Ajith G. Kumar

Ajith Kumar, MD, is board certified in cardiology, internal medicine, and interventional cardiology. He performs procedures at Beebe's Margaret H. Rollins Lewes Campus and sees patients at Cardiovascular Consultants of Southern Delaware. Prior to joining Cardiovascular Consultants, Dr. Kumar practiced in Northern Delaware for 16 years. He receive his bachelor's degree from Ohio State University and his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He completed his internal medicine residency at Washington University Hospital and his cardiovascular fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Dr. Kumar is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, and the American Heart Association. He is a member of Beebe Healthcare's Medical Staff.

Alice Hopple, FNP, is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC). She sees patients with Delaware Cardiovascular Associates. She received her nursing degree from Williamsport Hospital School and her bachelor of science in nursing at Pennsylvania College of Technology, both in Williamsport, Pa. She received her MSN - Family Nurse Practitioner degree at Wilmington University. After working in family practice for 12 year she decided that she would like to return to her critical care roots and provide care for patients with cardiac issues, leading her to Delaware Cardiovascular Associates. She is a member of Beebe Healthcare's Medical Staff.

Anne Layton Villalobos, MSN, APRN, AGCNS-BC, received her Master of Science in Nursing from Wesley College in Dover, Delaware in 2021. She has been a Registered Nurse for over 20 years, and started her career at Beebe in 2002. She received the Daisy Award for extraordinary nurses from Beebe in 2018, and the Award for Excellence in Nursing Graduate Program from Wesley College 2021. Anne joins the Cardiovascular team as a Nurse Practitioner with Beebe Cardiothoracic Surgery. She is employed by Beebe Medical Group and is a member of Beebe Healthcare's Medical Staff.

Carlos A. Neves

Carlos Neves, MD, received his medical degree from Rutgers University/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey. He completed his surgical internship and residency at Temple University Hospital. He specializes in both open and endovascular (minimally invasive) repair of aneurysm disease as well as carotid artery surgery for stroke prevention. He offers percutaneous or incision-less repair of aortic aneurysms. Other areas of interest include: minimally invasive procedure with balloon angioplasty, atherectomy and stenting for peripheral arterial disease, complex lower extremity bypass procedures, carotid artery stenting, hemodialysis access, placement and retrieval of IVC filters, and treatment of varicose veins and all types of venous disorders.

David E. Yunis

David Yunis, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist who practices at Beebe Behavioral Health in Lewes. He provides outpatient care for adults with a wide range of mental health concerns. Dr. Yunis has a vested interest in community-based medicine and is committed to building rapport with each patient. He is excited to be part of an organization that is growing its behavioral health services based on community needs. Dr. Yunis is a graduate of Rosalind Franklin University's Chicago Medical School and completed a residency in psychiatry at Boston University. He also holds a Master's degree from Harvard University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Dr. Yunis is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and of the Psychiatric Society of Delaware. Dr. Yunis is married and has two teenage children. He spends his free time traveling, visiting local beaches and restaurants, playing pool, and cooking. He is especially skilled in preparation of unique international dishes and homemade pizza.

Edward "Ted" Stephenson

Edward "Ted" Stephenson, Jr., MD, is a board certified cardiothoracic surgeon. He received his medical degree from State University of New York at Buffalo Medical Center in 1993. He completed his surgery internship at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Pennsylvania State University, in Hershey in 1994, followed by a surgical residency, in 2000. In 2002, following his residency, Dr. Stephenson completed a fellowship with the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery. He served as a member of the faculty also at Milton S. Hershey Medical. Joining Beebe Medical Group in September 2018, Dr. Stephenson sees patients at Beebe Cardiothoracic Surgery in Lewes and in-hospital at Beebe's Margaret H. Rollins Lewes Campus. He is employed by Beebe Medical Group and is a member of Beebe Healthcare's Medical Staff.
