Annelise Youngblood

Annelise is the Head Coach for the U10 Black team and the Assistant Coach for the U13 Orange teams at Tampa North.Annelise is from the Tampa area and her journey in volleyball began in fourth grade with summer and skills camps. She fell in love with the sport and continued to play school and club volleyball throughout middle and high school. Playing on varsity teams from the seventh grade to her senior year, she has played every position on the court. Understanding the roles and fundamentals involved with each position, with a primary focus on setting. In 2020, Annelise was recruited to play for America's team in Spain (Unfortunately this tournament was canceled due to covid). While her main focus has been on indoor volleyball, her training extends to the beach courts. She ran track in middle and high school, specializing in hurdles, as well as regionally qualifying in the 300m hurdles. In 2021 Annelise was an assistant coach for the U11 and U14 gold teams at Trinity Volleyball Club, and has coached and assisted volleyball summer and skills camps at Challenger k-8 in Hernando county for 3+ years. She also participated in skills camps throughout the summers with USF, UT, and the UF volleyball team. Annelise has a passion for holistic health and is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher, and currently continuing her training through a 300-hour program. Annelise is also enrolled with the California College of Ayurveda, delving into the study of holistic health, which further enriches her understanding of the intersection between physical and mental wellness. Annelise has a strong passion for mental health and coaching the player as a whole.

Breanna Arbanas

Coach Breanna is the Head Coach for the U12 Black team. She is originally from Jefferson, Ga. She found her love for volleyball in 6th grade and from that moment forward her time was spent training at local clinics, signing up for school ball, and exploring the world of club volleyball. In high school, she played all 4 years of varsity volleyball as a middle hitter and broke a high school record for most blocks in a match. She moved down to Tampa to attend the University of Tampa to purse a Bachelor's degree in Biology and minor in Chemistry. During her college days, she traveled back to Georgia to coach volleyball for her old club team during the summer and winter. During this time, she gained experience coaching girls of all ages and skill level in a group setting and private lessons. She is currently a Laboratory Scientist at Immunologix laboratories in Tampa, FL, but her love for the game couldn't keep her away. Breanna believes the game of volleyball relies heavily on attitude, and believes a positive attitude is just as important as any skill. She is so excited for this opportunity to coach at Tampa North Volleyball Club and can't wait for a great season!

Brenda Winkeler

Brenda is the founder and Director of Tampa North Volleyball Club. She is starting this new club using her 30+ years of volleyball experiences. For 11 years she successfully coached Division 1 volleyball. As the Head Coach at Eastern Illinois from 2000 to 2004, she recorded an 82-72 record over five seasons. There she helped revitalize a Panthers program, making the NCAA tournament in 2001 playing Arizona State in the first round. In 2004 the Panthers captured a share of the Ohio Valley Conference title. Brenda left Eastern Illinois when she became the Head Coach at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale Illinois. She spent seven seasons as the head coach at Southern Illinois. During that time she led the Salukis to an 85-89 record, and helped establish a school record RPI of 107 in 2009. She has worked as an assistant coach at two Division II NCAA programs as well as consulting and coaching with USAV Club programs in her local areas of Southern Illinois, Austin, Texas and most recently Tampa, Florida. Brenda was a teacher and Head Coach at every level within the State of Illinois system, including Club, High School, Junior College and Division 1 NCAA programs. Her collegiate coaching experiences have included many honors and successes at both the team and individual level. At the NJCAA level she led the Parkland Cobras to a 1999 NJCAA National Championship. Brenda has either been a coach, consultant or founder with a USAV club team in every area where she has lived. This started with her founding and directing of the Prime Time Volleyball Club in 1995 in Champaign Illinois. She has worked and coached with numerous other clubs ever since. This continued passion has led her to begin the Tampa North Volleyball Club. She is currently the Head Coach for the U16 Black and U14 Black teams.

Chris Taylor

Coach Taylor is the Head Coach for the U13 Black team and the Assistant Coach with the U14 Orange team at Tampa North. Chris has over 20 years of experience in coaching volleyball at all levels. He has coached at the high school level all the way through NCAA Division 1. His 10 years of experience at the collegiate level resulted in over 150 career wins. He has also coached with the Florida High Performance teams for 4 years, from 2010-2016. In addition, he was recently served as a volunteer assistant with Eckerd College.

Hailey Aguilar

  • Assistant Coach With the U14 Black
Hailey Aguilar is currently the Assistant Coach with the U14 Black team. She came to Tampa North from the Chicago suburban area where she played for Oswego East High School and the Sports Performance Volleyball Club (SPVB). In high school she also earned a spot on the USA Volleyball High Performance A1 Red team, winning the gold medal in 2014. She attended East Tennessee State University where she won the starting Libero position as a freshman and was awarded SoCon Freshman All Conference team, All Tournament at the Clemson Classic and the SoCon Defensive Player of the Week. She continued playing at ETSU all 4 years amassing over 1300 digs and 200 assists and maintained a 4.2 dig/set average as the starting libero. Her team won the SoCon Conference Championship Tournament in 2017 and played in the NCAA Tournament in 2017 and in 2018, her school was the first mid-major team ever to win an at large bid into the NCAA Tournament. She graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor's in interdisciplinary studies (focus on Business) with a minor in Merchandising and Marketing. She also spent 2 club seasons being an Assistant Coach with the KVC club in Tennessee.

Hannah Shreve

  • Assistant Coach for Our Tampa North U16 Black
Coach Hannah is the Assistant Coach for our Tampa North U16 Black team. She is a proud product of Charleston, West Virginia and became a Tampa transplant in 2020. She began training as a middle blocker in the 8 th grade and continued to play that position through her college career. In high school, she earned 1 st Team All-State honors two times and WV Gatorade Player of the Year as a senior in 2012 - the same year her team won the Class AAA State Championship. Additionally, her father became an assistant coach at the high school in 2009 and remains there today (helping the school win two more state championships so far). At the college level, Coach Hannah competed in the Big 12 Conference for West Virginia University where she earned several Big 12 Conference and WVU honors for her performance on and off the court. She graduated summa cum laude in 2016 and finished her masters in 2017, both in accounting. Additionally, as a senior, she led the team as a co-captain. Throughout her college career, she assisted with a variety of camps and private lessons for younger players. Currently, Coach Hannah works in Risk Management & Compliance for a large public company in Tampa and is a licensed CPA in two states. Her love of volleyball led her back to coaching in her spare time to help grow the game and develop the next generation of competitors. During the 2021-2022 club season she worked with a U16 team as an assistant. When out of the office or gym, Hannah enjoys traveling, theme parks, the beach, and visiting her family.

Jalen Sullivan

Jalen Sullivan is the Head Coach for the U13 Orange team at Tampa North. She comes to coaching at Tampa North with more than seven years of experience playing volleyball in secondary school and college as an all-around hitter. She was also a seven-year Pioneer Juniors Travel Volleyball Team member. While on the Varsity Team at Frontier Regional High School, Jalen was an integral part of the team, winning two state and four sectional championships. Due to her skill on the court, Jalen was selected to play in the "International Volleyball Hall of Fame" All-Star Game her senior year, and she was voted an All-State Player. Jalen attended Lasell University during her first year of college and played on their volleyball team. Due to the pandemic, her season was cut short. In the fall of 2021, Jalen transferred to the University of Southern Florida during her sophomore year and began her coaching career. In the fall of 2022, Jalen coached a mini club team with Tampa North while coaching Skills & Drills. During the summer, Jalen works as a manager of an outdoor pool, where she is a certified lifeguard. She attends the University of South Florida, where she studies Health Sciences. She plans to work in the medical field when she graduates in 2024 from the University of Southern Florida.

Jamiel Maze-Ingram

Coach Jamiel is the Assistant Coach for the U12 Black team at Tampa North. She is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. She grew up playing softball, basketball, volleyball and running track through her high school days. In college, Jamiel was on the track and field team and later joined her school's all girl lacrosse team. Since graduating she has coached track and field at the high school level and has coached volleyball in high school, in local community programs and has spent 3 years at Tampa North. She loves and appreciates all things sports - the athleticism, the discipline and commitment, the excitement and the teamwork.

Jasmine Ogden

Jasmine Ogden is the Assistant Coach for the U11 Black and U12 Orange teams. She is from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and attended Nova High School where she played varsity volleyball from her freshman to senior year. Jasmine served as team captain junior to senior year and led her team to the district championship win against their rival school. She has been playing volleyball since the 7th grade and finished her youth volleyball journey at Crossfire Volleyball Club. Jasmine currently spends her time playing volleyball at the University of South Florida on their Women's Club Volleyball team as well as the Beach Volleyball Club at USF where she is currently the teams Vice President. She is very excited to be a part of Tampa North Volleyball.

Katie Hudson

Job Titles:
  • Assistant Coach for the U15 Black Team at Tampa North
Katie is the Assistant Coach for the U15 Black team at Tampa North. She started playing volleyball at age 11, with 7 years of club experience. Katie played with Infinity Volleyball Academy at the open level for her 15U thru 18U seasons, and is a four year varsity starter for her high school. She started at a young age as a middle blocker, then transitioned into primarily an all around outside hitter with experience as an opposite as well. She earned 2nd team all-conference her sophomore year, then 1st team all-conference her junior and senior year, finishing with 2nd team all-district her senior year as well. During the summer, she would compete in grass volleyball tournaments for fun. Katie focused on academics while in college, graduating summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in behavioral neuroscience from Moravian University in 2022. She is originally from Bucks County, Pennsylvania and moved to Florida in July of 2022. She is currently working as a clinical research coordinator in neurosurgery at Tampa General Hospital and is excited to be back in the sport that she loves and share her years of experience.

Kayla McCarter

Coach Kayla is an alumnus of Tampa North and she is currently the Head Coach for our U14 Orange team. She played for Tampa North during her 18's year and had one of the best experiences in club volleyball. She has been active in the sport for almost ten years now. She is currently starting her fourth year of coaching volleyball. Kayla has coached U10's, U13's, and U14's and is currently head coach certified by The Art of Coaching Volleyball. She played for Wiregrass Ranch High School where they were district winning champions and went on to play at regionals. Her philosophy is " Every person on the team serves a purpose to only make their team stronger. As well as, a great teammate will not only build themselves up, they will build each other up." She was built upon the foundations of "Hard work equals success" and "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard." Kayla is super excited for this season to come. Her goal is to build every girl up and push them to be the best they can be. She believes that with hard work and dedication, anyone can do anything they strive to do. Kayla previously graduated from Pasco Hernando State College with her associate's degree. She is currently working on her bachelor's degree in health sciences at the University of South Florida. She is in her senior year of her undergrad! Kayla is striving to start physical therapy school next fall.

Luna Armstrong

Introducing Coach Luna, the Assistant Coach for the U15 Orange team at Tampa North. Luna is a talented female volleyball coach with over 5 years of volleyball experience. Having excelled as a Libero throughout middle and high school, she brings a unique perspective to her coaching career. As a former player, Coach Luna understands the intricacies of defense and utilizes her expertise to develop solid defensive strategies for her team. Beyond the volleyball court, Coach Luna finds solace in her hobbies of choreographing and dancing. This creative outlet not only allows her to express herself but also brings a dynamic element to her coaching style. She believes in fostering a positive and energetic environment where her players can thrive and enjoy the game to the fullest. With her Libero background, passion for defense, dedication to teaching and learning, as well as her vibrant hobbies and community engagement, Coach Luna brings a well-rounded approach to her coaching career, inspiring her players to embrace their potential and thrive on and off the court.

Macy Bastian

Macy is the Head Coach for the U15 Orange team and the Assistant Coach for the U12 Orange team at Tampa North. She has played volleyball for 8 years and spent her last two club seasons at Tampa North. Macy played her high school and club seasons as a setter, switching between full rotation and back-row setter. She has played every position on the court throughout her high school career. During high school she participated in many different camps, recruiting events, and clubs. Macy is Head Coach certified through The Art of Coaching Volleyball by Jim Stone. She has coached at TN Youth Academy and Skills & Drills throughout the summer, as well as helping with the 13-2s at AAU Nationals. Outside of volleyball, Macy recently graduated from Riverview High School and has began her studies at HCC to pursue a marketing degree, to where she will transfer to Florida Gulf Coast University in Ft. Myers to complete her bachelors.

Michelle Davis

Coach Michelle Davis is the U17 Black team Head Coach. She is originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia. She is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a certified group fitness and strength instructor. She has coached volleyball for over the past 10 years and is the current Head Coach at Chamberlain High School. From 2015 - 2018, as the head varsity coach at Wiregrass Ranch High School, she finished with a 50-21 record and was named the 2017 - 2018 Volleyball Coach of the Year for the Sunshine Athletic Conference - East (Pasco County). She previously coached at Carrollwood Day School, Freedom High School, and most recently, Plant High School where she helped lead the Plant High School Panthers to the FHSAA 8A State Finals. She is currently the Head Coach at Chamberlain High School

Tayler Pallotta

This is Tayler Pallotta's third year coaching with Tampa North, she is currently serving as the U13 Black Assistant Coach and the U12 Orange Head Coach. She has experience coaching with our U13-U10 teams while continuing to help all ages in our program. She has experience as an athlete, a coach, and holds a number of certifications within the International Sports Science Association. As an athlete: from Scranton, PA where she graduated from the University of Scranton in 2013 with a B.S. in Liberal Studies and as a four-year letter winner with the Lady Royals basketball team, while also earning a spot as captain her junior year. Played in 100 games during her career, including 37 starts. Tayler attended Dunmore High School 2005-2009, lettered in basketball, track and volleyball. She poured in more than 1000 points in basketball career, was named first-team-all-Lackawanna League and first-team all-regional by the Scranton Times-Tribune. She was named the most valuable player of the Feldman tournament during the 2006-2007 season and a member of 3 straight Lackawanna League and Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) District II Championship teams. A key member of a Dunmore team that posted a 3-year overall record of 80-8(.909). As a Coach: After graduation, she was an Assistant Coach for the Lady Falcons basketball team at Lackawanna College (2014). She then switched to the high school level and was the head JV Coach, Assist Varsity Coach for the girls basketball team at Abington Heights High School (2015-2018). Within those 3 years, she assisted in coaching the girls to 3 straight District II Championships. Tayler has since moved out of the NEPA area but continue to coach both the girls basketball and volleyball within her school where she teaches. She is currently a Physical Education teacher within Hillsborough County. Tayler is ISSA Certified in the following and is planning on obtaining certification as a Performance Enhancement Specialist within the year.
