctors in America". Dr. Smith is a distinguished fellow and past president of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, past president of the California Society of Addiction Medicine, past medical director for the California State Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs, and past medical director for the California Collaborative Center for Substance Abuse Policy Research. Current appointments include chair of addiction medicine for Alta Mira Treatment Centers and medical director for Center Point. Dr. Smith is also an adjunct professor at the University of California, San Francisco.

Dr. Adriana Popescu is a licensed clinical psychologist, addiction specialist, and empowerment coach with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. After majoring in psychology at Dartmouth College, she received her MA and PhD from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology, a program that takes a holistic approach to the training of psychotherapists, teaching them how to help clients self-actualize and reach their greatest potential. In addition, she completed a year of studies at the Boulder School of Massage Therapy, where she was first introduced to alternative forms of healing and the idea that any problem or illness has physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual components that all need to be addressed in order to facilitate healing.
Adriana is a certified hypnotherapist, Access Consciousness® Facilitator, and Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) Practitioner. She has found that Energy Psychology provides incredibly powerful tools to identify and eliminate the deep-rooted causes of suffering and distress. She has many years of experience with and is a designated trainer of BSFF (Be Set Free Fast), having written her dissertation on this modality and worked closely with its creator. She discovered all these methods through her own quest for health and wellness, suffering with Lyme disease and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for 17 years before healing herself and becoming symptom-free.
Adriana developed her specialty in treating addictions and co-occurring disorders over 19 years at Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County, where she managed the Adult Substance Abuse Program, as director of outpatient services at Marin Services for Women, and director of outpatient services at Alta Mira Recovery Programs. She has also been a consultant and facilitated groups for a number of programs in the Bay Area, in addition to training counselors in the Chemical Dependency Studies program at Cal State East Bay.
Adriana has contributed to a number of books and book chapters, including TJ Woodward's Conscious Being Workbook and The Conscious Recovery Method™ Workbook, both of which she co-authored with him. Adriana also has a private practice in San Francisco and travels around the world coaching and facilitating transformational and empowering workshops. She loves bringing the most innovative and effective tools to her work with participants and programs, empowering people to overcome their perceived limitations, release their self-judgments, and discover the brilliance within - creating a life of infinite possibilities.

Farrah Macci is a case manager, mixed-media artist, and poet native to the South Florida area. Here, she began working in the field of addiction recovery and became certified as behavioral health technician and therapeutic art life coach. Farrah moved to the Bay Area in 2023 and is currently a counseling graduate student at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. Farrah has been involved with community-building and service work for Buddhist-based recovery programs for three years. Farrah also volunteers for a non-profit organization that holds communal offerings for people to explore the conversation of death and dying, embracing grief and loss, and honoring those we have lost. Farrah's life experiences and journey of recovery have aligned her on the path to study psychology, work with grief, weave her personal practice of meditation and mindfulness into her work, and utilize art and poetry to help herself and others to attain psychological and spiritual health and well-being.

Haley Lynn holds a Master's in Social Welfare (MSW) from the University of Kansas and has over ten years of experience working in the behavioral health field. While completing her Master's degree, she spent time at multiple universities in Ireland studying Addiction. Throughout her career, she has worked in community, hospital, and residential treatment based settings. Haley has personally and professionally witnessed the positive impact treatment can have on one's life. She is passionate about connecting people to the right care at the right time while providing a safe, empathetic ear for clients and families alike.

Jennifer Koreen is our dedicated Admissions Counselor at Avery Lane Recovery Center, specializing in helping individuals on their journey to recovery. With a personal connection to the recovery process and 10 years of experience in communications, Jennifer brings a unique perspective and a wealth of knowledge to her role.
Having experienced her own recovery journey, Jennifer understands the challenges and triumphs that come with seeking help and embarking on a path towards healing. Her personal experience allows her to connect with individuals on a deeper level and provide genuine empathy and support.
With a warm and welcoming personality, Jennifer creates a safe and non-judgmental space for individuals seeking assistance. She approaches each interaction with compassion, actively listening to their stories and providing guidance tailored to their unique needs.

Judit is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in trauma treatment, eating disorders and addiction. Judit earned her master of science degree in counseling psychology at the Dominican University of California. Before joining the Avery Lane Team, Judit worked as a Primary Therapist and Clinical Supervisor at various settings, including addiction treatment centers, community clinics and private practice. In her role as a Lead Primary Therapist Judit focuses on helping clients heal from traumas through getting unstuck and rediscovering their true selves. Judit's approach is trauma focused, compassionate and strength based. When working with clients Judit combines evidenced based interventions with mindful, spiritual and somatic techniques to help clients embrace their inner power.
Some of her clinical trainings include EMDR, Brainspotting, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and the treatment of eating disorders through the Big Hearted Embodiment Model.
To keep life balanced Judit enjoys travelling, watching sports, cooking and long walks with her dog, Bruno.

Juliana is a Registered Alcohol Drug Technician. She is currently pursuing a CADAC 1 (Certified Alcohol and Drug Addiction Consultant) at California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP). She was awarded a scholarship from the Marin County to pursue studies in mental health and addiction. Through her personal experience with addiction and recovery, Juliana was inspired to support others on their paths to recovery. She brings compassion, and is well versed in programs Marin County, and the greater bay area to offer, support to those with addiction and mental health. She brings kindness and encouragement to her clients at Avery Lane every day. Juliana works with clients to help and encourage them to create an aftercare plan and provide a continuity of care.

Throughout Katie's life, she has had a desire to be of service to others. Although she has earned a B.A. in Human Development from Sonoma State, she never wants to stop learning. After graduation, Katie invested more time into her art; her long-term goal is to see her passion for creating art exist alongside her passion for working in Behavioral Health.

Lindsey is an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) and holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from The Ohio State University; she has over seven years' experience working in substance abuse and mental health. Her educational background and personal journey with recovery, combined with specialized training in trauma and addiction, equips her with the knowledge and expertise to address complex mental health challenges. Lindsey's approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, understanding, and a non-judgmental attitude. She believes in creating a safe and nurturing environment where clients can explore their emotions, thoughts, and experiences without fear of stigma or shame.

Rosa Larsen has been in the mental health arena since 1999 as a Health Insurance Subrogation Compliance professional with an in-depth understanding of California Health and Safety Codes, Title 28 Regulations, California Insurance Codes, Title 42, Social Security Act and ERISA 29 CFR. She is an accomplished Financial, Business and Operations professional with extensive experience successfully integrating human capital development, training, and health claims regulatory compliance with solid financial management.
Rosa is a Doctoral Candidate in Industrial Psychology/Organizational Leadership and has an MBA as well as a BSBA. Rosa is an active mentor to many professionals within the same arena and is constantly training and developing their skills, as a passion.

Shawnee is currently working towards her degree in Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Returning to Marin County after earning her Bachelors Degree in English from the University of California, Irvine, she reconnected with her healing roots of nature & art, and continues to enjoy integrating these passions into her own recovery. She has found her experience in recovery from both alcohol addiction and an eating disorder to support her inherent compassion for others, as well as fortify her dedication to help women incorporate healthy and nourishing modes into their lives. In taking time for herself, Shawnee enjoys swimming, hiking, cooking, and being "Auntie Shawnee" to her nieces and nephews. She hopes to provide a sense of safety and support for the women at Avery Lane so they may begin to build a foundation for lives in recovery.

Sheryl Cohen is a Marin County native. Sheryl earned her Bachelor of Science degree from San Francisco State University in 2016 in Health Education, focusing on Community-Based Public Health and Women's Health Issues. Sheryl completed an internship at the UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Medicine where her interest in mental health and holistic health grew. Sheryl was also a Health Educator for two years providing comprehensive health education, including mental health and drug and alcohol abuse, in Title-I high schools across the Bay Area. Sheryl has been with Avery Lane since the beginning, serving our clients with compassionate and inviting care. She makes sure each client feels comfortable and safe to fully immerse themselves in their healing. She has a great passion for helping others and brings dedication and hard work to the Avery Lane team.
Summer Lan Franco loves working with people to facilitate recovery from substance use disorders, disordered eating, mental health issues and complex trauma. She earned her BS in Nutrition and Food Science from California State University Chico and MS in Counseling Psychology from Dominican University of California. She has worked in community-based and private practice settings. Her approach is personable and sincere. Summer believes in helping people rediscover their true selves by uncovering barriers that stand in the way. Her warmth and earnest interest in others' wellbeing are always present in the work she does with people seeking help. She has experience with trauma recovery, substance abuse recovery, codependency, family issues, disordered eating, treatment for anxiety and depression, and working with personality disorders.
