Since 2021, Carole Schraner has been working in our compliance department on a mandate basis. Within the compliance area, she is specifically responsible for the defense of money laundering and SEC. She is employed by Integritas Compliance AG, a company that specializes in consulting and outsourcing of Legal & Compliance activities for the financial sector.
Carole Schraner completed her law studies at the University of Fribourg and at the University of Bern. Afterwards, she successfully passed her bar examinations in Bern.

Bernhard Eschweiler is a trained PhD economist with over 25 years of financial markets experience. He has been active for QCAM as Senior Economist since 2011. Apart from this activity, he has been an independent economic advisor since 2009.
Previously, Bernhard worked for 18 Years at JPMorgan with positions in New York, London, Frankfurt and Singapore. Among others, he was chief economist and head of market research for JPMorgan in Asia as well as global head of JPMorgan's global business with central banks and sovereign wealth funds. Given his work as a bank economist and close relationship with leading central banks, Bernhard has a great understanding of global macro, interest rate and exchange rate issues. Bernhard is the architect behind QCAM's unique fundamental exchange rate approach, which determines both the long-term valuation as well as the fundamental drivers of exchange rates.
Bernhard has a PhD in Economics from Rutgers University in New Jersey, USA.

Gary Klopfenstein joined QCAM in early 2019 and is strengthening us in business and trading strategies with a focus on developing business potential and expanding the customer base worldwide. Since June 2020 the widely respected expert has been contributing his know-how as a member of the Board of Directors.
Klopfenstein is a pioneer in the specialist currency management industry and has wide ranging experience in alternative investment management, having been a Senior Managing Director at Mesirow Financial in Chicago where he established the currency management practice and built it to over $50 billion in less than ten years. He was also Chief Executive Officer of Berenberg Asset Management, the U.S.-based arm of the Hamburg bank's asset management business. He is now Chairman of GK Investment Management LLC, a private investment company established as a family office and based in Chicago.
Klopfenstein is an author and speaker at institutional investment conferences globally, and is a member of the Board of Directors for several firms.
Hélie d'Hautefort has been a member of the board since June 2020. Over the last 30 years Hélie has built a reputation as one of the most qualified and innovative currency professionals in Europe.

Jens Mühlhoff is Co-founder and a Member of the Board. Thanks to his experience and expertise gained over 20 years in the financial markets, the lawyer with a German State Examination and LL.M. of King's College London is highly esteemed within QCAM and is the contact person for institutional asset management solutions. Since 2004, Jens has been a resident of Switzerland and has worked since 1995 with various banks in Frankfurt, New York, and London in leading positions in different areas, with a focus on Fixed Income, Structuring, M&A, and Corporate Finance.
With more than 25 years of experience in the financial markets, the FX specialist Jürgen Büscher is contributing valuable experience and a broad professional network to QCAM.
As a pioneer in the development of the foreign exchange options market and the FX overlay business in Germany, he worked in leading positions at HSBC Trinkaus and Burkhardt Düsseldorf until 1995. This was followed by five years in Frankfurt as Head of Foreign Exchange at DG Bank and Head of Treasury Services & FX Overlay at ABN AMRO Bank.
Since 2021 Lukas has been working for QCAM in the area Risk & Operations. His focus here is on the general Middle & Back-office activities for Fund and Asset Management mandates. Since 2014 Lukas has also been working at ETOPS. There he is next to his QCAM-mandate in charge of additional Operations-mandates for Institutional clients. Previously he did an internship with Bank Vontobel, there with a focus on private & investment banking.
In 2013, Lucas has successfully graduated with a Master in International Business Management from University of Economics, Bratislava. There he was awarded for the best Master thesis.
Marc has been working in currency and asset management plus software engineering with a focus on risk management and business processes for more than 20 years. In February 2023 he has rejoined our team as Currency Overlay Manager. Marc had already been with QCAM for many years before and has had a key role in the setting-up of QCAM's currency overlay services back then. Since then he had been collaborating with QCAM in many IT and software related projects in which he mostly acted as the respective project manager.
Mario Buteneers has joined QCAM in 2021 and brings over 30 years of experience in trading and investment management of assets and derivatives like equities, government bonds, commodities, interest rates and currencies.
After several positions within investment banks in the Netherlands and Belgium like ABN-Amro Mees Pierson, Bank Labouchere & Co. and Degroof Petercam, Mario started his alternative investment management company in 2008 with a focus on quantitative systematic active alpha and currency overlay management strategies. Mario sold this company in 2020.
In the company since 2012 Martin has been working as a Portfolio Manager of our proprietary macro strategy. In 2020 he has joined the Management Committe. Martin has 20 years of experience in the financial markets, working in London, Milan, Frankfurt, and Zurich, and worked in senior positions in Equity and Derivatives Trading for, among others, UBS Investment Bank, SBC Warburg, and Swiss Bank Corporation. He also gained valuable experience as an entrepreneur managing his own macro strategy for five years. The business graduate with a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Augsburg knows: "No matter where you work, the team and corporate culture contribute decisively to the success."

Already at the time of the company's establishment in 2005, QCAM Chairman and Founding Partner Martin Wiedmann could look back on over 20 years of experience in the financial markets, and the currency markets still keep him captivated. Martin is a renowned and internationally experienced currency specialist. He has worked in top positions at leading financial institutions and headed the Global FX Division of the leading Swiss banks UBS and Credit Suisse.

Pedro has dedicated most of his 27 years of professional career to currency management and advisory. As Senior Advisor for QCAM, Pedro has been involved with the company since 2021, for general advisory and specific networking activities.
Previously, as Managing Director for Citi Investment Bank in the Global Markets division, he was heading the FX desk for Corporate and Institutional clients for Spain and Portugal, and the UHNW client segment within EMEA. Since 2019, Pedro has been running his own regulated advisory company with entire focus on currency management activities.
Pedro holds a double major in Economics and Business Management by NCSU at Raleigh, USA, and is passionate of offshore sailing.
Since 2012, Philipp Abegg, a lawyer and proven compliance expert, has been responsible for this sector at QCAM. He is owner of Integritas Compliance, a company that specializes in consulting and outsourcing of Legal & Compliance activities for the financial sector. Previously, Philipp was active in leading Legal & Compliance positions at Berner Kantonalbank, PostFinance, and regional banks. Philipp, a qualified lawyer and notary, is a law school graduate of the University of Bern.
For a long time QCAM has been working with Pius Stucki in the development and implementation of technology projects. Since 2019 Pius has also been responsible at QCAM for a rigorous and independent monitoring and risk management. He is Founder and CEO of Etops AG a company that specializes in Strategic Asset Management projects & Implementing Risk Management processes and systems as well as the Implementation of institutional asset.
Before co-founding Etops and Fundbase, Pius's career highlights included IT Project Lead at ZKB, Deputy Head Product Management at Horizon21, Head of Operations at AgaNola.
Pius holds a BSc in Business and a MB in Information Systems from VCU, USA.
Rob Beemster has joined QCAM in 2020 and is strengthening our team in his role as Senior Advisor to the company.
Rob has spent most of his career in currency management. He has held senior positions at NMB (Postbank) and ING Bank in which he focused on FX Proprietary Trading and Sales & Advisory activities for Institutional clients. Rob has spent many years working abroad, with stages in Hong Kong, Singapore, New York and London. Since 2014 he's been running his own company with focus on currency risk management for internationally active clients.
With more than 20 years of experience in the financial markets, Roberta Bertoglio Tessaro has worked in our Investor Relations Department since 2015. She started her career at UBS AG, initially with several years in relationship management for the Italian team. This was followed by more than 20 years working in the FX markets, both in trading and sales. In her last position at UBS Investment Bank, she was Deputy Head of the institutional sales team of southern Europe. After her career at UBS, she worked as an independent consultant for structured products and later as FX manager at an international commodity trading company.

Working since 2015 with the company, Sabrina von Dach has taken a firm place in our organisation. The trained banking and Swiss certified marketing and sales professional works in Business Management and is responsible for the growing segment of marketing and communications. Previously, the likable Swiss worked with the Clientis Sparcassa, and after that in marketing and sales for module and system solutions.

Sanela Baltensperger has been with the QCAM team since May 2020. She is responsible for the areas of Business Management. She looks back on 10 years of experience in the financial markets.
Bevor joining QCAM, the graduated businesswoman worked for many years at Zuger Kantonalbank and several years with a family office and an asset management company in Zurich. She served several years in leading positions of office management, trade execution, operations and middle office as well as compliance.
Sanela holds an Advaned Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Business Administration at HFW, Zug.

Since 2019 Stanislav has been working with QCAM in the area Risk & Operations. Stanislav also serves as deputy CRO at QCAM. Since 2010 Stanislav has also been working at Etops. There in a role of Head of Reporting Team and System Solutions, he has been in lead of many successful projects before becoming a Head of Services. Previously, Stanislav gained valuable experience as a Service Specialist at Horizon21.

QCAM CEO Thomas Suter is an experienced investment specialist who has been at the pulse of the currency and financial markets for over 20 years. Working for the company since its establishment in 2005, Thomas stands for experience and continuity.
In addition to Switzerland, his international career has included positions in London and Milan. The cosmopolitan Swiss has worked in various management positions, such as at UBS Investment Bank, in the field of derivatives trading and risk management. He acquired his theoretical background, amongst his other studies, with an MBA from Strathclyde University Glasgow, also holds a certificate as a Swiss and International Investment Analyst (AZEK/CIIA), and is a graduate of the Swiss Banking School's Executive Program.
