We are family owned and operated, so we're committed to the local people, businesses, and communities we serve... Exciting times here at 186networks. We have started the process of expanding our Fiber Backbone network. Below is the current Fiber build-outs and plans. All these plans we will be offering 1Gbps service speeds. We need interests and commitments for these projects to move forward... Our Internet service is available throughout much of northern Michigan with download speeds up to 75 Mbps and upload speeds up to 25 Mbps.
