Dawn brings to RIE over 13 years of administrative experience, provides support to the project management and administration. Dawn also assist the technicians in field & HVAC team.
RIE co-owner, Elena Short has over 21 years' experience across the Oil, Gas & Food processing industries. Worked as an Electrical and Instrument (E&I) Technician and Electrical Engineering before starting RIE Group
Elena's dedication and work ethic keeps the RIE team motivated and can push the team to take on any challenge ahead. El is also passionate about supporting local jobs to keep the younger generation In the Western Downs Surat region
RIE co-owner, Elena Short is one of few women Nation-wide who is an Electrical and Instrument (E&I) Technician, as well as graduating with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
Jamie Short brings 30 years post trade experience to the General Managing role. Having grown with the company Jamie has delivered key milestones such as building the business with blue chip clients and maintaining these relationships over the years. With 15 years Oil & Gas project experience Jamie has an intricate knowledge of the industry and its requirements.
Jamie has a proven ability to maintain good relationships with the workforce which enables quality work and also a much happier, flexible working environment.
Having commenced his career in the Electrical/Instrumentation field of Oil and gas, Jamie has successfully applied the rigorous management qualities to the Power Generation and Oil and Gas Sectors and has an intricate knowledge of E&I oil and gas standards.
Jamie Short, worked as E&I Technicians in a variety of industries Australia-wide, before coming across Chinchilla in the Western Downs region of Queensland, in their travels.

Jason is an industry professional with over 30 years of Trade, Management/Supervisory, Estimating and Project Controls experience. Having worked in a wide range of electrical disciplines, Jason can exhibit significant experience working on Oil and Gas, Coal, Iron Ore and Manufacturing projects.
Jason has provided effective Project Management on small to large scale projects, with a demonstrated record of managing projects to completion. With his front end Estimating and Project Controls experience Jason provides hands on all-round project life cycle management. The range of industry skills and experienced gained during his career has allowed Jason to develop exception risk management skills.
