Easton Gear

Several NHL players opt for Easton hockey sticks, including Phil Kessel and Mike Cammalleri. Kessel's S19 has one of the lowest flex ratings in the league at just under 70, which makes it an outlier even among other forwards. While his Easton makes it more difficult to take one-timers or battle for pucks, it gives him the ability to shoot mid-stride with laser-like precision and surprise even the most veteran goaltenders. Cammalleri, meanwhile, uses an Easton stick that was originally a mistake - a batch of sticks shipped with a minor flaw on the bottom of the blade near the middle. Cammalleri ended up with a "dual-lie" stick; using the toe of blade allowed better control of pucks at his feet, while the heel allowed his normal shot. Now, Easton offers "dual-lie" technology in several of its top stick lines and Cammalleri always requests it.
