Carol Newman is General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Confie. She is an action-oriented leader with deep experience in the private and public sectors and all facets of the property and casualty insurance business. Over the past 30 years, Carol has served as Chief Legal Officer for major property and casualty companies including RLI Insurance Company and Chicago Insurance Company/Interstate Indemnity Company. From 1998 to 2007, Carol was the Chief Counsel for various business units at Allianz-Fireman's Fund Insurance Company. Carol has served as trusted advisor on compliance, governance, regulatory, corporate, litigation, reinsurance, employment and workers compensation. During her 12-year tenure at Chicago Insurance Company/Interstate Indemnity Company, Carol provided legal advice on non-standard automobile insurer, agency/broker and MGA business. She also led the stabilization of a $20 billion company as Acting President and CEO at State Compensation Insurance Fund during a time of transition for CEO, COO and CFO. Carol earned a bachelor's and Juris Doctorate from the University of Illinois. She is admitted to practice law in the states of Illinois and California. Carol is an action-oriented leader with deep experience in the private and public sectors and all facets of the property and casualty insurance business.

Cesar has spent over 20 years driving key, tangible outcomes in leadership roles within financial, insurance, and business services industries. He joined Confie in 2016 as its Chief Strategy Officer and subsequently Chief Operating Officer where he defined and led the company's integration, transformation, and growth plan. Prior to Confie, he was the President and Chief Operating Officer of Interstate National, a provider of finance and insurance products and services. Cesar's background also includes roles as CEO and President of RSM McGladrey Financial Process Outsourcing, Leader of Business Transformation at TravelClick, Senior Vice President, Global Operations at Bowne Corporation, Vice President, Reengineering and Strategy at Dun and Bradstreet, and leadership roles at Xerox Corporation. Cesar started his career having served worldwide including Southwest Asia as a Military Intelligence Officer in the United States Army. Cesar holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (Distinguished Military Graduate) and Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Florida Institute of Technology.

Chad Maxwell is the Senior Vice President and M&A leader of Confie. Chad brings over 20 years of proven experience in mergers and acquisitions and business integration and consolidation. He joined Confie in 2012 and has played a key role in identifying and executing strategic acquisitions to help transform the company into an insurance leader. Prior to joining Confie, Chad co-founded Clear Lake Consulting, Inc., which was an insurance agency consulting firm focused on offering M&A advisory, valuations and strategic consulting services to the leaders in insurance distribution. During his career, Chad has held several key senior management roles in both private and public insurance agents and brokers that were focused on strategic acquisition growth and development.

Darrin Silveria is Chief Sales Officer of Confie. Darrin brings over 25 years of proven business experience in sales, operations, and strategic development. He joined Confie in 2013 and has played a key role in developing and executing comprehensive sales, marketing, and service strategies to optimize performance. Prior to joining Confie, Darrin had several roles at T-Mobile with increasing levels of responsibility throughout his tenure, including Vice President General Manager of Strategic Transformation as well as leadership responsibility for several field operating units. During his tenure at Pepsi, Darrin served as Vice President of Retail Sales, leading the strategic development and execution of retail sales initiatives and was promoted many times to lead several operating units with increased levels of responsibility, including his role as Vice President General Manager of a newly acquired bottling operation. Darrin received his Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Fresno.

Joshua Marder is Chief Marketing officer at Confie. He brings over 20 years' experience specifically in building brands and marketing acquisition platforms that focus on helping consumers improve their quality of life and care for their families. Prior to joining Confie, Josh was the Senior Vice President of Marketing for Western Dental Services where he was instrumental in their transition from legacy marketing tactics to best-in-class digital and community-based programs. He led his teams in building tools that improved retention, consumer education, developed a powerhouse digital acquisition approach, and relaunched the core brand with a high energy campaign modeled after Kaiser Thrive. Josh brings a strong brand management background from prior companies such as Procter & Gamble, Unilever, and Pharmavite, the parent company of Nature Made vitamins. Josh holds an MBA with a marketing and strategy focus from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business. Joshua brings over 20 years' experience specifically in building brands and marketing acquisition platforms that focus on helping consumers improve their quality of life and care for their families.

Michael Kaplan is the Chief Financial Officer of Confie. He is a CPA with 30 years of Finance, Operations, and Strategy leadership experience. Michael started his career at Price Waterhouse. He then spent the next 16 years working in a number of finance and operations leadership roles at The Walt Disney Company. After, Michael took on Divisional CFO roles at Gap Inc. where he led the Finance and IT organizations for Outlet and Banana Republic multi-channel apparel retail business segments. Michael then served as CFO for Harbor Freight Tools, a $2B private hard goods retail company with approximately 350 stores and an online channel. Most recently, Michael was CFO at Pacific Sunwear, a publicly traded $800M multi-channel apparel retail company with an online business and 600 stores across all 50 states and Puerto Rico. Michael has proven experience in delivering enhanced financial performance through leading new business growth initiatives, influencing operational execution and productivity, real estate restructuring, securing debt financing, managing cash liquidity, prudently managing capital, and delivering significant sustainable cost reductions. Michael received a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California, Los Angeles. Michael is a CPA with 30 years of Finance, Operations, and Strategy leadership experience.

Tim Clark is Chief Human Resources Officer at Confie. Tim brings more than 25 years of human resources leadership experience across a variety of industries. He is a true business partner for the organization, leading a comprehensive, high-performing business function capable of making significant contributions to the company's financial performance and growth objectives. This includes managing all matters involved in attracting, developing and retaining employees. Prior to joining Confie, Tim was the Chief Human Resources Officer at Bonduelle Fresh Americas/Ready Pac Foods where he was instrumental in helping to set the culture and build a Human Resources function focused on understanding and supporting the business priorities. He and his team lead the creation of core people processes that supported a results-oriented culture, driving the strategy to acquire the talent necessary to turnaround the business. Tim brings with him a combination of diverse leadership experiences including Head of HR for Red Digital Cinema Camera Company, several years in the financial-services industry in HR leadership roles including senior vice president of Human Resources for New Century Financial Corporation, ResMAE Mortgage Corporation and Fremont Investment and Loan and more than 10 years at The Pepsi Bottling Group in roles of increasing responsibility within the Human Resources organization, ultimately serving as Human Resources director for five years supporting the Southern California business unit. Tim has a bachelor's degree in management with an emphasis on human resources from Purdue University.

Tom Hammond is the Chief Strategic Officer at Confie. He brings over 35 years of experience in the P&C Industry specifically in Operations Management, Service Center Strategy, and Contact Center technology. Prior to joining Confie, Tom was President of US Operations at Bolt Solutions where he led digital wholesale and consumer operations, including developing a long-term product footprint for the platform and continued distribution expansion. Hammond also brings strong strategy experience from his time as an EVP with The Hartford Property and Casualty Company for more than 24 years. His experience included the development and direction of AARP Direct Response Marketing, Operations Research, and P&C Customer Strategy. The last five years with The Hartford, Tom led Enterprise Contact Center technology strategies and JD Power certification programs. Hammond has an MBA and a B.S. degree in Information Management from San Diego State. Tom brings over 35 years of experience in the P&C Industry specifically in Operations Management, Service Center Strategy, and Contact Center technology.
