A native of Louisville, Dr. Mark D. Stovall graduated with honors from the University of Louisville where he was also a member of the Gold Key National Honor Society. Dr. Stovall received his Doctorate from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. During his internship, Dr. Stovall received specialty training in contact lenses at the Memphis State Contact Lens clinic, in low vision at the Memphis Low Vision clinic and pediatric vision at the Memphis Family Vision Clinic. Dr. Stovall is a member of the American Optometric Association, and the Kentucky Optometric Association. He received the President's award from the Kentucky Optometric Association in 2017. Dr. Stovall is married to his wife, Missy, and they have two adult children and two wonderful grandchildren!
