Great Beginnings is a special school, and you'll feel it when you walk in our doors and back outside into our outdoor classrooms. For 35+ years, we've fostered student learning through a combination of Montessori and truly following the child. Across two campuses, through multiple classrooms, through our summer camps, and more, we are dedicated to children... GBMS provides a personalized Montessori educational experience that intersects with the needs of the 21st century, preparing children for the global age... The school was formed by a group of parents in 1986 to provide an educational environment based on the philosophy and methods of Dr. Maria Montessori. The school shared space with Eagle Mount, a local non-profit that provides recreational opportunities for people with disabilities and young people with cancer.
