Alfonso joined as People Director in December 2021 following +15 years of international experience in the Education and HR fields. Prior to joining HEINEKEN Ireland he held a variety of global roles like HR Director for Global Procurement and Global Head of Talent Acquisition. For the last 4 years he was HR Director in HEINEKEN Panama. Before joining HEINEKEN, Alfonso spent 6 years with British American Tobacco in several local and international roles. He holds a Master In Human Resources Management and he is an accredited ICF coach.

Bart Wijn was appointed Sales Director Off Trade, HEINEKEN Ireland in September 2022. He joined HEINEKEN Ireland from Alken-Maes (HEINEKEN subsidiary in Belgium) where he was Sales Director Off Trade; in which he was responsible for growing market share and growing the business with the customers. Within HEINEKEN Bart has fulfilled multiple roles in marketing and sales over different markets including Duty Free and Export and The Netherlands. He holds a Master In Business Administration.
Conor was appointed Finance Director in September 2015. A native of Cork, Conor holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from UCC and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He has been with HEINEKEN Ireland since 1996. Conor has worked across a number of Finance and IT roles including short term assignments with HEINEKEN International in New York and Bahamas. Prior to joining HEINEKEN Ireland Conor worked for four years with KPMG.
Fiona Curtin was appointed Marketing Director, HEINEKEN Ireland in November 2023. She has over 20 years' local and international experience in brand management, innovation, and marketing. She has held many senior roles across industry-leading companies such as Tourism Ireland, C&C, AIB and Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard in Ireland and globally.
Fiona is no stranger to HEINEKEN, having spearheaded the successful launches of Murphy's in Germany in the mid 1990s, Coors on draught back in 2003 and Orchard Thieves in 2015.
Fiona is a UCC graduate, holds an MSc. & MBA from UCD and is a Certified Director with the Institute of Directors. She is a member of the Marketing Institute and a former President of the Advertising Association of Ireland.
Fiona is passionate about consumers, brands, innovation, and business growth.

Joanne Dineen was appointed Digital & Technology Director, HEINEKEN Ireland in August 2022. In HEINEKEN Ireland since 2015, she has worked across several functions including, Finance & Off Trade as well as short term assignments as Business Strategy Manager and leading the development of our B2B app. Prior to joining HEINEKEN Ireland Joanne spent 10 years working across the Coca-Cola system in various commercial & marketing roles. Joanne holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from UCC.

Orla Joyce was appointed as Legal Director to the Management Team in January 2023. A native of Cork, Orla holds a Bachelor of Law Degree from University College Cork and she is a qualified solicitor. Orla has been with HEINEKEN Ireland since 2014. Prior to joining the company, she worked with Bord Gais and A&LGoodbody for almost 20 years.

Sharon was appointed Managing Director in March 2023. She joined HEINEKEN Ireland in 2011 and was appointed Marketing Director in 2012. In this this role she was instrumental in unlocking business growth through driving the portfolio and accelerating the innovation strategy. Sharon was appointed Global Director Cider in 2016 where she further shaped the Cider category around the globe. In March 2020 she was appointed On Trade Director. During these years, she led the sales organisation through the toughest Covid closures in Europe, truly living customer centricity, keeping energy and momentum internally with her teams, and shaping a customer and consumer first recovery plan that has led to the company coming out stronger, reflected in impressive market share growth (+3.9%) and with NPS score one of highest in Europe and over twice that of the main competitor. Previous to HEINEKEN, Sharon has gained broad Marketing experience in the drinks industry at UDV, Diageo and Coca Cola.
Thijs Derksen - Chief Procurement Officer
Thijs joined HEINEKEN Ireland in January 2021 as Plant Manager and was appointed as Supply Chain Director later that year. Thijs started his career with HEINEKEN Netherlands Supply in 2009 as a Supply Chain Management Trainee. He continued as Team Lead Packaging and in 2013 as Area Manager. In 2015, Thijs switched from Production to Customer Service & Logistics, taking responsibility for all warehousing and transportation activities within the brewery of Zoeterwoude. In 2017 Thijs moved to the position of Customer Service Manager and later became Supply Chain Planning Manager.
