Amy Williamson's family moved to Florida from Ohio when she was four years old. She attended high school at Calvary Christian Academy in Ormond Beach and graduated from Warner Southern College (now Warner University) with a bachelor's degree in social work. Amy always knew that she wanted to help people, and though her career path changed, "helping people" is exactly what she does each day with clients and their finances!
Mrs. Williamson began her career at Holland Financial in 2010 as a client services representative. Over the years, the company has given her an enormous opportunity to learn and grow.
Through hard work and dedication, she has earned the following credentials: CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, Chartered Financial Consultant®, Accredited Asset Management Specialist®, and Florida Life, Health, and Variable Annuity licensee. She also holds the Series 65 license.
Amy guides the Holland planning team in financial plan construction for her clientele. She also reviews and implements the plans with her clients. Annually, she will meet to discuss any account or personal goal changes.
Amy married Joseph Williamson in 2007. The couple has three beautiful daughters. She cherishes time spent with family and friends, as well as being a part of an active church community. Physical fitness is also very important to Amy, so, naturally, her hobbies include exercise and outdoor activities.
Anita was born in Greenville, South Carolina, but her family moved to Georgia when she was just a toddler. She began her career in 1994 as a bookkeeper in Atlanta, and later worked as an accounts payable manager. After visiting Daytona Beach, she and her family fell in love with the area and decided to move to Volusia County in 2012. Anita's first job here was as a bookkeeper for Dennis L. Conley, CPA - the business Holland, Tacinelli, CPAs, acquired in 2021. After several months at the Daytona Beach office location, Anita, Kim and Ely transitioned to the beautiful Holland Financial building in Ormond Beach.
Anita is married with two adult daughters. Her oldest child is a data analyst in Atlanta and her youngest is an ESE teacher at Bishop Moore Catholic High School in Orlando. In her spare time, Anita enjoys reading, shopping, the beach, and spending time with her family and her rescue dog, Piper.

Christina is Holland Financial's Creative Director - a "Jill of all trades," providing artistic support for various areas of the company and its affiliates. Her writing and editing skills make her a valued contributor to advertising campaigns and commercials. And, as a graphic designer, she produces most printed materials for the firm, including the Holland Financial quarterly newsletter. Christina works with vendors to order all collateral materials and promotional items for the company. With a passion for photography, she is the company photographer for employee portraits and PlanStrongerTV™ guests. Christina is also the make-up artist for David Holland and Robert Mara for the weekly Holland Financial Report videos and other in-house productions.

In 1991, David began his career in the financial field as a CPA for an international accounting firm in Jacksonville. There, he developed a strong sense of responsibility to his clients which led him to begin his own financial services firm, Holland Financial in 1997.

Much of our work focuses on investing and risk management as well as retirement income planning, tax planning, and estate planning."
David D. Holland was born and raised in Bunnell, Florida. A graduate of the University of North Florida, David began his career as a CPA in 1991. In 1997, He founded Holland Financial and, soon after, incorporated Holland Advisory Services.
To help educate people about money and the impact planning can have on their futures, David wrote two books, Confessions of a Financial Planner: Secrets to a Secure Retirement and How to Get Great Advice & Avoid Financial Scams.
Over the years, David has continued to generate educational content to help people PlanStronger™. He has created videos, newspaper columns, hosted a popular weekday radio show and most recently, produced PlanStrongerTV™, nine seasons of a television show that features experts on retirement and financial planning (WDSC Channel 15, 6:00 pm, daily). PlanStrongerTV™ also airs on public television stations around the country.
Ely was born in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. She studied Accounting at the Economics and Social Sciences Facility of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo. In 2011, she embarked on a life-changing journey when she left her homeland and relocated to Florida.
You can always talk to Ely about the latest in technology and finance, those are her top two favorite topics! When not at Holland, Tacinelli, CPAs, she cherishes each moment spent with her husband and young daughter. For fresh air and added fun, Ely enjoys bicycling and the thrill of sport-motorcycling.
JoEllen was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. In 1988, she received her bachelor's degree in accounting from Butler University. (Go Dawgs!) She is proud to say she has worked for one of the Big Four Accounting Firms, Ernst & Young LLP. She has over 30 years of experience in tax, auditing, and accounting services.
JoEllen lives in Daytona Beach with her husband Dave and son Austin. Her favorite pastimes include playing tennis with Austin and spending time with her two rottweilers. JoEllen dreams of retiring, someday, in Key West!
Kalon Hoard serves as Holland Financial's President and Chief Compliance Officer, and he is responsible for the company's day-to-day operations.
Mr. Hoard grew up in the small town of Bronson, Michigan. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Trine University, Angola, Indiana. In 1990, Kalon moved from Indiana to Florida, when he accepted a job with a local defense contractor.
In 2000, he decided to make a career change to financial services and investment management.
While working for MetLife, he was introduced to David Holland by his parents, who were clients of Holland Financial . And, as they say, "the rest is history." After more than 20 years of outstanding service, Kalon Hoard is Holland Financial's longest term employee.
Since entering the financial services field, Kalon has earned three professional designations: CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, Accredited Wealth Management Advisor®, and Accredited Asset Management Specialist®. He holds the Florida Life, Health, and Variable Annuity insurance license, and has completed the FINRA series 6, 7, and 26 security exams.
Kalon and his wife, Laura, live in DeLand, where Laura is an elementary school teacher. The couple has two college-aged children, Aaron and Maura. In Kalon's spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family in Florida and his extended family in Michigan. He also likes to travel, read, and work out at the gym.
Originally from upstate New York, Kim relocated to Florida in 1982 to escape the cold! She has a degree in accounting and went on to earn the designation of Enrolled Agent in 2004.
Kim likes to travel and especially enjoys visiting lighthouses throughout the country. A football fan, her goal is to see all the National Football League teams play in their home stadiums (she's already 1/3 of the way there!). Her favorite team is the Buccaneers.
Family is important to Kim. She is the proud mother of three children, and she is the doting grandmother to a grade-school-aged grandson.

Leslie was born in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. In 1998, she moved to Flagler County to be closer to family. She has since fallen in love with Florida because of its natural resources, including beautiful parks and beaches for hiking and exploring.
For twenty years, Leslie worked in administrative positions before accepting a job offer at Holland Financial in 2013. When asked what she likes most about working for the firm she cites her "wonderful clients and coworkers." Leslie also holds an active notary public and real estate license.
Walking the trails with her two dogs, Angel and Tucker, is a favorite pastime. Passionate about helping dogs and cats get rescued and rehomed, Leslie has been a foster mom for injured, abandoned, or neglected animals. She enjoys time spent with friends and family, including her daughter, Christina, and son-in-law, Tyler. Leslie also loves to cook!

As Vice President of Technology and Operations for Holland Financial, Lisa is responsible for the firm's technology infrastructure and information systems.
Lisa also leads the in-house PlanStronger™ Media production team. She assists David Holland as the Producer of his PlanStrongerTV™ public television program and is the web developer for PlanStronger™ and Holland affiliated company websites.
Matt Sumrall grew up in middle-Georgia and entered the Air Force as an officer with a BS in Applied Math from Valdosta State. He was an Air Battle Manager on the E-3 AWACS for 11 years. Florida, Alaska, and Oklahoma are the states where Matt was stationed, and he was also deployed to SW Asia.
As a leader, Matt felt it was his duty to mentor those around him for life-changing decisions. He received his MS in Personal Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning in 2020 and then separated from the military.
Matt is married with a young daughter. His wife is a stay-at-home powerhouse and his daughter loves cats, horses, and video games.
Micah Williams was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and lived there until his move to New Smyrna Beach. He attended the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minor in Health Care Management.
When you ask Micah his favorite things about working at Holland Tacinelli, he says they are, "meeting with new clients and the beginning of each tax season." Micah likes to learn about stocks and investing in his spare time, and enjoys sports, especially playing golf. The beach is one of his favorite places to be - when his work schedule permits! Micah loves everything about his Florida lifestyle, but misses his dog, Teddi, who he had to leave with family in Pittsburgh.

Michael was born and raised in Littleton, Colorado and grew up snowboarding and playing baseball. After high school, he served nine years in the U.S. Army as a Scout and Instructor, stationed at multiple U.S. duty stations, as well as a one-year deployment in Afghanistan. After his honorable discharge, Michael moved to Ormond Beach, Florida to pursue his education at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
In 2017, Michael met his wife and together they share five daughters and one son. From 2019-2020 he served as a police officer while following his passion to serve the community. In 2021, Michael joined Holland Financial as Compliance Coordinator and is happy to continue serving his community in new ways. Michael and his family are members of Tomoka Christian Church where he volunteers on the church's Safe Team. He also enjoys playing the drums, running, and dedicating as much time as possible to his family.
Miranda moved to Ormond Beach in 2004. Since her Mother and Father were both in the Navy, she lived all over the country, moving every 3-4 years. The family even moved all the way to Guam for 2 years! She attended Seabreeze High School prior to her acceptance at UCF, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a minor in Communications.
Miranda began her career in retail banking, moving up from Teller to Personal Banker before coming on board with Holland Financial in 2018. Over the next 4 years, she began studying to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practitioner while working her way up from Client Services to Financial Adviser. Miranda now meets with clients daily, helping them to solidify their financial goals and plan stronger!
Along with her CFP® designation, Miranda also holds the Chartered Financial Consultant®, Florida Life, Health and Variable Annuity license, and the Series 65 license.
In her free time, Miranda enjoys staying active at the gym, working on renovations projects in her house, baking sweet treats, and spending time with her family. You may even see her in a Spartan race or two!
Sami Huda is one of the newest additions to the Holland, Tacinelli, CPA, family. Having lived his whole life in Ormond Beach, Sami says there is no place he would rather be. He loves the Florida sunshine and can't even imagine living in a cold-weather climate!
A graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Accounting from the University of Central Florida, Sami is committed to lifelong learning. His goals are set high. He would like to earn both the Enrolled Agent (EA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designations and complete his master's degree in the next few years.
When asked what he likes most about working as an accounting assistant at Holland, Tacinelli, Sami says that he loves the variety of clients and the inevitable "twists and turns" in the process that provide for greater learning opportunities. There is always a challenge to look forward to and he embraces the chance to continue to grow within the Holland organization.

Steve Tacinelli was born in Bethesda, Maryland, but became a "Floridian" in 1978 when his father retired from the military. He attended Seabreeze High School and later, Florida State University. Steve holds degrees in Criminology and Accounting from FSU. After working six years as a staff accountant and controller for two local businesses, Steve was hired by Holland Financial in 2008. His talents were quickly realized, and he was promoted to the positions of Controller and, later, Vice President of Tax Services.
Steve Tacinelli was born in Bethesda, Maryland, but became a "Floridian" in 1978 when his father retired from the military. He attended Seabreeze High School and later, Florida State University. Steve holds degrees in Criminology and Accounting from FSU.
After working six years as a staff accountant and controller for two local businesses, Steve was hired by Holland Financial in 2008. His talents were quickly realized, and he was promoted to the positions of Controller and, later, Vice President of Tax Services.
During his time with the firm, Steve has earned both the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA®) designations. These certifications require a mastery of taxation, advanced accounting and financial operational management knowledge, including financial planning, analysis, control and decision support.
Steve is also a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA®). The CVA® is a professional designation awarded by the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts® to individuals who have met the rigorous standards in the field of business valuation, financial consulting and litigation, and related consulting disciplines.
When Steve was approached with the idea for the firm Holland Tacinelli, CPAs, he realized David Holland was offering him the opportunity to use his education, skills and abilities to their fullest.
Steve is a member of the American Institute of CPAs®, Institute of Management Accountants and the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts®.
When away from the office, Steve enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife, Darlynn, a local social media business owner, and their daughter, Lillian.
