Dr. Thanh Ho Taylor

Dr. Taylor proudly serves as a founding member and Secretary of the Direct Care Physicians of Greater Houston, established in 2020, to promote high-quality, physician-led healthcare which is affordable and accessible to all, regardless of insurance status. Katy, TX has been home to Dr Taylor since 2001, where she lives with her ever-supportive husband, youngest son, and mother to whom she is primary caregiver. Her two oldest sons are at MIT and in Austin. Dr. Taylor's other passions include knitting and crocheting, oftentimes for charitable giving. She also volunteers for Christ Clinic and the Vietnamese-American Medical Association. Dr. Taylor graduated from Alief Elsik High School, got her bachelor's degree at the University of Houston, and then her degree as Doctor of Osteopathy "D.O." from the University of North Texas Health Science Center College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. Dr Taylor received her Family Medicine board certification after completing her training at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She maintains board certification through the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons. She chose the distinction of the osteopathic degree, believing in the osteopathic tenets, that th e person is a unit of body, mind, and spirit, and that th e body is capable of self-regulation, self-healing, and health maintenance. She also believes in the science of western medicine as well as the compelling data of complementary and alternative therapies. Her areas of interest include over a decade of experience with bio-identical hormone therapy, and more recently, nutrition.
